Die Einrichtungen sind staubig, heruntergekommen und alt. Risse in den Wänden und Staub auf den Möbeln. Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte nicht, also musste ich den Tankdeckel abnehmen, um zu spülen. Warmwasser ist ok. Das WLAN im Zimmer war an allen drei Tagen meines Aufenthalts kaputt, also musste ich zum Pool gehen, um das Internet zu nutzen. WLAN wurde nach dem Ausfall nicht sofort repariert. Das Frühstück ist einfach (Ei, Brot, gebackene Bohnen, Pilze aus der Dose, Eiche, Orangensaft, Kaffee/Tee, Banane, Papaya …) und sollte ab 7 Uhr morgens verfügbar sein, ist aber erst zwischen 7:45 und 8 Uhr fertig.

Das Hotel ist normalerweise nicht luxuriös genug, aber die Lage ist im Zentrum. Das Zimmer ist zu groß, kann 4 Personen beherbergen, empfehlenswert

Il faut fuir cet hôtel. La chambre et la,salle de bains n est pas digne d un hôtel. La chambre n est pas nettoyé aentre deux nuits et on vous donne une serviette pour deux .c est salle et aucune commodite comme dans la désignation . Le petit dejeuner est dégoûtant sans choix , sans jus, fruits. Les chaises au bord de la piscine sont des pièges à vous tordre le coup.

Dieses Hotel sollte gemieden werden. Ich weiß nicht, wie Reiseveranstalter in Großbritannien dieses Hotel anbieten können. Sie haben es offensichtlich nicht inspiziert. Die Zimmer sind schrecklich und seit Jahren nicht renoviert worden. Meines war gefährlich mit einer Duschwand aus Glas, völlig unsicher, kein Management, keine Informationen außer der Aussage, dass es Frühstück von 7 bis 10 Uhr gibt und wir dann um 7.20 Uhr zum Frühstück runtergehen. Kein Frühstücksservice, das passierte an 3 Tagen, obwohl der Eigentümer versprochen hatte, dass das geregelt würde! Wir mussten den ganzen Tag ohne Frühstück ausgehen! Man hat keine Ahnung, wer die Leute sind, keine Uniformen oder Abzeichen, nur junge gambische Männer. Wer sind sie, was sind ihre Jobs, arbeiten sie dort? Als wir eines Morgens das Hotel verließen, wurden wir von einem dieser Männer angesprochen, der sagte, wir schuldeten Geld für Essen, das wir hatten, und uns die Straße entlang folgte und schrie und verlangte, dass wir zurückkommen, um zu bezahlen. Total peinlich und falsch, da wir nie etwas gegessen hatten! Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in Gambia, wo wir die Vögel fotografiert haben, aber übernachten Sie einfach nicht in diesem Hotel.

Die Zimmer sind feucht und riechen muffig. Um die Klimaanlage einzuschalten, muss man an der Rezeption nach der Fernbedienung fragen, da diese nicht im Zimmer ist. Die Türen passen nicht so gut, es gibt keinen Fernseher, obwohl die Kabel hängen.

Ich habe vom 8. bis zum 23. Dezember im Badala Park Hotel übernachtet. Das Personal ist sehr gut, die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Das einzige, was ich schlecht fand, war das Frühstück, jeden Tag das Gleiche: Wassermelone und Banane, wenn man Vegetarier ist ... dann Hauptfrühstück mit Brot, Pilzen oder Bohnen, gehackter Wurst ... Porree ... ich habe seit 2003 oft im Badala Park Hotel übernachtet ... seit es von neuen Leuten übernommen wurde, hat das Hotel einen tollen Downhill-Look ... ich werde das Badala Park Hotel nicht mehr buchen ... es ist eine Schande, ich habe dieses Hotel früher geliebt ... Jan 2024 Worst hotel...very bad The clue is the first 3 letters of its name BAD Rooms dated almost slum like. Spoke with owner, he was over from Canada and agreed it was bad and was hoping to improve things...nice Gambian chap but not a hope this will improve. Shower not fixed to wall, charged £20 to use room safe. Breakfast rarely available at stated times....disgusting again more like soup kitchen.

Enjoyed our stay at Badala, rooms cleaned daily, always hot water for showers , breakfast was fine, pool clean , a few resident cats which I can’t wait to see again on my return in November. Kotu is my fave place. Have stayed in kololi a few times and had stuff taken from my room. Never at Badala has this happened to me. So yes I will be returning to this hotel.

I stay at this hotel for 2 weeks This hotel should not be on any travel agent list for people to visit on holiday The breakfast was horrendous fit for pigs The rooms were not very nice the furniture was dated the bathrooms Smelled like a sewer I had to be moved 4 times because of this the tv did not work for the whole time I was there The pool was dirty there cats running around in the corridor the electric kept cutting out every day the shower also cut out with electric it was a horrendous stay at this hotel avoid it like the plague

Just returned back this Weds from a 2 week stay. Worse place i have ever stayed in. On our first night changed rooms 3 times. First room was told it was a De Luxe room, mould on the walls, tv didn't work, after complaining, was moved to a room a few doors down.(2nd room). Went to get showered at around 11.30pm, streams of dirty water came up from the bathroom drain and covered the entire bathroom floor and came gushing into the bedroom. Had to quickly stop the flow by putting the hotel towels down to stem the flow. I immediately complained and was moved to our 3rd room. The tv didn't work as were the tv's in the 2 previous rooms. The mirror on the dresser had a deep crack across it. It was a complete disaster, electric constantly going of, sometimes there was no water from the shower or hand wash basin, the breakfast was abysmal, half a banana, hard bread, sausages cut up in small pieces. Certainly no choices of breakfast menu. After discovering this, I never touched the breakfast, bees in the hallway entrances, cats everywhere. We never unpacked our clothes from the suitcase. The wardrobe had mould in it, my partners coat had white fur (mould) on the sleeves. The fridge which of course came with a cost was so dirty, I had to ask a staff member to clean it. By the way I had made up my mind from the offset that I wouldn't be paying for it. There were always people wondering around, mainly young men, so difficult to decipher who were workers and who weren't. Countless excuses of why the tv's weren't working, from the tv operating from a different system, to calling out the technician and waiting for him to come, to waiting for a part to arrive from England. This place is nothing short of a knocking shop. Enter at your peril.

This Hotel is the worst hotel i have stayed in, the TV wasn't working, i was promised on several occasions it would be fixed, we was told we was in a delux room which was a joke, the floor tiles in the bathroom were very slippy, i asked on many occasions for a shower mat i never got one. This Hotel needs a good revamp. If your someone who likes the swimming pool, there is a chance it maybe full with children, they tend to use it at a cost. The only good thing about this Hotel is the staff are friendly and the bar was cheap compared to other places.

I have been to Badala Park many times over the years but not for a long time, everything was good until my last night, i had put D1000 in my passport to pay my fee at the airport, i needed to go to my room to get my charger & i was watching my friends rucksack while he was in the Mosque & breaking his fast, so i asked the bar man Ousman to look after the bags while i nipped to my room he put them behind the bar, the next morning when i was sorting all my things out i checked my passport & the money was gone !!! i told his boss but they are related & nothing was done, i will never go back again to Badala all the time he is working there.
