The place was a little old but good. It was very close to the hawker, very accessible to the bus. Good place if you want to relax, walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to the port if you want to go to the island pulau ubin.

Nachdem ich einige der Bewertungen gelesen hatte, war ich ziemlich besorgt über unseren Aufenthalt. Für uns lief es jedoch gut. Dieser Aufenthalt war ein Genuss für ein Kind, das Busse wirklich liebt, das es genießen konnte, im Bus zu schlafen und vor allem so zu tun, als wäre es Busfahrer. Der Schlafbereich war komfortabel, allerdings war es an den Seiten aufgrund der Kingsize-Matratze in der Mitte etwas eng. Dusch- und Toilettenanlagen funktionierten gut. Die Badewanne war meiner Meinung nach nicht ganz brauchbar, das Wasser würde sicherlich spritzen und es gab auch eine kleine Warnung, dass man sich nicht auf den Wannenrand setzen sollte. Schöne Veranda mit Grill, Stühlen und Tisch mit Sonnenschirm. Es ist teurer als ein normales Hotel, mehr für das Erlebnis. In der Nähe gibt es eine laute Kneipe und gelegentlich hört man Flugzeuge starten. Der nahe gelegene Spielplatz (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes vor einem der Tore), das Changi Village Hawker Center (2 Tore mit Zugang), Restaurants und der Fährhafen sind sehr bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Standardzimmer, 28 Quadratmeter, zwei kleine Betten, geeignet für zwei Erwachsene, mit Dusche und Badewanne. An der Rezeption gibt es einen chinesischen Service. Ich habe ein Zimmer im 3. Stock bekommen. Nachdem ich an der Rezeption nachgefragt habe, kam die Haushälterin jeden Tag zum Putzen das Zimmer und räumte jeden Tag 4 Flaschen Mineralwasser ein. Für ein paar Singapur-Dollar kann man in Singapur immer noch etwas Geld sparen. Das Frühstück besteht hauptsächlich aus Brot, Kuchen und Obst. Ich traue mich nicht, Kuchen zu essen. Zum Mittagessen gibt es kleine Brötchen und Brei.

Wir haben das Hotel lediglich lediglich für 1 Nacht gebucht, da es sich in der Nähe des Flughafens befindet. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Unser Dank gilt auch dem netten Team an der Rezeption, welches uns unkompliziert ein Late-Check-Out ermöglichte. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin S. Böttcher

There is microwave n cooking hood if you want to do your own cooking. Also got plate , bowl, pot n wok, spoon n fork. The fridge also got 1 small freezer n a portion to put wine. Place very near ntuc too to buy food for cooking.

We stayed here as a group of 8 people during our business trip and I can fully recommend the hotel. the area was great for us, lot of bars and restaurants and good night life. Further, the bus which brought us to the company every day was just around the corner (Bus no. 15). The hotel itself is very clean, has a big shower (so good!!!) and was cleaned every day. I liked that in the bed there was two different pillows, a soft one and a firm one! since I only like soft ones it was great for me! the stuff is really nice and helpful. booking taxi middle in the night for us or giving good tips as we had some issues with the credit card (it wasn't hotel fault, it was the bank!) and the best : the stuff is always smiling!! not to forget the nice orange juice machine (two!). having a fresh orange juice after the hot working day was great! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, but I did from the juice machine :) Breakfast was nice and there is always something for everyone. me for my part love Asian food, so I enjoyed kaya buns and the fresh fruits. Also the coffee is nice and I loved the masala tea! Around the corner of the hotel you can eat famous Katong laksa! the best in the city in my honest opinion! Also five chicken star is nice place to eat since they are serving very good hainanese chicken rice. If you go down the street from five chicken star, you will find Mel´s Place, a nice beer garden with local people. You can watch football here, play billard or enjoy live music on some events. When traveling, I like to connect with local people and get more nice tips where to go, so my tips here are far away from the touristic areas and events.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic staycation at Hotel Indigo Katong and couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service set the tone for a memorable experience. The staff, namely Andy, those who helped us shift the breakfast into the sheltered area, the staff who delivered the room service items, went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with warmth and professionalism. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to enjoy a high-quality staycation in a truly cool and welcoming environment. Highly recommended!

This is my fourth stay and will be my last stay at Grand Mercure Roxy Square. Upon check in, I smiled and said “Wah nice layout and change” Then a front desk officer named Noorain just said “Check in?” I quickly showed my booking ID and gave my identification card and the front desk asked me “How many people staying in?” I mentioned just my husband and my small children in which she quickly interrupted me and said “I need all of their I.D” I asked again that the booking is in my name only and which she quickly said “No, I need their ID” and just looking at the screen. I texted my husband who was in the car and he came over to pass his I.D. My husband had asked Noorain that we have stayed here many times and there was never an issue, Noorain mentioned loudly that this is a new system, so my husband also said if it is a new system, how do you keep track of previous hotel guests and she said “Im sorry this is a totally new system” and then very loudly said “ THEN THE STAFF LAST TIME WAS THE ONE WHO DIDN’T RECORD” I was taken aback of how quickly the front desk changed her tone, I had asked her where do I write down all my children’s particulars, and she just pointed out to write the sensitive information on the top blank space part of the hotel form receipt. Not wanting to ruin my day, I just complied and just took the room key given. It was a very unpleasant feeling the whole day of staying in on the eve of CNY. And It made me believe I had been profiled to be treated like that. I have receipts of my past stay and receipts of good review of Roxy Square previously, I love the location and I teach around the area, so it was convenient for me and my family to unwind. Unfortunately, this will be our last stay. I love the upgrading of the hotel, and I wish you success Mercure Roxy. Here is a disappointing goodbye.

Unweit der U-Bahn-Station befindet sich dahinter ein Lebensmittelmarkt, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Schalldämmung des Raumes ist gut und selbst wenn ein Team ein- und ausgeht, wird der Raum nicht gestört. Heißes Wasser kommt schnell und in großen Mengen heraus. Die Schwester an der Rezeption sprach kein Chinesisch, aber sie versuchte höflich ihr Bestes, mir entsprechend meinem lockeren Englisch zu helfen. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist wunderschön. Noch schöner wäre es, wenn man auf dem Sofa nicht die langen glatten Haare anderer Leute finden würde.

Die Raumaufteilung ist unangenehm. Dusche und Toilette waren getrennt und der Fernseher dazwischen platziert. Versucht, das Zimmer zu wechseln, das Personal wurde zunächst aufgefordert, auf die Desinfektion des verfügbaren Zimmers zu warten. Am Ende sagten die Mitarbeiter, das Hotel sei ausgebucht und es sei kein Zimmer verfügbar. Warum mich dann warten lassen? Warum sagen Sie mir, dass überhaupt ein Zimmer frei war? Ansonsten war wie immer alles in Ordnung. Kostenlose Minibar. Netflix und gute Fernsehsender.
