I stayed at Hotel Igea in July 2022 and found it very difficult to find any fault. My room wasn't anything superior, just a normal room, but found it more than spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious. The curtains were very thick to ensure darkness when the sun comes up, large HD TV, mini-fridge which was very welcome in the climate and bed was comfy. The only negative sides about the hotel room was one or two areas of dust in high places which had clearly been continually missed and no bedside power sockets for charging devices. Staff were very friendly and professional, were more than happy to hold my luggage after checking out and the hotel restaurant is also an excellent standard with large, good quality portions. Very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a good value for money. If I return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again.

Von aussen und in der Lobby wirkt das Hotel sehr edel. Die Flure vor den Zimmern sind direkt sehr ungemütlich und wirken eher wie Gänge in einer Schule oder Behörde. Im Zimmer selbst wirkt das Mobiliar sehr hochwertig, schaut aber näher hin sieht man dass es sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist, sehr abgegriffen und verschlissen. Der Tisch war voll mit Wasserkocher und Hotelunterlagen, sodass ein Arbeiten dort kaum möglich war. Bei dem Fön im Bad war das Gehäuse teilweise offen und Kabel schauten raus. Was ich richtig ungewöhnlich fand, war dass es keine code Karten, wie heute üblich, als Zimmerschlüssel ausgegeben wurden, sondern ein normaler Schlüssel mit einem riesigen, schweren Anhänger. Wenn man kurz rausgehen wollte, ohne den Schlüssel abzugeben hat man diesen kaum in die Hosentasche stecken können. Es erinnert ein bisschen an die Tankstellen, bei denen ein Toilettensitz oder ein großer Schraubenschlüssel am Toilettenschlüssel angebracht ist, damit dieser nicht versehentlich mitgenommen wird. Schwierig ar auch, dass nciht alle Mitarbeiter Englisch sprachen, so musste man dem Abendportier die Zimmernummer aufschreiben, damit man den richtigen Schlüssel ausgehändigt bekam. Unterm Strich: für 1-2 Übernachtungen ok, aber ein Modernisierung währe dringend nötig!

Una bella esperienza davvero, le stanze sono piccole ma molto pulite. Abbiamo apprezzato i materassi nuovi e comodi e la possibilità di regolare il riscaldamento autonomamente. Ottima la colazione a buffet, consiglio però di allungare leggermente l’orario della colazione, farebbe comodo. Abbiamo cenato per caso nel ristorante dell’hotel perché eravamo stanchi. E’ stata una scelta fortunata perché è davvero ottimo, abbiamo saputo dopo che è infatti segnalato dalle guide anche dalla Michelin. Torneremo sicuramente!

Ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel, bei dem das Personal freundlich den Wünschen der Gäste entgegenkommt. So wurde uns z. B. trotz später Anreise noch die Möglichkeit zum Parken unseres Fahrzeugs eingeräumt. Das Frühstück war zwar einfach gehalten ( im niedrigen Übernachtungspreis enthalten ), aber ausreichend, fehlende Sachen wurden zügig aufgefüllt. Freies Internet sehr gut verfügbar. Bedingt durch die Lage ( Bahnhofsnähe ) ist es in den Zimmern zu dieser Seite hin bei geöffnetem Fenster laut. Man sollte versuchen, eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit zur Hofseite zu erhalten.

Lokales pub sehr in der Nähe mit großem Bier & Burger. Sehr vernünftige Preise! Nicht im Stadtzentrum, aber die ganze Tagesbus- und U-Bahn-Karte ist 3Euros und ein Bushalte innerhalb von 4 Minuten zu Fuß. Werden zurück, wenn in Brescia.

Did not extend diamond breakfast benefit to my family although I paid for 2 rooms (the manager did the next morning but the check in host made a huge deal of it which seemed unnecessary). The restaurant on-site seems oddly formal/fancy for the type of hotel and there are no other food options conveniently located. We asked for another pillow and it took 2 hours. For a brand new hotel the handles and things were already broken. Overall could have been a great new hotel but is a total bust in my opinion.

Das Zimmer und das Hotel an sich hat einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Ausstattung war gut, das Zimmer sehr sauber und was ich wichtig finde, es hatte im Vergleich zum vorherigen Novotel in Mailand, keinen Teppichboden. Würde ich für einen Besuch in Brescia weiterempfehlen. Der Privatparkplatz war auch kostenlos dabei. Essen allerdings hat uns im Hotel nicht überzeugt. Ein Obstteller mit einer handvoll Obst für 8 Euro...

GGuest UserI have been to Brescia once before and stayed in a fantastic boutique hotel, the Locanda Delle Mercanzie however it was fully booked and instead I stayed at the Albergo Orologio which is not that far away. This traditional styled hotel is in an excellent location wight in the heart of the centre of the old town and with a huge array of restaurants and bars within just a few seconds of walking! It’s also only a five or six minute walk with a wheeled bag from the Vittoria Metro station. Very convenient. Check-in was easy, the receptionist greeting with a smiling face, giving advice, telling you about the hotel etc. It always makes you feel better when you arrive at a hotel and the staff are so warm and friendly! I had booked a single room but ended up in a double room. Wifi was excellent, a fridge in the room, toiletries, plenty of plug points, air-conditioning (although turned off at this time of year), a TV, seat and desk, a small safe (passports and small items…too small for a laptop). The room and bathroom were very clean. The furniture was old but it suited the character of the hotel. Old style, almost boutique like. Breakfast was delicious. Superb coffee and made for you by the waitress. Buffet style cereals, yoghurts, breads and croissants, cake cold meats and cheese. Maybe not the greatest variety but it was all tasty and I enjoyed it. Overall I thought this hotel was quaint, it was convenient, it was clean, very well priced and the staff were friendly. I would definitely consider staying again if I return to Brescia.

At check in I asked about scheduling a massage for the following morning. Was told they no longer offer them. I asked about the pool & jacuzzi -was told they are 20 euro-somehow I missed this in hotel info…. But! It’s 10 euro because the Turkish bath is broken🙄. At 10Am I head to the reception desk in suit/cover (no robes)to ask where jacuzzi is? I’m told it must be reserved!? And its avail at noon (check-in gal said it was open at 9🤔). Not booked but they have to prepare it…ie turn on the heat? I’m very disappointed. What poor hotel practice to advertise massages and pools and jacuzzis and then they are basically unavailable. Finally no coffee in the room -bought a tablespoon of coffee for 2 euro only to drop it trying to fumble w/ the keycard which although my fault, further made this whole morning a disappointment. We are here 2 more nights & if our friends in Brescia hadn’t suggested this hotel- I would change. Finally beds are very hard.

This Hotel (which is a Motel not a Hotel) is the worst nightmare I have ever experienced in a lifetime spent traveling the world over! Parking under the Hotel “at your own risk. The Hotel takes no responsibilities for thefts.” The A/C was not working at all - in a night of scorching heat (30 degrees Celsius), I called the Front Desk several times, they always told me they would look into it and resolve the issue and would get back to me/never did! DIDN’T SLEEP ALL NIGHT LONG because of the heat and stickiness in the room! In the morning I tried to take a shower: ONLY COLD WATER in the room! In the morning I went to complain at the Reception: very rude and arrogant personnel. At 7:15am I showed up at the Breakfast Buffet, literally NOTHING WAS LEFT! They told me “because they had a Group of Chinese that just had breakfast”. Please NO B.S. - I have never seen such an embarrassing scene (for the Hotel!) all my life!

GGastnutzerDie Zimmer waren sehr sauber, gemütlich und das Personal lächelte und freut sich, zu helfen. Die Eincheckung war ziemlich schnell, wie die Auscheckung. Das Gebiet, in dem es sich befindet, ist ziemlich bequem, da es ein Supermarkt nahe an ihm gibt. Danke für diesen erstaunlichen Aufenthalt!
