Good: The Location, Its is a short train ride to sorrento which costs €1.50 each way pp, What is also great about the location is your away from the tourist trap and there is a supermarket nearby that sells drinks at a fraction of the cost of the hotel. Reception Staff was attentive and helpful at all times. The hotel itself was clean and very modern, it also seemed that not all the floors was modernised though. luckily ours was. Sunbeds, there are enough sunbeds, so need to fight to get one early in the morning, even when we came back from a day out there was a number of sunbeds available. Room was lovely and modern and just enough space to put your stuff, Air con can be left on, providing the annoying cleaner does not remove your card from the room activation slot! Nice showers, not overly powerful but good enough, we counted 4 sockets in the room, 2 of them had lamps plugged in, which we unplugged. This hotel does the BEST Pizza ever costing between €8 and €16, i visited local restaurants and the hotel really shines here, they are very popular aswell, but the other meals i had land up in the bad catagory Neutral: The Swimming pool can get a little over crowded, especially if the locals decide to turn up with a lot of little children, it also needs ladders on the 9ft deep end. The WaitersWaitresses: They are attentive, BUT if the locals are there wanting to eat you will always come second! Also we asked a waitress about the desert of the day on the dinner menu and she did not understand, so she asked her supervisor which he from what i understood was don't know, don't worry about it, we never found out what dessert it was. The Bad: Breakfast, Fatty Greasy Bacon, Hot dogs for sausages, which i am sure are processed, I noticed badly made scrambled eggs which in 3 out of 7 days i was there was either overcooked or runny. The cereal was nice and there is a choice of cakes,yogurts on offer and a selection breads, jams, nutella, honey. Cheeses and 3 types of ham on offer too. A SupervisorHead Waiter in the restaurant has a very arrogant manner about him, he does his job but there is a very strong arrogance about him. The Locals turning up with loads of kids can really ruin your day in the pool, the little children will tend to go in the main pool causing aggro instead of the small one. Some locals controlled there children to an extent but when a huge family turns up, well you have had it, unless you want to stay in the 9ft deep end holding onto the side. The expensive meals are nothing but a downright rip-off, so i had the chefs special which was a lobster with pasta, well i was served a lobster sawn in half from head to tail, with one claw for €30, there was next to no meat in the thing, very little, the menu never stated half a lobster!! The Pasta was nice though. I ordered a beef fillet with truffled potatoes again €30, So the beef fillet itself was amazing! i was never asked how i liked it, med, rare, etc but the bad on my plat
