Somerset Hotels in Shenzhen

Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur 3 Minuten zum Coco Park. Das Zimmer war modern, sehr sauber und geräumig und hatte einen Balkon! Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt! Das Personal an der Rezeption ist EXTREM nett und hilfsbereit, besonders LILY :) Beim Auschecken bekamen wir auch zwei kleine Geschenke als Erinnerungsstücke! Was für eine süße Überraschung!

I was happy to stay at the Somerset Qplex SZ.  My stay was long (about 2wks) so I experience different rooms on different floors.  All the rooms were new, clean and well decorated.  The guest lounge and the gym were large (never crowded) and well furnished.  The gym and yoga were well equipped including towel (which was a nice touch).  However, I wish there was a pool.  Also, I found the mattress super hard so I asked for an extra duvet to be place on top, hence the 4 star.  The breakfast was good with buffet style selection and cooking corner to order fresh items.  The coffee was strong (for china) which was good surprise.   The location, while there isn't train station nearby but everything is a short didi ride away.  I can walk to OCT within 20-30min which is nice.   The hotel is next to Qplex shopping center which has a good variety, from cheap (local bun shop, Subways, Macdonald) to middle to luxury restaurants and coffee shops.    I can easily satisfy most of my meals within the mall which is very convenient.   There are couple of massage place nearby too.  Best of all was the staff.  Everyone I met (from front desk, to cleaning crew to security) was so kind and helpful.  I needed a very specific regulatory documentation  and they went above and beyond to help me.  I like to shout out to Jason, Feya and Jaycee for making my stay such a pleasant experience. Would I stay here again: yes 100%. Would I recommend to a friend: yes 100%.   

Somerset Wanxia is located relatively near to the Shenzhen airport. My first impression was the cleanliness, and pleasant ambience that was created. Reception is in the 21st floor. Friendly and pleasant staff helped to check in quickly as it was already late in the evening. It has all the amenities a solo traveller might need… gym, yoga room etc. It also has a direct access to B1 which lead directly to the Metro. And crossing the road, access to 24 hours Lawson, local fruits stalls and eateries. For travellers who enjoy moments of peace and tranquility, this is the go to place. It’s not a hotel but a services apartment. So one can enjoy the washing machine, microwave etc within the comfort of your room; and also the use of the bath tub. it is located ~40 min from 东门老街，～30min from 华强北 via DiDi. Want to order takeaways even in the wee hours of the morning? Somerset uses a robot to deliver your food / night snacks straight to your room! You don’t even need to step out to collect. As someone who is sensitive to cigarettes smoke, the entire place is very pleasant and there aren’t any cigarettes smell; very suitable for those who doesn’t like the smell of cigarettes. Request for a high level room (up to 20th floor) to enjoy the night view of Shenzhen. The staff have been very helpful and patient - special mention to Kathy and Frank whom had made my stay a delightful one; and also Kelly whom I could see trying to continuously improve the customer experience so that all guests can feel welcome and have a delightful stay at Somerset Wanxia. Definitely my preferred choice of accommodation in Shenzhen. Thank you!
