Pros: Great location on a pedestrian street across from a pretty park with lots of cafes and shops. Also close to other attractions within walking distance. The hotel was absolutely spotless in all areas that I visited. In the guest room, the sheets were ironed and the bed made up perfectly. Check in and check out were performed efficiently and professionally. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I requested a bathtub, and I got one. :-) My room (#311) faced the park, but was very quiet. The windows must be a sound-insulating type. The breakfast was part buffet style (coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, sliced bread & a toaster oven, jelly, butter and other condiments) and part menu (eggs, meats & cheese, pastries, fruit, etc.) and was quite adequate to insure that you won’t walk away hungry. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room had a neutral smell—no dirty scents or perfumed scents. The window opened if you want fresh air. There is also a thermostat for cool or warm air conditioning. There is a restaurant on floor 1 with a bar and comfortable TV lounge. Also self-service coffee, tea and water available 24/7. Electrical outlets and light switches are conveniently located on each side of the bed just above the bedside table. There are comfy extra blankets folded inside a plastic bag on the top shelves of the closet. There is a safe for valuables, but I think you need to get the key from reception, and there may be a charge. The TV had a variety of channels, but seemed to be satellite rather than cable. Limited foreign languages. I saw German, Russian, English and French in addition to Spanish, but only a couple of each. I watched BBC News in English. In general, the Sercotel Principe Paz is an excellent value for the money. Cons: (The “cons” are not complaints, but only meant to be thorough and honest in order to help future guests and hotel management.) There is no passenger or luggage drop off area. You will need to walk at least half a block if you arrive by taxi, or farther if you drive and park your own car. There are several parking garages nearby where you can park for 24 hours for €6,95. The two and only elevators are very small (typical) and very slow, so you may have to wait some time for your turn, or else take the stairs. The water sprayer for the shower in the bathtub leaked. The bathroom mirror was a little rusty on the edges—nothing but a frame needed here. There was a crack in the porcelain lid of the toilet. There were no bags for sanitary napkin disposal. The wooden furniture in room 311 was dated and a little worn. The windows did not lock. There is no coffee machine, kettle, minibar or refrigerator in the room (but you can go to the buffet area on floor 1 and find coffee and some other goodies). There was no bottled water in the room. The poached eggs I ordered for breakfast were cold—very cold. I suppose they were precooked and refrigerated. The breakfast food in general,

Ich suchte ein zentrales und günstiges Hotel. Dieses Hotel erfüllte das, was ich brauchte. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße im Zentrum, freundliche Leute, die Sie gut betreuen, war sauber, und der Preis war der niedrigste der Stadt. Geben Sie es für wirtschaftliche Budgets. Nichts Luxus.

The hotel is in a very good location, has very fast WiFi. Rooms are cleaned daily. Cleaning staff really needs solid re-training. Every time I left the room, I closed the window so that no one could jump into the room while I was gone and steal valuable things there, such as a laptop, camera, tablet, etc. However, when I returned, I found that the window was wide open. My room was on the ground floor, so anyone could jump in and rob my room at any time (It wouldn't take longer than 1 minute). The window led to the courtyard where there were no cctv cameras. Despite complaining to the hotel manager for 5 days in a row, nothing changed. Even when I put a sign on the window asking the cleaners to close the window after cleaning, they simply ripped it off and left the window open again. This put me under a lot of stress because for several days of my stay I was constantly wondering whether my things were still in the hotel while I was away from the hotel... this is unacceptable!!! besides, two times my towels were taken away and I never got clean ones, I had to go to the reception and ask for clean towels... with all due respect but your cleaning staff really needs solid re-training

Ich habe vor kurzem im Hotel Océano Centro in Vigo geblieben. Das freundliche und professionelle Personal hat mich begrüßt. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, im Herzen der Stadt gelegen, so dass es einfach ist, die Straßen von Vigo und schöne Wasserfront zu erkunden. Hier lässt die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren mit einer kleinen Reisegruppe hier. Gleich drei Zimmer waren in einem solch schlechten Zustand, dass sie getauscht werden mussten. Die Beanstandungen reichten von Motten im Kleiderschrank über nicht geputzt Bäder und Wasser, das nicht warm wurde. Die Zimmer, die in Richtung „Innenhof“ liegen, zeigen auf die hufeisenförmig gestaltete Fassade, In dieser engen Schlucht sind die Klimaanlagen und Lüftungsanlagen untergebracht. Bei offenem Fenster kann man nicht schlafen, weil das Brummen der Geräte zu sehr stört. Unser Zimmer roch muffig, das Bad war nicht richtig geputzt. Nach Corona hat das Hotel ein neues Frühstückskonzept. Zunächst war eine Zeitangabe überhaupt kein Frühstück eingebogen worden. Jetzt hat man in einem Zeitfenster von einer Stunde ab 7 Uhr die Möglichkeit aus drei Frühstücksvarianten auszuwählen. Alles ist sehr süßlastig. Man kann zwar bei der Anmeldung zum Frühstück (geht auch übers Internet) Wünsche äußern. Die werden dann aber dann am Morgen einfach nicht berücksichtigt. Das war sehr enttäuschend. Auch der Kaffeenachschub funktionierte nur schleppend und auf mehrmalige Nachfrage. Positiv war, dass alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich waren. Insgesamt war dieses Hotel das mit Abstand schlechteste auf unserer zweiwöchigen Rundreise.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie dienen leckere Mahlzeiten, lieben die Dienstleistungen ihres Frühstücks und als Kaffeetrinker haben sie das leckerste dort. Die Lage im Zentrum der Stadt, der Strand ist 30 Minuten mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel. Mit dem Auto ist es 10-15 Minuten. Ein perfekter Ort für Abendsport. Das Hotel ist sehr sicher am Abend, das Stadtzentrum ist sehr lebendig, auch während der Wochentage. Das Hotel ist perfekt für alleinreisende und Paare oder sogar Familien.

Ein großer Aufenthalt im Allgemeinen! Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und aufmerksam! Die Zimmer waren modern, sauber und geräumig. Der einzige Nebenanblick war das ungewöhnliche Fenster und der Lärm vom Dach! Ein großer Aufenthalt im Allgemeinen!

Urban hotel with all the pros and cons of it's location Cons: Doesn't matter the floor or facing what you get noise: elevator, the tram (right in front of hotel), the own bar (roof and street level), the people from the nearby bars... There is just no escape. NOTE: we stayed there as a working crew so this comes from all types of rooms options available. Pros: Staff is lovely Cool/Instagramable lobby Locations is good if you don't mind noise Wouldn't choose to stay here unless I was looking to party myself

Great location and comfortable beds, can't comment as we didn't use the breakfast or food available. There was a roof top party very late on Saturday night, super noisy until after 2am and could be heard in our room (on the top floor) sadly, otherwise this was a great hotel visit.
