Haustierfreundliche Hotels in Siquijor

We had originally booked for one week at the Lazi Beach Club; however, we decided to extent our stay to 9 nights! Indeed, we were warmly welcomed and had great service throughout our stay. Our meals were fine, and the staff was friendly and caring. Our beachfront room was large, and situated right beside the Bahura Dive Shop. Furthermore, just offshore there’s wonderful coral reef to one side, and a good muck diving location to the other side. There’s a LOT to see and experience on the small island of Siquijor when one is not diving or snorkeling. And, we were always quickly provided us with transportation for our excursions. We’re an older couple in our seventies. Especially after a broken leg two years ago, we did not want to rent a scooter. We carefully crawled through the Cantabon Cave, swam in the Sambulawan underwater river, swam at a picturesque pool below the Cambugahay Falls, climbed to the top of the island at Mt Bandilaan, viewed giant clams while snorkeling at both the Tulapos and Tubod Marine Sanctuaries, and visited historical sites like the St Francis of Assisi Church. On our last night we were taken to the Pitogo Cliffs for an amazing sunset experience. This was a budget accommodation where the staff really cared about us! There's only six separate places to rent, so you'll never be just one of many tourists here! We had such an adventurous time that we did not even use their swimming pool!

Gestern nach Siquijor gereist, und leider ist das Hotel, das ich reservierte, 45 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt. Ich fand diesen Garten online. Ich ging dorthin und glücklicherweise gibt es noch ein Zimmer zur Verfügung (20 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt) Überraschend, das Zimmer ist vor dem Strand!!! Schleiftüren aus Glas machten es sehr fantastisch. Sie haben nur Fanzimmer und Stromunterbrechung täglich nur 15 Minuten. Sie haben WiFi in der Bar und Restaurant, aber die Telefonrezeption ist hier nicht gut. Wenn Sie einen Ort suchen, um sich zu entspannen und von einer stressigen Stadt weg zu gehen, ist dieser Ort perfekt. Um es 5 zu machen, hoffentlich haben sie Reis Gerichte, die für nur einen Pax gut sind. Das Essen ist wirklich gut, außer der seltsame sinigang (Schweine Tamarind Suppe) mit Karotten haha. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, vor allem am Morgen essen, um das Restaurant zu kümmern. Sie kennen Englisch, Tagalog und ihren Dialekt. Insgesamt bin ich glücklich und möchte bald wieder da sein. :)

I normally do a pretty good job of scouting out the reviews and picking a place to stay; however, I feel like I didn’t do very well this time. I was looking for something close to the Marine park and this place met those requirements. Cute cabin, quick to respond through Booking, great beach access and good snorkeling, close to many restaurants along the road. A couple chairs to sit on and a nice bench was part of the interior. The sunsets are beautiful but make sure you bring bug lotion. Nice signs to warn you that the coconuts might fall on your head. Thankfully the room had a fan to move the air at night. Small bottles of water and soft drinks in frudge to purchase. There is a nice grocery store just past the yummy Napoli Caffee where you can get drinks and snacks. The owner is very nice and the staff is very pleasant. While the unit was OK, the mattress was just a 3” well used foam pad on a wooden bed platform (two twin foam pads). So, no great sleeps over the 5 nights. No hot water (but it is tolerably cool), toilet seat was not secured to the toilet (but it was chained), no shampoos and just one little bar of soap for the sink and shower. No hair dryer for those of you that need one daily. Bath towels should have been replaced about a year ago and no hand towels (unless requested multiple times) or wash cloths. The pillows are some type of lumpy foam chunks - but at least it wasn’t flat as a pancake (throw pillows look like they have never been cleaned). When we needed to they were never around, so ask before about 5pm if you need something. Yes, they sweep the leaves but maintenance is lacking. Walkways are overcrowded by plants and they are very slick when it rains - be cautious. Internet is abysmal (best at the “Park your broom” sign). No fresh water shower to knock off the sand after you snorkel. We were there 5 nights (booked for 6 but the weather caused a delay) and our room was never serviced. We had a clothesline with us so we were able to hang the towels every day to dry. Would have been nice to at least had the unit swept once and a towel refresh and the rubbish bin on the front porch emptied (this would reduce their ant issue). We had coffee a couple times in the morning but went next door to República to eat-breakfast and dinner (fantastic food) - and they have free 5g wifi. We only saw a couple of people eating breakfast here and never saw anyone having dinner. If your budget is tight, then this place would be fine. This is about a 2 star hotel - not a resort. Note: we did speak with the owner as we were leaving to share our concerns. She claimed we should have had fresh towels each day and refresh is by request. Supposedly they also keep a stack of fresh towels at the kitchen area. We never saw them but they could have been there. We suggested they provide an info sheet in each room regarding their services that they provide- not an impossible task since they only have 6 rooms.

Les chambres sont un peu vieilles mais très spacieuses. Le personnel est au petit soin. Attention il n'y a pas de plage pour se baigner, c'est une très belle vue mais ce n'est pas pour se poser à la plage

Ich bin ein häufiger Reisende, und das ist eines der besten Budget-Hotels, das ich gehabt habe. Das Personal ist warm und freundlich, das Essen ist großartig, gute Einrichtungen und sehr flexibles Management. Kostenloses WLAN, das tatsächlich funktioniert, nur einen Stein weg vom Komfortgeschäft, Markt, Drogengeschäft, Backwaren, Restaurant/Burger/Pizza usw. Ich bin sicher, dass ich wieder da sein wird für einen wirklich besorgten kostenlosen Aufenthalt.

Wunderschönes Resort mit absolutem Wohlfühlfaktor und perfekt zum Energie tanken 🧡 Wir (kleine Gruppe von vier Personen) hatten das Reort für einen kurzen Inselstopp gebucht und waren absolut begeistert von dem einzigartigen Flair und dem so engagierten Gastgeber-Team rund um Marcel, die den Aufenthalt zu einem wirklich besonderen Stopp gemacht haben! Danke für die schöne Zeit bei euch, wir kommen hoffentlich mal wieder :)

Rezeption ist nicht an einem offensichtlichen Ort, schlechte WLAN- und Wasserversorgung. Einige kleine Probleme mit Innenraum. Balkon ohne Zugang zu ihm. Andernfalls, wirklich gute Lage, Frühstück, Umgebung. Nicht für einen langen Aufenthalt IMHO
