Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Selbst zum Ende der Zeit wird noch aufgefüllt und es ist reichlich vorhanden. Leider ist uns im Zimmer etwas unter das Bett gefallen. Dabei haben wir gesehen, dass dort nicht geputzt war. Ansonsten ist der Service sehr gut und die Zimmer sind neu und modern.

We had a nice stay here the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean although in my opinion the furniture and décor is a bit dated and could do with updating however it is functional. The balconies are large and sunny. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice we only had breakfast once so don't know if there are different items daily . The location its about 10 minutes from the centre for bars and restaurants and the ferry terminal and about the same to the train station in the opposite direction, 5minutes to Ins supermarket at the bottom of the street and around 15- 20 minutes to larger supermarkets. So its pretty central for everything. Disliked · Air conditioning very noisy had to turn it off at night and not very good during the day. Poor lighting in the room at night. Needs better access to the refuge bins. Soundproofing could be better. Hairdryer poor.

The good: the view from the room was fabulous, the included breakfast was wonderful, and the attached restaurant was very good. The one thing to be careful of (and it is on the check in notes is to not leave your door to the patio open, as gnats WILL attack). The great: we had a train to Florence scheduled for 0653 on day of departure. The night before, I asked about a cab because I wanted to be sure to get there on time. The lady working the desk, said...”no problem, 5 mins”, so since it's only a 5 minute ride to the train station, I didn't think much of it. Well the next morning, I get down at 0620, there are no cabs available. The staff kept trying to get in touch, but none were responding. We were caught in a catch-22 where walking would have been impractical but the cabs said they'd be available in 10 mins. Eventually, we were stood up by the cabs and the staff on duty drove us to the station in their own vehicle. I can't express how absolutely grateful I (and my wife) are for the hospitality. They went so far above and beyond what was necessary, and even more, saved us from complications that would have messed up our trip for days. Thank you again for being so gracious and helpful.

Das Hotel liegt in einer tollen Lage für die alte Stadt. Literalmente 2 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt und Sie sind an der Wasserfront. Wir waren etwas besorgt, vorherige Bewertungen über Lärm von einer benachbarten Tankstelle zu lesen, aber wir merkten es nicht einmal mit unserem Zimmer in diese Richtung. Ich konnte es nicht sehen, wenn Sie nicht nach ihm suchen. Das Hotel war sauber und das Personal war großartig, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück war fantastisch mit viel zu essen und aus wählen. Der Lady-Frokostservice war immer hilfsbereit und sorgen dafür, dass alles aufgehoben wurde. Unser Zimmer war oben das Frühstückszimmer, so dass ich jeden Morgen aufwacht zum Geruch von frisch gebackenen Croissants. Wir reservierten ein Familienzimmer, das tatsächlich 2 miteinander verbundene Zimmer ist, die für uns gut war, da es uns 2 Badezimmer und etwas mehr Platz gab. Insgesamt fanden wir es einen tollen Ort zu bleiben und gute Wert für Geld

We weren’t bothered that the hotel was described as dated, having read other reviews, as often that has its own charm in Italian hotels. Unfortunately this hotel isn’t run by Italians so that’s where the charm vanishes. Run by some very rude and arrogant men it is strange and inhospitable. We definitely felt uncomfortable as two women friends. The breakfast buffet was poor with limited choice and they have a strange practice of leaving all the dirty crockery etc until the very end of the service period. So you sit surrounded by dirty plates on all the tables.

EEvgeniya GalushkinaWir hatten eine tolle Zeit, wir wurden ein gutes sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf den See gegeben. Wir genossen Frühstück, vielfältig und lecker ! Ein wunderschönes Restaurant auf der Villa zum Abendessen mit der Küche des Autors. Von den Nebenstöcken ist Wasser nicht im Zimmer, nur in einer Minibar in kleinen Zahlen. Andererseits gibt es einen Strand ! Empfohlen

NnotsakWir kamen nach der Renovierung wieder und waren begeistert, wie toll das Hotel geworden ist : moderner Touch im Innenbereich, cooler Rooftop-Pool mit Rundblick über die Altstadt und den Gardasee. Schönes Zimmer ( das Bad ist etwas eng ) mit Balkon und Seeblick. Kleiner Vorgarten mit Lounge-Möbeln zum Chillen oder Frühstücken ( typisch italienisch ). Wenn man gut essen will, muß man das Haus nicht verlassen und bleibt im Restaurant ”Philo”. Das Personal ist kompetent und freundlich. Das Hotel besticht durch seine zentrale Lage und durch die Symbiose aus alt und modern.

GGastnutzerOveral a good experience at this hotel. Positive points: - very nice jacuzzi on the rooftop. You can reserve per half an hour slots. - very clean rooms - good location if you want to stay in the south of Garda - good breakfast, but many pies and cakes. I find it difficult to understand why Italians eat that at breakfast. There are many other options served though, therefore this doesn’t pose an issue. Negative points: - no fridge in the room. Especially during hot summer it’s difficult - booking said parking included for free but that’s not true. There is parking down the street and that’s what they actually mean. Their own parking garage is 50€ a night. I don’t find it correct that this isn’t advertized correctly. I heard several guests complain about this. It would be better to communicate this correctly. - their elevator is really scary. It’s old and doesn’t feel safe. Sometimes you also have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to arrive. You also can’t take the stairs as alternitive- we searched but couldn’t find another way to the rooftop. Besides these few negative points the hotel is actually great. I would recommend it as the room is nice, clean & with a balcony where you can relax.

GGastnutzerBein Frühstück gab es nur Kaffee aus dem Automaten, eines Vier Sterne Hotel s nicht würdig. Einer der zwei Kaffeeautomaten war defekt und ein Kellner versuchte, erfolglos im Schein einer Handyleuchte sie zu reparieren. Die Mini Aufbackbrötchen waren steinhart.Aufschnitt war Massen Discounter Ware. Angestellte essen vom selben Buffet wie die Gäste. Für die Gäste liegen Zangen für den Aufschnitt bereit. Soweit alles ok, doch was nicht ok ist ,ist das die Angestellten alles mit den Händen , ohne Zangen anfassen. Das ist einfach unhygienisch! Es wurde nur spärlich nachgelegt. Der Dach Wirlpool war nicht nutzbar da abgedeckt. Die sehr schöne Dachterrasse hat leider keine Bar. Für Getränke Bestellungen ist steht ein kleines Telefon bereit. Der Pool vor dem Hotel ist klein und sehr kalt, da immer neues Frischwasser zugeführt wird. Die Zimmer sind gut aber im Bad gibt es sehr wenige Ablagen. Eine große ebenerdige Dusche, inklusive Regenwalddusche ist vorhanden, leider ist der Wasserdruck sehr schwach.Das WC ist viel zu niedrig ,ca. 30 cm über dem Boden. Für ältere Gäste sehr beschwerlich. Das Hotel liegt zwar nur ca. 1 km vom Hafen und der Altstadt entfernt aber die Strasse ist sehr steil und bei Hitze für ältere Menschen eine echte Tortour. Der Balkon ist unsicher, da vom nächsten Zimmer nur mit einem Blumenkasten getrennt. Im Hotel ist alles auf italienisch und nur eine Angestellte sprach etwas deutsch. Im TV gibt es ab Kanal 400 einige deutsche Programme, was aber leider nicht kommuniziert wurde und nur durch Zufall gefunden wurde. Das Abendessen war drittklassig und hat weder uns noch anderen Gästen geschmeckt,war eben drittklassig. Zimmergröße und Einbauschränke sind ok. Es gibt keine Kleider bzw. Garderobenhaken im Zimmer. Das kostenlose WLan ist sehr schnell. Alles in allem wird das Hotel 4 Sternen nicht gerecht ! Am Ende unseres Aufenthalts , wurde sehr direkt darauf hingewiesen, das ein Trinkgeld erwartet wird. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

HHabsi25Die Lage des Hotels ist in einer Passage an der Strasse und irritierte uns im ersten Augenblick. Sobald wir aber das Hotel betreten hatten, war der Eindruck sehr gut, alles neu eingerichtet, sehr sauber und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig, schön neu eingerichtet und sauber. Wir hatten Frühstück mit dabei, diese wurde uns aufgrund Covid19 aufs Zimmer serviert. Leider hier allerdings kein Tischchen vorhanden, sondern nur die Ablagefläche beim Kühlschrank, reichte uns aber vollkommen. Das Frühstück kann man sich am Vortag selbst zusammenstellen und muss nur ankreuzen, wieviel Brot, Marmelade, Wurst, Früchte uvm. haben möchte. Klimaanlage geht sehr gut, Fernsehprogramm nur italienisch (ist im Urlaub aber egal), Minibar gefüllt und hier die Preise absolut OK. Kleiderkasten gibt es keinen, dafür aber eine Stange mit Kleiderbügel. Ins Zentrum sind es ca. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vorm Hotel.
