Sehr gutes Hotelrestaurant. Es fühlt sich gut an, 5 Punkte, der Preis ist auch praktisch. Es gibt nichts zu essen nebenbei. Aber sehr ruhig. Die Umgebung ist sehr hoch, das nächste Mal haben Sie die Chance, wieder zu bleiben!

Unsere freundlichen Gastgeber, Diana und Noel, haben uns sehr willkommen gemacht und uns mit schönem Frühstück sowie ein paar kleinen Geschenke angeboten. Sie waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, interessant und interessante Gastgeber. Noel hat uns mit einem Film zusammengestellt, um jeden Abend zu sehen. Diana half uns, ein sehr schönes Restaurant auf unserer ersten Nacht zu finden. Sie sind lange Invercargill Bewohner und haben eine erstaunliche Arbeit gemacht, um seine alte Haus wiederherzustellen und zu reparieren. Wir haben uns wirklich in dem gefallen, was immer seltener ist, eine traditionelle B&B genossen.

SsesjjWe stayed in Rm 18 which was like a small house. Very roomy, with two bedrooms and a separate fully-equipped kitchen and lounge. Despite its size, the unit was warm and got the afternoon sun, so we were very comfortable here. The unit seemed to have recently been recarpeted so there was quite a strong new carpet smell. Would be a good place to base a family staying in Invercargill for a few days. It was a ~5 min walk to the Saucy Chef, which was a fantastic restaurant.

QQIDie Lage des Hotels ist gut, das Reisen ist bequem, die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr gut, oben, unten, wohnen Sie so komfortabel wie zu Hause, Küche, komplettes Geschirr, sehr geeignet für Familien, Freunde, um zusammen zu reisen. Das Parken ist sehr praktisch, Sie können an der Tür Ihres Zimmers parken und es ist kostenlos, sehr geeignet für Selbstfahrer-Touren. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe, Einkaufen ist bequem, der Gesamteindruck ist sehr gut, kostengünstig, es empfiehlt sich zu bleiben.

Lage ist nur aus der Stadt, aber bequem. Just down from Burger King, der handvoll war, als wir später angekommen waren.

Everything about this place was great; highly recommend. I rang to ask if we could check in early and they were totally fine with that; we managed to get in a couple of hours earlier than the normal check-in time, which was so good as we'd arrived in town early and we were tired and hungry. As soon as we walked into our motel unit we felt comfortable; it was clean, tidy and everything looked fresh - loved it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great stay!!

Lovely tidy room and great service from staff and owners. Was a small issue with the shower in the morning seemed to go super hot and then run cold before going back to normal temperature kind of like it is set on a communal system if someone turns the water on in another room it effects other showers. Apart from this one issue was a lovely stay and very convenient for what I was doing in Invercargill

GGuest UserI stayed here for a total of three nights while transiting between the Hump Ridge Track and Stewart Island in late December 2022. I booked the King Suite, a spacious studio apartment of penthouse proportions with sweeping views out across Invercargill and towards the Southland plains in one direction and Bluff in another. With the exception of the luxurious bathroom, the room was somewhat dated, and the circa 1980s shagpile carpet definitely needs replacing. However, it was still quite relaxing and comfortable. The highlight of staying here were the excellent staff and their exemplary level of support and service. I was abruptly woken in the early hours of the morning on my first night due to extremely loud guests in a neighbouring room who appeared to be in the hotel to drink and play in the gaming lounge. When I mentioned this to the staff at reception the next morning they promptly offered to move me to another room, which I accepted. Admittedly the second room was much more tired and worn than the King Suite, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets 5-star and I slept very well on the second night. Not only did they move me but they gave me, completely un-requested on my part, a partial refund to reflect the lower price difference of moving into the second room (the suite I initially stayed in is the most expensive room in the hotel). I greatly appreciated the management and reception's thoughtful responses to my need for a good night's sleep before starting out on the Hump Ridge Track. When I returned about 5 days later, I stayed in the King Suite, that I first been booked into, again. The noisy guests in neighbouring rooms had checked out, and the room was quiet and relaxing, just what I needed after completing the Hump Ridge Track. It is true that this hotel could do with a general refurbishment and renovation, but it represents good value for money with excellent staff, among the best I have met anywhere the world, and probably the friendliest and most helpful I've ever met in a New Zealand hotel. I also stayed, after returning from Stewart Island in early January, at the band new Langlands Hotel which, like the Kelvin Hotel, is also owned by the Invercargill Licensing Trust (ITL). While I thoroughly enjoyed the luxury at the Langlands I equally enjoyed the Kelvin and would happily stay here again.

GGuest UserWir haben vor kurzem zwei Nächte hier geblieben und unser Aufenthalt gründlich genossen. Einchecken war freundlich und schnell. Das Personal hat unsere vorherige Anfrage für ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock freundlich gewürdigt. Unser Zimmer 209 war sauber, komfortabel und ruhig. Die Lage des Quest ist großartig, direkt im Zentrum der Stadt mit zahlreichen Mahlzeiten in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung. Parkplatz ist kostenlos und ca. 30 Sekunden von der Haupttür entfernt. Wir hätten nicht nach besser gefragt und würde sicherlich wieder bleiben.

Lecking elektrische Jug , Haartrockner Schneiden bei Verwendung, Dusche Vorhang fehlen befestigt Vorhang Haken, alte Schlafzimmer Licht ohne Bügel auf der Wand und Ersatz geliefert, ein Doppel-Plug nicht genug für die drei Geräte in der Küche ohne Sicherheitsschmelzen d.h. Multiplug , sehr wenig Platz zum Waschen von Gerichten als Bänk sehr kleine und elektrische Geräte müssen zuvor entfernt werden, keine heißen und kalten Wasser-Etiketts auf Bad-Tapeten d.h. Tops der Tapeten fehlen, Dusche Kopf zu niedrig und nicht einstellbar, Rostfreie Stahl Dusche Basis ungleich und nicht auf einer Ebene Oberfläche d.h.. Großes Risiko, schleifen, schmutzigen Panel an der Wand neben dem Ofen, Vorhänge Hügel aus Loungedrappen fehlen, Eigentümer beantragten Zahlung vor der Service abgeschlossen, Einheit sehr laut als neben besetzten Hauptstraße mit schweren LKW Tag und Nacht.

GGUIYINGDas Hotel hat Frühstück. Es ist zwar nicht sehr reichhaltig, aber voller Nährstoffe und schon beim Einchecken auf dem Zimmer. Das Hotel hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz, aber das Auto kann auf der Straße vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Es ist von 18:00 bis 9:00 Uhr am nächsten Tag kostenlos.
