Memorable stay. Hotel is well and tastefully renovated. Parking available is a big plus. Hotel is high in the hill and near to the moorish castle. A memorable stay. Lots of birds and very very nice. The service is fantastic and very friendly host.

Myself and my 4 year old son stayed here for a weekend, and it was fantastic! We received excellent communication from the front desk via email as we arrived after check in, which meant we could get straight up to our room upon arrival. It's in a great location, and has modern, clean, fresh décor and super friendly staff. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and A/C. There was plenty of extra bedding in the cupboards too which meant you could change the sheet for a duvet if the weather suddenly changed. The breakfast was a good price, and great continental selection; my son ate everything in sight, and they even went above and beyond to make him pancakes as a treat! There was an honesty bar available throughout the day too for any quick snacks or drinks which was reasonably priced. There's a local grocery shop, pharmacy, café and restaurants all 5mins walk away too which is so useful when travelling with children. Sintra itself was beautiful, my son loved the views, visiting Quinta da Regaleira and spotting the 'castles!' on top of the hills. Do be aware Sintra has a micro climate so the weather can be breezy and cooler than expected! Thank you to all the staff and friendly guests for making us feel so at home, and 100% recommend this lovely hotel.

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und ist mit der Navigation leicht zu finden. Der Innenhof ist wunderschön und die Lobby und die öffentlichen Bereiche sind auch wunderschön. Da es sich jedoch um ein altes Haus handelt, gibt es keinen Aufzug, und wenn Sie in einem der oberen Stockwerke wohnen, müssen Sie Ihren Koffer tragen, um nach oben zu gelangen – das ist im Grunde das Problem in Hotels, in denen Sie in alten Häusern in Portugal wohnen. Wir buchten eine Suite mit einem kleinen Loft und einem kleinen Balkon außerhalb des Lofts mit schöner Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist ihr eigenes Café, nicht mit dem Ort, an dem sie leben, es ist ganz in der Nähe, weniger als 5 Minuten. Das Frühstück ist im westlichen Stil mit Brot, Käse, Desserts, Obst, einer Tasse Saft und Kaffee pro Person, was recht herzhaft ist.

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Holstein. The hotel is set in large, expansive grounds, with little hidden paths one can explore. There's even a beautiful peacock who wanders around. The hotel is contained in an old estate and has a bygone sense of charm. Our room was very large and comfortable. The bathrooms (we had two) were very spacious and well appointed. The shower was excellent. The host was very pleasant and available to help and answer questions. They served breakfast at the hotel. Highly recommend!

Sintra Marmoris Camelia Hotel is a lovely small boutique hotel located in old Sintra within walking distance to the sights. The rooms are unique, large, well-appointed with stunning décor, large bathrooms, with stunning views of the castle and greenbelt. The location is perfect! The concierge will help plan a nice day of sightseeing, transportation or dinning in the area. They are extremely helpful always greeting you with a smile and willingness to help. Breakfast was yummy and is made to order in a lovey setting either inside or outside on the patio. In the afternoon, their sister property offers wine tasting for the guests at both properties. Beautiful property! Was a treat to stay here. We were in a separate building from the palace but just adjacent and easily accessible to the main building for breakfast and use of swimming pool. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially Maria during our stay. She gave us a tour of the property, helped us with dining plans etc. We didn’t make it to the Fado show but the magician was a big hit with my family. The room was large and very comfortable. A curtain needed to be pulled while showering as it was all in the same space, but that didn’t bother us. The location was great as you could walk into town and several times we walked back from the palaces back to the hotel.

Great location, walking 5 min from train station. Comfortable room and beds. Not so great- street parking ( if you can find a spot just outside after 11 pm or further up nearer train station) for 10 euros per day and non- sound proof walls. Goncalo at front desk recommended Cajo Portuguese restaurant which we really enjoyed ( tenderloin pork with mushroom rice, squid with cauliflower, orange)

Dieses Hotel war in so vielen Arten schön! Ich habe mich selbst verletzt, während ich um Sintra ging und ich konnte nicht besser aufpassen. Frühstück großartig, Betten wirklich komfortabel, Kuchen gut, Betten wunderbar unparfümiert. Oh und die Dusche mächtig und Pipe heiß. Aber ohne zu sagen, dass Zimmer und Gemeinderäume sauber und gemütlich Die Mitarbeiter sehr professionell ich wusste ihre Sachen, aber auch freundlich und freundlich.
