Wir waren 6 Nächte im Babel Guesthouse. Centrale Lage, Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind groß und einfach eingerichtet . Das Guesthouse ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Rattanmoebel im Eingangsbereich defekt ,Latten gebrochen und abgeranzt. Alles etwas renovierungsbeduerftig. Im Badezimmer konnte ich nur auf Knien duschen keine vernünftige Halterung für den Duschkopf ansonsten Badueberschwemmung. Aus dem Wasserhahn kam nur ein Rinnsal heraus. Sollte gutes Personal merken und melden für eine Reparatur. Der Poolbereich nur schlecht, Liegen defekt , Anlage ungepflegt .Die Tische schmuddelig. Die Sitzgarnitur war so ekelig und fleckig, als hätten Wochenlang Hunde und Katzen drauf gelegen. Das Wasser zum trinken wurde erst garnicht aufgefüllt. Alles auf Bildern zu sehen. Das Toast beim Frühstück war so hart das man es mit einer Stichsäge essen konnte und viel zu teuer für die Leistung, da gibt es besseres fürs Geld. Fazit ich kann manche Bewertungen nicht verstehen aber ich kann das Guesthouse nicht weiter empfehlen . Das Personal freundlich

Sehr familiäre, chillige und zentral gelegene Unterkunft in Siem Reap. TOP: Pool, Restaurant und Spielbereiche für Kinder. Zudem fantastische Unterstützung bei Organisation Touren. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere für Aufenthalt mit Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

We loved our stay at Babel Guesthouse. Especially the pool area is well done, and a good place to relax after a day outside exploring the wonderful Siem Reap. The food is also delicious and we ended up eating a lot at the restaurant in sted of going out.

Babel guesthouse ist not only a great place to stay while in Siem Reap, but also a fantastic place to book your activities sustainably and ethically. They also offer a unique opportunity to come visit the tuktuk-drivers at home in their village and there a meal with them. We visited Dara and his family, and got to learn alot about his village and about Cambodian culture!

Babble guest house was brilliant. As our first place to stay in Cambodia with the family. Really relaxing and staff very friendly and helpfull and also their tuc tuc drivers we also brilliant and would take you to where ever you required. I would stay there again as a very enjoyable environment to stay at.

Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse was a welcome oasis, almost like coming home each night. Walking into the garden/lounge from the heat of the street was always a relief after long days of sight-seeing. The rooms could be a little sparse but comfortable enough. Would have appreciated a fridge although for the price we managed to survive without one. The food from the restaurant was excellent. One of the main attractions when researching accommodation in Siem Reap, and the reason we chose the Babel Guesthouse, was their commitment to sustainable tourism. On one night we ate dinner at another property where the rooms cost twice as much and our meals were either not available or came out overcooked. We were happy to get back to Babel. Would happily recommend Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse and would definitely hope to return one day.

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff is really kind and helpfull. Big rooms, basic but with all the comfort you need (bathshower / airco / toilet / bed) and the swimmingpool gives a good refreshement to escape the heat after a day in the city! The hotel arranged a private tour with a tuctuc and english speaking guide to Angkor Wat. He did it with a lot of enthousiasm! We did the small tour (Angkor Wat - Bayon - Ta Prohm) from am to 12:30pm.

We had such a lovely holiday because of this wonderful place. The staff were helpful in organising any trip we wanted to do and the drivers were friendly, reliable and trustworthy. They were able to advise on what to see and how to avoid scams. The rooms were fine and the food was lovely. I highly recommend this place!

It doesn’t get better than this. This guesthouse is pristine. Spotless. Well kept. Food was fantastic, service was great. I really think this is a perfect oasis if you’ve had a long day at the temples. Pool is great, air conditioning is fresh plus they are eco friendly. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cozy place. Rooms are nothing special, just everything you need to spend a night. Restaurant area is amazing, food is very good, prices also. I felt like in Bali. Guesthouse are environmentally friendly, a lot of information about their social activity. Highly recomend to spent at least a night.

This is for sure an amazing place, charming atmosphere provided by their guesthouse, hosts and employees all providing excellent service, always with a big smile. Big thank you to our tuck-tuck driver. Well worth a short or long stay. A big thank to all of you!

Really enjoyed our stay. Food great, staff was lovely and nice to sit by the pool after a day at the temples to relax. Sojeat our tour driver made the experience so enjoyable. Great English and so kind. Always there and always helpful. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic few days at Babel guest house. Beautiful interior, great swimming pool and beautiful people and food. Very practical location, so no problem walking into the town centre. This is a eco friendly guest house and they really look after the environment and their employees. We’ll be back one sunny day.
