Sehr gutes Hotelrestaurant. Es fühlt sich gut an, 5 Punkte, der Preis ist auch praktisch. Es gibt nichts zu essen nebenbei. Aber sehr ruhig. Die Umgebung ist sehr hoch, das nächste Mal haben Sie die Chance, wieder zu bleiben!

Wir haben vor kurzem zwei Nächte hier geblieben und unser Aufenthalt gründlich genossen. Einchecken war freundlich und schnell. Das Personal hat unsere vorherige Anfrage für ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock freundlich gewürdigt. Unser Zimmer 209 war sauber, komfortabel und ruhig. Die Lage des Quest ist großartig, direkt im Zentrum der Stadt mit zahlreichen Mahlzeiten in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung. Parkplatz ist kostenlos und ca. 30 Sekunden von der Haupttür entfernt. Wir hätten nicht nach besser gefragt und würde sicherlich wieder bleiben.

I stayed here for a total of three nights while transiting between the Hump Ridge Track and Stewart Island in late December 2022. I booked the King Suite, a spacious studio apartment of penthouse proportions with sweeping views out across Invercargill and towards the Southland plains in one direction and Bluff in another. With the exception of the luxurious bathroom, the room was somewhat dated, and the circa 1980s shagpile carpet definitely needs replacing. However, it was still quite relaxing and comfortable. The highlight of staying here were the excellent staff and their exemplary level of support and service. I was abruptly woken in the early hours of the morning on my first night due to extremely loud guests in a neighbouring room who appeared to be in the hotel to drink and play in the gaming lounge. When I mentioned this to the staff at reception the next morning they promptly offered to move me to another room, which I accepted. Admittedly the second room was much more tired and worn than the King Suite, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets 5-star and I slept very well on the second night. Not only did they move me but they gave me, completely un-requested on my part, a partial refund to reflect the lower price difference of moving into the second room (the suite I initially stayed in is the most expensive room in the hotel). I greatly appreciated the management and reception's thoughtful responses to my need for a good night's sleep before starting out on the Hump Ridge Track. When I returned about 5 days later, I stayed in the King Suite, that I first been booked into, again. The noisy guests in neighbouring rooms had checked out, and the room was quiet and relaxing, just what I needed after completing the Hump Ridge Track. It is true that this hotel could do with a general refurbishment and renovation, but it represents good value for money with excellent staff, among the best I have met anywhere the world, and probably the friendliest and most helpful I've ever met in a New Zealand hotel. I also stayed, after returning from Stewart Island in early January, at the band new Langlands Hotel which, like the Kelvin Hotel, is also owned by the Invercargill Licensing Trust (ITL). While I thoroughly enjoyed the luxury at the Langlands I equally enjoyed the Kelvin and would happily stay here again.

My friends said stay at the Langlands it’s so good. I stayed one night in a clean & very comfortable suite on level 4. I enjoyed pre dinner cocktails at the 360 Bar with friends then we ate from the new menu at MELD restaurant. The food was exceptional. The service was efficient & staff were respectful & well mannered. My friends met me for breakfast the next morning in the hotel. I’ll return for more of the hospitality! Thank you

Me and my family felt at home 3 bedroom accomadation all amenities incl. Big size Tv, Washing Machine etc...was modern, Top of the line Appliances, New feel and loved the Shower. Rooms decent size loved everything about it would love too get my house done like that. Only downfall was King Size bed was Hard not my comfort overall lovely even the Reception lady.

Die Tür ist der Parkplatz. Wenn wir dorthin gehen, leben die Ausländer mehr. Wir werden voraussichtlich früh anreisen und können früher einchecken. Informieren Sie uns beim Einchecken über die Orte, an denen Inver schwimmen kann. Wir haben es für zwei Tage eingestellt und am nächsten Tag das Zimmer gepackt.

Komfortable für einen Nachtaufenthalt. Auf dem Weg Süd. Warm und komfortabel. Freundliches Personal. In einer, Studio-Einheit, die alles hatte, was wir brauchten. Lage ist nur aus der Stadt, aber bequem. Just down from Burger King, der handvoll war, als wir später angekommen waren.

Unsere freundlichen Gastgeber, Diana und Noel, haben uns sehr willkommen gemacht und uns mit schönem Frühstück sowie ein paar kleinen Geschenke angeboten. Sie waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, interessant und interessante Gastgeber. Noel hat uns mit einem Film zusammengestellt, um jeden Abend zu sehen. Diana half uns, ein sehr schönes Restaurant auf unserer ersten Nacht zu finden. Sie sind lange Invercargill Bewohner und haben eine erstaunliche Arbeit gemacht, um seine alte Haus wiederherzustellen und zu reparieren. Wir haben uns wirklich in dem gefallen, was immer seltener ist, eine traditionelle B&B genossen.
