Village Residence Hougang

The location is quite far from the atractions but it is quiet, serene and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Trip for this wonderful vacation!

My family and I (including in-laws) stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment here for several weeks over the Easter break. The apartment was very clean, well ventilated, air conditioned in every room, spacious and had big windows which let a lot of natural light into every room. The Village apartments block is right above the Hougang 1 shopping centre which made it so convenient to pick up groceries, household items and food etc. The centre has so many great food options as well as a Kopitiam which we found ourselves visiting daily. Highly recommend the “Singapore Signature Breakfast” with coffee, half boiled egg and kaya toast if you’ve never had it before. The local area feels like a truly local leafy green Singaporean neighbourhood with lots of access to transport, parks, playgrounds for the kids and is a short walk to the local Hawker Center. The Village residence amenities including the pool, gym and sauna were clean and well maintained and the staff were very attentive. A special thank you to the housekeeper Surayah who was very meticulous and very courteous. She was especially accomodating and helpful to my mother in law’s requests, as well as my many requests for more towels, which was all very much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again in the future when visiting Singapore. Thank you to the Far East team for making us feel like Hougang locals!

We returned to this place after 10+ years. We were given a lower level pool facing unit this round. However the sound barrier in the unit was very good, restful sleep. Service level has not dropped over the years. In fact it's even better. The service apartment has the best cleaning and maintenance crew. During my stay we had some light bulbs that blew. The maintenance crew attended to it immediately. The cleaning crew were lovely, efficient and very thoughtful. Ms Uma went out her way to find and place a shoe rack in our unit as we had multiple pairs of shoes and slippers. A few times we locked ourselves of the bedrooms. The crew Mr Meir & Ms Serene came by very quickly to unlock for us. Lovely time.

I liked the stay in Hougang Residential Village.. You feel at home, all services are available and all the employees I give them a very excellent mark.. I was pleased with the staff’s welcome and continuous service. Thank you very much I hope to visit your village in the coming years.. It is the right place for me.
