Great historical experience and location that is within 10-15 mins walk from key Sintra tourist locations.
Service was a great and as hospitable as the Portuguese.
Strong recommendation for those looking to immerse in the experience.

Wunderschönes großen Anwesen mit Blick auf den Rathausturm, den Nationalpalast und die maurische Burg. Gartenanlage zum Spazieren. Prächtig eingerichtete Räume, überdachter Pool, schöne Terrasse. Frühstück wird serviert; bei der Ankunft erhält man ein Formular, ins das man die gewünschte Frühstückszeit eintragen kann. Freundliches Personal. Ruhige Lage, kein Verkehrslärm, nur die Pfaue waren auch nachts laut.

Quaint hotel in a very good location. Have a feel that you've gone back in time due to the architecture and decoration. Very large wood paneled room. Only downturn was the bathroom without a proper shower. I would have given a 5 star but it was very awkward to bathe yourself in such constrained space. Despite this, the staff was very amicable and attentive. Just enjoy the evening happy hour with plenty of wine, cheeses and charcuterie. All free and replenishes as you wish. Free parking. Within walking distance to the city center. Breakfest served on the table. I would have preferred a buffet breakfest.

This place is simply breathtaking! It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The elegance of this place is just unbelievable, the wonderful staff that work here can’t do enough to make your visit amazing and the grounds and the views are spectacular! A special thank you to Joao, Mariana and Maria for having gone above and beyond from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. This is simply one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever had the absolute honor of having stayed.

Beautiful property! Was a treat to stay here. We were in a separate building from the palace but just adjacent and easily accessible to the main building for breakfast and use of swimming pool. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially Maria during our stay. She gave us a tour of the property, helped us with dining plans etc. We didn’t make it to the Fado show but the magician was a big hit with my family. The room was large and very comfortable. A curtain needed to be pulled while showering as it was all in the same space, but that didn’t bother us. The location was great as you could walk into town and several times we walked back from the palaces back to the hotel.

We traveled to Sintra with a group of 5 families. We stayed in the Marmois palace which was such a beautiful and unique hotel. Each room and bathroom was different and it felt like we were staying in another time. The rooms were clean and the. The staff was wonderful, cooked fresh made to order breakfast each morning and offered wine and cheese in the evenings. There are beautiful peacocks roaming the property. It is in a great location and within minutes from Sintra where there are lots of great restaurants and shops. Be prepared to walk up and down hills! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a unique experience.

We fell in love with this hotel when we first visited in 2022, and we returned with my aunt and uncle for now our third stay. As usual, everything was outstanding. Spectacular views, incredibly friendly and warm staff, over the top breakfasts, lovely evening wine and cheese service…. And we were happy to be reunited with our peacock friends! The only problem is that this hotel is too beautiful, too perfect… and no other hotel can compare (my aunt complained bitterly for the rest of our Portugal trip that our subsequent hotels just did not live up to the standard set by Sintra Marmoris Palace!)
