Hotels mit Abhol- und Bringservice in San Andres Island

We are a family of 3 and stayed for 5 nights. We also had our baby travelling with us. The check in process was not quick and took way too long. As I do not speak Spanish, it was very difficult to communicate as they did not hire very many bilingual staff. Very lucky I had my Colombian spouse and family with me. This resort is very much geared to Spanish speaking visitors only. As this is the so called “best” resort on the island, you would think they are expecting visitors from all over the world. The resort stated that it had multiple restaurants, yet nobody working there told you anything about the restaurants or how to even reserve a spot. Did I mention yet that only one restaurant has air-conditioning? This will be the only place on the resort that you find an air conditioner, other than your room. After attempting to sign into the extremely bad Wi-Fi, I was able to self teach myself how to look into booking a restaurant. Turns out if you don’t book it by 10 AM then you will not get a spot for dinner which we’re 6:30pm or 8:30pm options. But this has nothing to do with space or occupancy because when we did eventually have a dinner at the restaurant, there was plenty of seats still open. Maybe this is because nobody knows how to book a spot? I digress. The rooms were decent, clean and the air conditioning functioned very well. This was a plus. The buffet was decent and had a variety of food each day. Unfortunately, the entire week we were there, they did not turn any of the large fans on so you were basically eating in a sauna of 40° and 90% humidity for each meal. I love some heat and that is the purpose of going on a vacation like this, but you would expect at least during meal time to have some circulating air while you relax off the beach. Especially with a younger baby, some time away from the heat to cool off would have been nice and healthy for the baby. The beach and the water views were some of the best in the world. The island sure lives up to its natural beauty and the people we very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, however, this resort is very very limited with entertainment options. You absolutely get what you pay for on this one.

La atención de Marysol, Luís, Elizabeth y el personal de la hostería muy agradable, todo limpio, la comida muy rica, a pesar de lo retirado del centro, usamos el transporte público y nos permitió llegar a todos los puntos de la Isla rápido y de forma económica además que conocimos varios lugares gracias a este tipo de transporte, el amanecer y el atardecer desde este punto de la Isla es bellisimo. Esperamos volver pronto, que gran experiencia SAI.

Ich war geplant, in diesem Hotel für 4 Tage und 3 Nächte es war q Gruppe von 9 von uns mit 5 Zimmern. Sobald wir zum Haupteingang kamen, bemerkte ich, dass das Gebäude ein wenig runtergelaufen war. Als wir uns von der Tür näherten, war es voll von Handprints und schmutzig. Wir haben es den Vorteil des Zweifels gegeben. Wir haben unsere Zimmerschlüssel erhalten und der Albtraum begann. Mein Zimmer war speziell das schlimmste von allen. Es hatte Moll, auf den Wänden und stickig geurte, die aus dem Klimaanlage herauskommt. Die Gürtel waren schmutzig und voll von Moll, das Badezimmer war schmutzig es vorheriges Haar überall. Die Möbel können Sie den Staub von weit entfernt sehen. Ich bat um eine Umstellung auf ein anderes Zimmer und die Antwort war, wir in voller Kapazität. Wir haben beschlossen, etwas zu trinken bei der Bar, und der Kühlschrank, wo das Eis schmutzig gehalten wird, der Pool stolze alle schmutzigen voll von Moll und gebrochen. Ich habe sofort meinen Reisebüro angerufen, weil ich nicht mehr eine Sekunde an diesem Ort zu verbringen wollte. Leider würden wir nicht ein Hotel mit 5 Zimmern bis nächsten Morgen finden. Ich habe nicht in meinem Zimmer geschlafen, weil es nicht atmend war. Ich habe mit einem Manager am nächsten Morgen gesprochen und ich bot ihr an, alle Bilder zu zeigen, die ich habe aus allem, was ich beschwert habe, und sie hat gerade gesagt - ich glaube Ihnen. Ich habe eine Erstattung versprochen, außer für die Nacht, die wir dort verblieben. Ich warte noch auf die Erstattung. Bitte sehen Sie die Bilder.
