We highly recommend and would stay again. Room: The room was adequately sized, especially for being in the city. The bed itself was extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed the large balcony. Our room faced the street and we found it to be quiet during the day and/or night. An Italian breakfast is provided in the room daily and there was a mini fridge with water. Location: The property is a few minute walk to the main walking street where there are bars, restaurants, and shops. This street can take you to the train station in one direction and the historical center in the other. The property is also within walking distance to the ferry and the beach. We are avid walkers, but I would say nothing took longer than 10 minutes to get to. My only caution would be that there is a small incline when walking to the property from the south. Hospitality: The highlight of our stay was the hospitality. The host promptly met us when we arrived earlier than planned. Maid service was done daily even when we said it wasn’t necessary if they felt uncomfortable due to Covid. We also left behind a bag of cords by accident and remembered a week later. We contacted the property and the host promptly replied and set up a day and time to meet so we could pick it up. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Let me start by being positive. The location is fantastic! A few minutes from the train station, about 8 min to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to explore the Amalfi Coast towns. It is on a pedestrian street with lots of shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. It would get 5* for location. We stayed in the “family suite” for two weeks. You have to let them know when you are checking in because there isn’t a front desk. Someone comes to let you in. The “suite needs to be refurbished as there were curtains that needed to be replaced. The kitchen was sp****ly equipped. No sharp knife or cutting board. No kettle. Backsplash covered in grease marks. The shower head was on the floor of the shower so we had to tie it with dental floss so we could use two hands to shower. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Bathroom next to the kitchen with about a 12” step to get in it. We did not have daily housekeeping. I wasn’t looking for luxury but this certainly wasn’t as advertised.

Ho soggiornato per 2 notti insieme al mio compagno. all'arrivo il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato molto gentile e simpatico, ci ha anche regalato una bottiglia di vino. ho soggiornato in questa struttura per questioni di studio, avevo un concorso in quei giorni a Salerno, sono stata per 2 giorni chiusa in camera e devo dire che è un B&B tranquillissimo. Molto pulito, camera molto confortevole e grande, con balcone. aria condizionata che puoi accendere e spegnere quando vuoi e regolare a piacimento la temperatura. bagno con doccia molto grande e molto pulito. spero di ritornarci, magari per una vacanza!

HomePage & Bilder versprechen mehr!! Unfreundliches Personal, ob Rezeption, Restaurant oder Zimmermädchen- alles sehr launisch, arrogant und unfreundlich. Hotel nur Oberflächlich renoviert, Zimmer alt und ungemütlich- nicht sehr sauber. Mückenstecker wird geboten, Balkontüre nie zuziehen, gibt keine Möglichkeit diese von außen zu öffnen. Ausblick mit Zoom ok. Parkplätze sind begrenzt und abenteuerlich. Frühstück billig und nichts spezielles- besser in einem externen Kaffee genießen. Große Baustelle neben Hotel, langer Weg in die City von Salerno.

Das Hotel selbst ist ganz OK, aber bestenfalls 3* Standard. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas mitgenommen, das kostenlose Parken definitiv ein Plus. Und jetzt die ganzen abers: - Das Frühstück ist schon sehr ärmlich; billigster Käse und Wurst, auch jeden Tag exakt gleich. - Ein Pool in Süditalien ohne Sonnenschirme, darauf muss man erstmal kommen. - Die theoretische Nähe zum Strand sollte nicht dazu führen das man denkt, man könnte da gerade mal hinlaufen. Auch wenn die Rezeption sagt, man könnte gegenüber zum Lido Del Carabiniere, wird man vor rt feststellen, dass nur Carabiniere und ihre Angehörigen erlaubt sind. Gleiches beim daneben gelegenen Lido Esercito, nur Militärangehörige. Hotel scheint das nicht zu wissen. Meine heftigste Reklamation: Habe das Hotel via Accor Website mit Vorauszahlung per Kreditkarte gebucht und so auch bestätigt bekommen: ”Vor Ort zu zahlender Betrag: 0,00 Euro” / außer Kurtaxe. Beim Checkout bekommt man dann gesagt, nein, da gibts ein Computerproblem, ich müsse jetzt (nochmal) zahlen. Ich könnte das ja schnell bei meiner Bank überprüfen (kann ich halt nicht, erst wenn meine Kreditkartenabrechnung vorliegt). Es hat sich zwar am Ende als richtig herausgestellt, aber das hätte man mir auch beim Checkin sagen können, dann hätte ich tatsächlich Zeit zur Prüfung können. Mir wurde einfach gesagt, dass meine Accor Bestätigung falsch sei. Der Umgang mit meinem Problem, welches letztlich vom Hotel verursacht wurde, war unfreundlich und unprofessionell. Der Managerin beim Checkout war das auch alles völlig gleichgültig, ist halt so. Nie wieder würde ich in dieses Hotel gehen.

Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 Sterne verdient maximal 2 Sterne Das einzige was gut ist ,ist die Lage Das Frühstück ist eine Frechheit wässriges Rührei, halbreife grüne Tomaten Kaffee mittels kapseln keine Abwechslung und sogar an zwei Tagen keine Brot bzw Brötchen. Einem Teil des Personals sollte man lernen wieman mit Gästen umgeht vor allem beim einchecken, der erste Eindruck ist manchmal wichtig Das Abendessen ist noch eine größere Frechheit sehr teurer extrem kleine Portionen und Geschmacksneutral

Ein absolut schönes Familienhotel in Scala. Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt hier und wollten nicht gehen. Das Hotel hat eine sehr begrüßenswerte Vibe, sobald Sie durch die Tür gehen. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und haben einen erstaunlichen Blick auf die Amalfi Küste. Das Zentrum von Scala ist 5 Minuten entfernt und Sie können leicht zu Ravello und Amalfi Fuß oder mit dem Busservice erreichen. Wir würden sicher empfehlen, die Küchenklasse mit Antonio und Marinella zu machen. Wir hoffen, zurück zu sein!

We arrived on Sunday 22/10/23 with limited expectations, the hotel had a Wedding in progress and this made check in at most casual, initial impressions were ok décor looked traditional and clean, The room 204, that's where it all went down hill, room was small and bland. a small TV hung on the wall, a fridge was in the cupboard below which didn't seem to work and was supposed to be stocked, it wasn't, it was empty, walls were scuffed and could have done with a lick of paint. The bathroom was small and had an over bath shower with usual facilities, the bath needed the sealant replaced around the whole bath, the shower blind was a bit dated and grim the underside of it was not clean. I'm afraid it wasn't inviting, quite the opposite, needed updating. The door to the balcony was new and worked well, when you get outside you see this hotels appeal being 600m Above Sea Level the views are breath-taking. Bed was hard as stone like sleeping on a mortuary slab, not that I've ever done that and i actually slept quite well. my wife however wasn't as pleased, we enquired about a topper at reception, the language barrier did get in the way but we thought we'd got through, alas we didn't get the topper. we had one meal in the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was served on level -1 a large soulless room, normal continental fair ham, cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs some limp lettuce, no cereal to speak of, yogurt tea and American Coffee. Not exactly well presented but ok. my wife is a coeliac(gluten free) and the staff provided gluten free products, on the Wednesday morning and i can only assume that as there were only 5 people in the hotel breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant, which was better, and had great views, breakfast was served at the table. There was a bar but it was not well stocked or manned. 2x G&T's £8 parking was ok a bit tight but ok. The hotel is in the hamlet of Agerola which has limited restaurants and bars we had drinks at Madame in the square and at the bar across the road when the aforementioned was shut, we had a meal in the next village along, which was also small and only had one or two restaurants that we could find. Not exactly buzzing but very pretty and it was October, also bear in mind the temperature is 3-4 degs lower than the coast, Also it takes about an hour to get to the coast, round some tight bendy mountain roads, if your a nervous driver might not be the place for you. We left a day early and moved to Pompeii as he weather was not good, and we wanted to get nearer to Naples, paid the bill which included a local tax! I'm sure was included on the original booking but i may be wrong, worth watching out for. This hotel is very pretty and traditional the staff are friendly and helpful, it has the potential, to be a good hotel, public rooms are modern and clean but they need a bit of fine tuning, Room/s need modernizing. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
