We love the Dana! It’s our favorite place to stay when we vacation! We love the kayak rentals. The views from our room are amazing. The staff is so kind and friendly and they’re dog friendly!

We only stayed at The Dana 2 nights however we would stay there again. The room was nice and clean, the grounds with the pools and the docks were nice to walk around and everyone was helpful and friendly.

Great Location 5 min from SeaWorld San Diego, 5 min from Mission Beach by Uber/Lyft. 25 min or less from airport. 22 min from Birch aquarium. Kayak and paddle boat rentals behind hotel and 10 min walk from Mission Bay

As far as location, this was perfect for our Sea World and beach trip. There is a free shuttle to take you to Sea World, which made it convenient.
The rooms were nice, but we had ants in the bathroom. If you don’t like hard pillows then I suggest you bring your own. You are charged a daily parking and resort fee, which I wouldn’t have minded had we actually been able to park right in front of our room. Unfortunately when we came, there was a Rolls Royce and Bentley event happening at our hotel where we could not park on our side and had to park our car clear on the opposite side of the hotel, which took 3 trips to bring our bags to the car. No discount on parking for this. It almost felt that they did not value any other guest when it came to this event.
We paid the extra money to stay somewhere nicer and overall I felt it wasn’t worth it.
