Alles war großartig! Gute Lage und einfacher Zugang zu allen lokalen Annehmlichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ruhiges Hotel und auf einem schönen Grundstück gelegen.

Es wird erwartet, dass Sie mit dem Auto zum Hotel kommen. Es ist wirklich praktisch, in York zu parken und zu fahren. Das Hotelzimmer war geräumig und sauber, und das Wichtigste ist, dass es auch haustierfreundlich ist, mit einem Aufpreis von 15 Pfund pro Nacht für das Haustier.

The reason we booked this hotel because of the convenience of parking, despite seeing some honest, unsatisfied reviews. I am disappointed after staying for 3 nights, I would not go there again. Disappointment: 1.the room really needs some work to do, such as sash window couldn't open after asking for help to shut it, the thermostat was off the wall and the tap needed turning for ever to get the water out. 2. No aircon or ventilation system in place. The window was important for fresh air which did not serve the purpose. 3. The reception was informed about these problems on arrival, she (the bleached hair local girl) was not bothered by. She asked us to turn the radiator off after she was informed the thermostat was off the wall. She was not bothered by the faulty facility and did not mention asking someone to have a look or fix. I had to give her a point that she said not to touch it. She is unlike the other staff who were clearly care and helpful. 4. Super small television 5. Dirty drink tray 6. Chipped mug Good points 1. Bar service was good, especially the evening staff. 2. Quiet at night time 3. Bed was nice, not hard and not soft. General impression: It was not good value for the money, £400 for 3 nights.

We went down for our 5th anniversary, we arrived and the outside building looked really nice. when we got to our room, the light in the toilet was leaking and it had flooded the bathroom, we changed rooms but the only room they had available was 2 single beds

前台服務生給人賓至如歸的感覺還在uber不給力的時候幫忙叫車，非常感謝！

房間整潔，位置不錯

Bed was comfy, had everything you need for a stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Just needs a little tlc in some areas

We stayed for two nights to attend a nearby wedding. Two adults and one 4yr old child. Check-in was easy and smooth and the man on the desk was very courteous. We were very disappointed with our room. It was very dated and in places downright shabby. There was a large damp patch showing on the ceiling, the bathroom taps were very worn and discoloured as was the toilet flush handle which was so very loose and had to be pulled back up after flushing. The wall lamps above the bed were also very worn and wobbly. We didnt actually eat in the hotel or use the bar so cannot comment on these. The hotel entrance was bright and welcoming but sadly, for the price we paid, the room did let it down enormously. We also feel at £220 for 2 nights that breakfast should be included.

Clean and comfortable. Loved the little touches in the room, e.g. Earl Grey Tea, coffee machine, bottled water, fluffy towels, comfortable mattress. It was these little touches around food and drinks which would make me recommend staying here.

Paid £320 for a 2 night stay. Room was very dated and hasnt been upgraded for a very long time ( decor suggest 1980s ) staff not helpful at desk, I asked if she had info on bus services to city centre, she replied thats not her job and that id have to go online and google it

The centre of York was easy to reach, nice and serene location. We would have given 5 stars when the cleaning staff had not messed up: 1 day not cleaning the room but tagging it off on their working list. Next day only partly cleaning the room and putting some content of the bin as display in the room. (revenge?). The first failure was apologised for by the receptionist who gave us a free drink voucher to make up for the mistake. Just a pity that the bartender started to refuse the voucher initially when he saw it, even before I could order anything. What the staff behind the front desk tries to “rescue” is ruined by other service staff members: here is some improvement possible. If this hadn’t happened, we would rated the hotel 5 starts for our 5 nights stay.

Excellent accommodation and breakfast, but couldn’t turn down radiator, room thermostat didn’t seem to work. Had to turn radiator off at valve (room 204).

Our rooms went ready check in (though strangely others were). Towels threadbare & smelly.
