Good hotel but very very small rooms Very expensive , too expensive

We only came for a drink but stayed for a couple of cocktails. Janis (apologies if spelt incorrectly) was very welcoming and spent time chatting to my wife and I, mainly about our football teams (Bolton - me PAOK -him and his family in Australia. He is a credit to this hotel and he also makes the best Pina Colada's we have ever experienced. If you are nearby you need to head to the pool bar to try one of these, he also does a mean Negroni and Margarita. Very pleasant

Better late than never! Me and my wife went on a honeymoon during first days of august and we were a bit terrified beforehand because we never travel. Thankfully we made a right choice with the destination and more importantly the hotel! The hotel staff were superb and always there if we needed anything. We sent an email to the hotel a few months before in order to reserve the honeymoon suite and oh boy the suite had EVERYTHING. The view, private outside pool, breakfast served to your room you name it. We had an absolutely wonderful trip and we stayed there for 7 nights straight. I want to thank the staff starting from the receptionists to the poolside staff, (lets go Sharif!), poolbar restaurant manager and finally the piccolo who carried all our luggage during the crazy heat. If we had the chance to come back tomorrow, I would be packing already!

Just returned from a weeks stay at On the Rocks and my first trip to Santorini. The hotel is perfect in every way! It is located in Imerovigli, which is a beautiful and less crowded resort with stunning caldera views. You can walk into Fira, as we did and get a bus (which is actually a coach) for 2 euros- which we did on our way back to save walking back uphill in the heat. The hotel itself is spotless with the most amazing views, I don’t think any photo can do it justice. The breakfasts were great, as were the lunches we had here. Lots of lovely restaurants within a short walk too! The staff were all outstanding, probably one of the best in any hotel I have ever stayed at. A perfect holiday and a hotel I would highly recommend.

This was a solo trip, which I promised myself 30 years ago when I first visited Santorini. I stayed at On The Rocks cliffside hotel for 10 days in July/August. Suite 13 is the prettiest in the whole hotel, with beautiful cerise pink bougainvillea flowers cascading from the stunning private rooftop terrace to my front door below. Everything was simply perfect. The staff are truly incredible - special thanks to the restaurant/bar/room service team Xara, Sharif, Marius & Suhem. Thanks also to Edward the porter & Maria in reception. I can't wait to return to see you all again early next year. Thank you all for an unforgettable holiday. There is just one thing I wanted to mention to the management team: the uniforms for bar/restaurant/ room service staff need to be reviewed. The material is so thick/warm and oversized, bearing in mind these incredible people are running up and down hundreds of steps all day and all night. They should have the option of a uniform that's made in light cotton, and tailored to fit them so they are more comfortable during the long shifts where they are truly the backbone of the hotel. Maybe cotton or linen fabric, and the option of bermuda shorts, and short-sleeved shirts? Just a thought. Thanks again to the whole team at On The Rocks. I left another little of piece of my heart in beautiful Santorini. I know the season ends in a few weeks time; enjoy the rest you all so richly deserve & I'm already looking forward to returning in April 2025.
