Ich habe das Hotel wegen der Lage zur Expo gewählt. Es lässt sich mit der Metro sehr gut erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Von der Straße hört man nichts, aber leider hört man den Nachbar im Zimmer nebenan husten. Sehr schade, wenn es nach außen Schallisolierung gibt, aber nicht innerhalb des Hotels. Check in und Check out liefen schnell, allerdings ohne freundliche Worte. Das Frühstück ist ok. Zurzeit (Mai 22) ist das Restaurant nur für Frühstück geöffnet, es gibt aber ein paar kleine Lokale, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Parkplatz, es ist bequem mit dem Auto zu fahren.

Upon arrival at the reception we had problems with the prepayment; It was not possible to pay the price without the prepayment already provided, after about 30 minutes it was possible in cash, not the preferred card payment; the employee justified this with a new computer system. The room was not air conditioned upon arrival and was quite warm; the shower does not drain normally and quickly fills up to the brim; The beds are a kind of box spring bed: for me (about 85 kg) the mattress was not comfortable. There was only few toilet paper upon arrival, so I called the reception after it was finished, but after about an hour nothing was delivered - not to be expected for a 4 star hotel! The bathroom fan is a bit noisier than I expected and should usually auto stop after a while (although it was connected to the lamp, it usually happens). The thick curtains easily detach from the suspension when closing, and the small room fridge is much too loud (noticeable at night). When exactly is breakfast should be in the folder (I didn't see it at first glance) I liked the breakfast, the orange juice could be freshly squeezed, there should be milk (and lactose free) next to the muesli, and there should also be gluten free bread, but overall good quality of the products; we didn't try the restaurant for dinner due to the high prices. fitness room: Directly the first machine on the left (for legs) doesn't work and it hasn't changed during the week's stay, although we complained, the note with this information had fallen under the bench, so not visible; but otherwise the hall is in good condition The pool is small and during the stay they closed it, it was soon announced that the pool heating would be repaired: heating at 35 degrees outside air temperature? Incomprehensible! I tried to speak to the manager but he didn't seem interested. After we asked for a discount because the pool wasn't working, at least they took away the note the next day. All in all, this hotel did not overwhelm us and we will not visit it again: high standards and beautiful pictures, but unfortunately no coverage in reality.

Well this was certainly something to remember. Stayed here back in May 2018 for a conference. The hotel is a cold was relic, which I would certainly not book had I had the choice. The lobby is huge and empty, and the rooms spread over numerous floors, sparcely decorated, giving you a cold and dreary feeling. The views over the dark city and sweeping, but the location is not central and did not offer anything to orient yourself. There is a quite good restaurant with local cuisine nearby. Sofia itself is worth a visit, the centre is quite interesting and the immense cathedral extraordinaty - worth a visit for its own shake.

We stayed with two young children for 4 nights whilst we attended a wedding in Sofia. The hotel is in a quiet location with parking. The staff on arrival are friendly especially George he made us feel very welcome and helped with our luggage. We stayed in the family room. The room was nice big and spacious. It is in need of a few repairs and upgrades. The sofa is dipped in the middle, the corners of the bathroom are grubby, the bath has jets that need gutting and the door to the balcony is hanging off and doesn’t close properly which is a safety concern. Breakfast is simple and not a lot was out although hot food is made at your request and room service is available. The breakfast staff were lovely. A young man called Alex was very impressive, polite and diligent. Such an asset to the company to have staff like Alex. An incident with the cleaner ruined our time here. We returned to our room to get ready for the wedding that we went to Sofia for to find the cleaners had turned the room upside down. They had pulled the sofa out and the larger lady with short hair yelled at us because there were crumbs from our children eating biscuits. She was very rude and refused to leave so that we could get ready. This made us late for the wedding. And it left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. My husband complained. And it was explained to us that they just want us to keep the room tidy. It was tidy there were just a few biscuit crumbs on the sofa and floor. We paid for house keeping and it was unreasonable of the cleaners to expect to clean already clean rooms. The fact that we were shouted out by the cleaner is outrageous. The lady with the short hair is a liability. You cannot shout and be rude to guests over crumbs on the floor and sofa. I don’t want to penalise the rest of the team for one hostile cleaner. The rest of the staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The outside area is beautiful especially at night. Lots of fairy lights. The staff are easy going and there is a play area in the gardens including a huge trampoline. There is a well which is covered so just beware to watch young children. The pool looks nice but is deep and cold. It would have been nice if it was heated but in September it was too cold to enjoy. Food is good and room service was great. Overall it was a comfortable experience and cost effective.

Was sich hier ab gespielt hat ist nicht zu glauben. Ich dachte ich bin im falschen Film. Aufgrund des Lärm der Klimanlage, welche auch ausgeschalten schlaflose Nächte und bei genereller Anwesenheit nicht auszuhalten ist, wollte ich das Zimmer wechseln. Achtung es geht los, man gab mir ein anderes Zimmer und half mit mir meinen Sachen und bevor wir gingen fragte ich dem Pagen, ob das Problem da auch bestünde, nein. Also zogen wir um. Ich habe eine sehr starke Erkältung und es strengte mich generell alle sehr an! Im Zimmer angekommen gleiches Problem. Wieder neues Zimmer. Gleiches Problems. Einer von Rezeption kam und zeigte weitere Zimmer aber da fehlte dann Der Schreibtisch und dafür kein Lärm. 7 Zimmer Später war ich ich in einem neuen Zimmer mit gleichen Problem. Ich fragte, ob sie mich verarschen wollen, warum ich dann erst umgezogen bin? Keine Antwort. Sorry! 2,5h Stunden später erbarmte sich dann der Manager mit ein Zimmer direkt neben meinen Alten zu geben. Der Lärm war weg aber die Temperatur auf 23 grad fixiert und diese ändern zu können. Alles gute an meine Erkältung. Ich checkte aufgrund dieser Vorkommnisse und dem generellen Verhalten des Management und Rezeptionisten 3 Tage vorher aus. So etwas ist mir ein Leben lang noch nicht vorgekommen. Asozial sogar! Ich hatte ca 200 plus x 5 Sterne Aufenthalte bis dato, dies als Nebeninfo! Selbstverständlich wollte man mir keinen Cent rückerstatten aufgrund non-refundable Rate. Das sind sie zu 99% wenn man bereits eingecheckt hat und freiwillig abreist!!!!

Wir waren hier als Teil einer Gruppentour im September 2022. Einchecken war schnell von der Hotelpersonal und wir wurden ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock gegeben. Da wir Teil einer Reisetaaltour waren, waren einige Zimmer Zwillinge und einige waren Dreier. Ich war in einem Dreibettzimmer für die eine Nacht, die wir hier verbrachten - für drei Jungs mit Taschen, das Zimmer war ein bisschen auf der kleinen Seite, aber wir machten es funktionieren. Die Betten waren bequem genug, das Bett und das Zimmer waren sauber und die Ausstattung war in guter Zustand. Neben den drei Betten gab es einen Desk, TV, Schrank mit Sicherheit und Hangplatz. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche über das Badezimmer, großes Tauchbad und Vanitätseinheit und Toilette. Die Handtücher waren sauber und es gab keine Probleme mit Wasserdruck oder Temperatur. Das Hotel-WLAN war gut - gute Reichweite und Geschwindigkeit. Wir gingen in einen der Konferenzräume für ein Informationstreffen vor unserer Tour und es war eine gute Größe. Es gab eine Hochzeitsparty neben der Tür in einem der anderen Konferenzräume. Frühstück war gut, mit einer guten Auswahl an Essen und Getränken. Das Personal war hilfreich und sprach gut Englisch. Lage-wise, Sie haben einen großen Supermarkt neben der Tür, so wenn Sie etwas brauchen, einschließlich was von einer Apotheke wie wir, dann haben Sie Glück. Insgesamt ein guter Kurzaufenthalt hier - empfohlen.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Best Western Terminus Hotel in Sofia. What an amazing hotel this is, on the doorstep of a fantastic public transport system. The hotel is around 1 mile away from the downtown area. Don't let that put you off, the tram stop is directly outside the entrance. The room was spacious and had all of the necessities to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The fridge was a really useful addition. The bed was huge in the king room!! The housekeeping staff were great and serviced our room daily. The breakfast was a continental buffet style. Again, this was a great start to the day and was included in our room price. A good selection of hot and cold options. There is no bar area in the hotel however there is a fridge in the reception area where you can purchase alcohol and non alcoholic drinks to take away to consume in your room. All of the staff members that we met were professional in their conduct and were polite, friendly and helpful. We loved the luggage room availability - as we had a late flight, the staff agreed to look after our luggage so that we could enjoy our final day in this beautiful city. The hotel price was an absolute bargain. This alongside the quality accommodation and friendly/helpful staff makes this a great choice of hotel. I would highly recommend and will return here in the future. Don't be put off by previous comments about the area around the hotel. As in any city in the world, you need to be vigilant. We had no issues at all. We found the Bulgarians to be extremely polite and welcoming.
