Oro is a true gem of Skiathos town! We booked our holidays a year in advance and we got paid by the result. We had the most wonderful holidays of our lives (no exaggerations). Firstly, the energy of this place was amazing. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming. They gave us all of the information needed and made our holidays extra special with their hospitality. Also, another thing that we really liked was the breakfast area which seemed to be renovated and and amazing place to enjoy your breakfast in such a peaceful and relaxing way. Lastly I can’t recommend enough that place for how close it is to everything. Literally the main pedestrian street is in few minutes from the hotel and the nearest beach Megali Ammos is almost 3 minutes by foot. You have all of the convenience of the town without being stuck on the crowded and loud streets. It is the best place to stay at Skiathos town and we can’t recommend it enough!! Definitely be back next year, save a place for us!! Joanne!!

We visited Oro last August and we where thrilled by that. We where welcomed by the most friendly and helpful staff we could have met. Every single person in that hotel, from the delightful receptionists to the amazing staff at the bar taught us what means greek hospitality. Every morning we had an fantastic breakfast at the most cozy and newly designed breakfast area. There was plenty of space for all of us and we never had trouble finding a spot to sit immediately. An other amazing fact about the hotel is the location! That was ideal for me and my husband cause we were literally everywhere by foot within minutes. There is a bus stop (bus stop number 4) in two minutes from the hotel that we used only to go to some beaches of the island such as famous Koukounares and Vromolimnos. But we spend also most of our days by the pool of the hotel and the nearby beach Megali Ammos whis is a few minutes. Everything was so close to us and we had the convenience of being in the main city but not in the crowded areas of it. Our stay at Oro was a dream! Definitely coming back with our whole family this time! Jessica and Peter!!

Just back from Hotel Oro 2 weeks of bliss. Fantastic small friendly hotel with the best owners and staff. They all went out of their way to make sure our stay was fabulous. The sweetest girl Athena who had a smile and warm welcome every morning and her lovely sister at there other hotel. Not forgetting the Bar staff and maids who were also courteous and polite. Boys ( owners ) you have the best people with you. To top it all pick up and drop off service to and from airport free . We will definitely be back . Much love Joanne and Jason ❤️

Had a one night stay here (due to the IT Global issue) as couldn’t fly home. We were greeted by the most loveliest reception girl. What a credit she is to your hotel. Location is fantastic, as is the pool, room and breakfast area. However I can honestly say the shower was one of the worst we’ve ever had! It literally trickled out.. almost non existent. The water thermostat was also far too hot.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The hotel is situated 5 mins walk from town and 2 mins from the nearest beach. Located by bus stop 4 its situation is perfect. Amazing view from our room. The hotel is well kept with a great choice for breakfast. The staff at the hotel are amazing. Great poolside bar drinks and food at reasonable costs. Never had an issue getting a sunbed the 5 nights we were there. We feel really lucky to have found this little gem.

1.Hotel will transfer you to/from the airport at no cost. 2.Ten minutes walk to nearest sandy beach or to the main street. 3.Two minutes walk to nearest shop. 4.Comfy bed. 5.Great selection for breakfast. 6.Looks just like the photo. 7. Daily room service, with linen changed every other day. 8.Aircon included. 9.Roomsafe included. 10.Fridge included. There is an ironing board & iron and a kettle available on request. Due to its position, this hotel would be unsuitable for those with walking difficulties, although there is a chair lift up the main steps from the road. The bathroom is a wet room, something we are not familiar with, but got used it after a few days. First thing in the morning the hot water did take quite a while to come through, but was hot enough when it did. Did get confused when using the shower for the first as the red dot / blue dot on the tap was the wrong way around. There are many returning customers which says it all! This was a first visit to the island and this hotel and are looking forward to returning again in the future. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you everyone at Oro Skiathos.

The best place to be. At our arrival the sweetest girl welcomed us and informed us about the hotel and the island. After that she took us to our room . The view to skiathos town and the sea was amazing. We drop to the bar of the hotel and we had amazing cocktails. Maria at the bar always there and happy to serve us . What a kind girl. I could continue writing about this gem in Skiathos town but it will take me too long. Furthermore EVERYTHING is 5 minutes walking. The bars , the taverns, the beach…everything. And the bus stop just 30 meters away. Thank you ORO

We chose this property based on reviews from bookings.com and based on photographs on this site. The property is very different to what the published official photos show…creative photography makes the place looks great. The bathroom and particularly the shower is not functional as the place gets flooded when the shower is used. Housekeeping is appalling , when we checked in we found the bathroom was left unclean as the old towels and other items were all over the floor. As the housekeeping staff had left for the day it was up to the young girl from reception to clean the room for our stay. Consecutive days provided the same experience as towels were not replaced and bathroom items were not available as we had to consistently ask for these. The breakfast is ver spartan and not the breakfast you would expect from a hotel with “4” stars plus This property lacks professional management regardless of the objective feedback provided to the receptionist staff the opportunity for improvement during our stay was not shown. We acknowledge the efforts of Athina. Family run business in hospitality can be challenging but customers expect the services they pay for.

Spent a week at Oro. Only criticism was the breakfast area, which appears to have not yet been finished. Everything else was great.Good breakfast selection, "management brothers" very helpful and in the perfect location. Had a few small issues which Stavroula on reception resolved very quickly for us. Cleaners very efficient and work with a smile.Had some very good chats with Yiannis the barman, a top man..hope he achieves his dream and keeps in touch via Facebook. Loved Oro, met all our needs and was a happy place to stay.Will definitely recommend. Yamazz!
