GreenTree Inn Sedona

First, the positive: 1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful. 2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging. 3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs. 4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened. 5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly. 6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room. 7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity. Now, the negative: 1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. 2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2" inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno. 3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent. 4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up. Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.

There were no instructions on how use the heater so the temperature in the front got down to 38 degrees. The pull out bed in front room was very uncomfortable!

We visited with a group for a birthday. Rooms were clean .Staff went out of the way to keep rooms and parking close to each other's. Had sufficient truck and trailer parking

The staff were so friendly and helpful with property and area tips. The rooms were clean, and the pool/hot tub/fire pit area was wonderful! We swam in the heated pool on a 39 degree night! Our balcony side had an amazing mountain view. Breakfast was included and was perfect. Loved it!

Nice place to stay for the night. The sign to find the Inn could have been easier to see. Breakfast was minimal, but had enough choices.

Overall the place was great. Breakfast was lack luster and the warmer to keep the omelettes warm did not keep them warm. Our room was missing the TV remote, minute issue really, it wasn't until the last night we were there that we noticed.

The rooms and the views look nothing like as advertised, especially for the price of the room per night would not really have a complaint. If they would’ve been upfront it said deluxe king room with Mountain View, and first thing you see when you look out the window is the parking lot. Did not reflect the pictures

Nice are, clean. Check in is via a kiosk in the lobby with someone who is not in the Hotel via internet, not a convenient check in option. Breakfast is minimal but expected.

The only thing we did not like was the virtual check in and because the weather was cool the breakfast area was too small.
