Summer House Inn San Andres

Worst stay in San Andres and top 5 of my entire life. Unfortunately when doing the reservation by booking the payment method didnt work, and they asked to pay them directly 100% before hand so we couldn’t make any change on the reservation! Otherwise we would have complained with booking and go somewhere else the first day. First day: The room is very noisy, we could hear the motos, cars and people on the street. At night at 4:00 am someone from the hotel staff woke us up by opening the door of our room by mistake trying to do the check in of other guests. after the incident I had to come out of bed and the room to tell them to be more silent because they were making lots of noise in the corridor explaining the hotel rules to the new guests. Breakfast is "varied" but not good. It is not friendly for people with food restrictions ( I am vegetarian-semi vegan). When asking for additional fruit they denied it, the scrambled eggs had pieces of shell and the waffles are served without honey, or syrup, jelly or anything. The two ladies in the kitchen and service are very friendly but they are only two people cooking and serving more than 30 people at the same time! The room is comfortable but built to look good but not very functional: in the bathroom everything is rusty and falls apart (potos), and the handle of the window is broken so all the noise of the street is very loud in the room. we couldn’t sleep. On top of everything, they are building a new block, (where our room was located) and they started working, drilling and hammering at 8:00 am in the room next door! Some days until 7pm!!! Day two: still inconveniences with the breakfast: arepas were not even fully cooked when served (photo) and not vegetarian/vegan options (eggs, jam, milk,yoghurt). After asking them to repair the window they said they will do it the next day. Day 3- last day: they finally repaired the window. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED if you want to have a pleasant stay on the island.

Summer House Inn is the perfect place for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Rondny in particular was patient with my basic Spanish. He upgraded me upon arrival to a more spacious room upstairs, always greeted me warmly in the mornings and was helpful in booking tours and scooter rental from outside the hotel entrance. The beds are very comfortable with near silent AC. It's a 15 minute walk from the North beach but is away from the busy nightlife to get a peaceful sleep. I would love to return to San Andrés one day and would gladly stay at Summer House Inn again! Muchos Gracias!

Ótima hospedagem, com um excelente café da manhã, Rony e jenifer e toda a equipe fazem desse local muito aconchegante e acolhedor. Com um excelente serviço e com muita atenção para todos os hóspedes. Sempre estão presentes e de fácil acesso para auxiliar com qualquer tipo de dúvida.

Simplesmente amamos a experiencia no Summer House, passamos 7 dias na ilha e, além da beleza natural do local o atendimento e cuidado dos funcionários da Summer House foi impecável. Se retornarmos um dia a ilha com toda certeza ficaremos hospedados novamente com vcs.

Espetacular. Roni, Djenifer e de toda a equipe foram muito acolhedores. A pousada é muito agradável, limpa, o quarto é confortável, o café da manhã bem servido e delicioso. A localização está a 20 min de caminhada do centro, a 14 min do pier de onde saem os passeios. Tudo muito conveniente. Nossa estadia na pousada fez com que o passeio em San Andres fosse ainda mais memorável. Super indicamos!

Hotel charmoso, jardim lindo, mais simples porem tudo muito organizado, excelente recepção. Tudo limpo, quarto, roupas de cama, areas externas. Todos os funcionários sempre solícitos e simpáticos. Tem água quente no quarto, na Ilha é difícil de achar. Café da manhã muito gostoso. Nada a reclamar, ótima recepção. Roni e Jheni (funcionários do hotel) são sensacionais, nos ajudaram em tudo que precisamos. Viemos entre amigos, 10 pessoas no total. Ficamos hospedados 6 dias e 5 noites.
