We had a very pleasant stay at this Konak in the Sicevo gorge. Zarko is an excellent host, who gave us a warm welcome. We were hiking with 9 people on the Sultans Trail and stayed overnight in his place. Marko not only provides us with warm rooms, a hot shower and comfortable beds, but also with an exquisite evening meal an excellent breakfast. Well rested and fed, we could continue our hike through the Sicevo gorge, the next morning.

We booked this guest house as a stop over on our way to Croatia, the drive up to the accommodation is beautiful through some lovely villages along a stunning river and Mountains , when I arrived I was greeted by our wonderful host , he was in his winery and invited us in to look around his cherished display of local traditional artifacts and the amazing 200 year old winery , we sat and chatted over a few glasses on his wine and it was like visiting a family friend , we were shown to our very comfortable and clean room and after dropping off our bags we joined a few other guests on the patio for drinks and chat and our host joined us for a while , one of the other guests was a wine enthusiast and they were interested in the old local traditions it was just lovey , the host ( I'm so sorry I can't spell his name 😬) and his lovely wife put on an awsome meal for guests again everything was home made and traditional and just amazing, we were made so welcome and obviously there was wine ... the area itself is just stunning with wonderful walks and awsome views .... we loved our stay here and we will be back soon !
