Like most of the hotel reviews, this is an excellent hotel. We all had sea view rooms (I was with a group). We only stayed one night but the weather was perfect and after a long day traversing the Amalfi coast with all the crowds it was a lovely way to unwind. We all went to the Pepe Nero pizzeria next door for pizza and wine which was a fun way to relax after so many large meals. The staff are lovely, the breakfast very good. Yes, it's not near the historical center, but it's a great alternative. I would definitely stay there again.

Value for money. The check in was a little weird. Also the walls are like paper. One can hear everything. Very clean tho.

Ho soggiornato per 2 notti insieme al mio compagno. all'arrivo il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato molto gentile e simpatico, ci ha anche regalato una bottiglia di vino. ho soggiornato in questa struttura per questioni di studio, avevo un concorso in quei giorni a Salerno, sono stata per 2 giorni chiusa in camera e devo dire che è un B&B tranquillissimo. Molto pulito, camera molto confortevole e grande, con balcone. aria condizionata che puoi accendere e spegnere quando vuoi e regolare a piacimento la temperatura. bagno con doccia molto grande e molto pulito. spero di ritornarci, magari per una vacanza!

Unser Aufenthalt im Villa Rizzo Resort & Spa war einfach magisch! Die Szenerie mit den endlosen Zitronen-, Oliven-, Haselnuss-, Orangen- und Mandarinenbäumen, den sanft geschwungenen Weinreben und der majestätischen Naturkulisse war schlichtweg atemberaubend. Die Ruhe und Gelassenheit, die man hier erleben kann, sind einfach unübertroffen. Von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause. Es war eine wahre Symphonie für unsere Sinne, durch die gepflegten Weinberge und die üppigen Obstgärten zu schlendern. Das Personal verwöhnte uns mit einer Gastfreundschaft, die wirklich berührend war. Das Essen war köstlich und von höchster Qualität. Die einheimischen Produkte verliehen den Gerichten einen unvergleichlichen Geschmack. Ganz zu schweigen von dem wunderbaren Wein, der von der Familie Rizzo hergestellt wird. Der Spa-Bereich war einfach super und bot eine Vielzahl von Behandlungen. Die einzigartige Massage, die wir genossen haben, war so individuell und auf unsere Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten, dass wir uns wie auf Wolken fühlten. Im Garten vor dem Eingang zu unserem Zimmer gab es einen Whirlpool, umgeben von Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen, die reichlich Früchte trugen. Das Ambiente war einfach zauberhaft! Man spürte förmlich, dass alles hier mit viel Wärme und Liebe gemacht wird. Wir verbrachten ein Wochenende im Januar im Villa Rizzo Resort & Spa und es war eine unvergessliche Zeit. Wir können das Villa Rizzo Resort & Spa wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon darauf, bald wieder zurückzukehren.

In einer Junior Suite haben wir in der Villa Piedimonte eine bemerkenswert schöne Woche Urlaub verbracht. Das Hotel wird durch ein junges Team geführt, welches sich in allen Belangen zuvorkommend, anstrengungsbereit und jederzeit hilfsbereit erwies. Angenehm empfanden wir die unkomplizierte Transportmöglichkeit nach Ravello mit einem Oldtimer-Kleinbus. Die direkte Anmeldung/ Reservierung mit dem Hotel erfolgte reibungslos und professionell, wie auch während des Aufenthalts auf das Einhalten der Corona Regeln Wert gelegt wurde. Die in vielen Bewertungen aufgezeigte einmalige Hanglage des Hotels, mit Blick auf das Meer, können wir nur bestätigen. Schönes und großzügiges Zimmer mit eigener „Veranda“ , geräumiges und gut ausgestattetes Bad. Zu schätzen an der Amalfiküste lernten wir die guten und überwachten Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Gleichfalls positiv empfanden wir, dass das Hotel eine überschaubare Zahl an Zimmern aufweist. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt, für uns uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

We arrived on Sunday 22/10/23 with limited expectations, the hotel had a Wedding in progress and this made check in at most casual, initial impressions were ok décor looked traditional and clean, The room 204, that's where it all went down hill, room was small and bland. a small TV hung on the wall, a fridge was in the cupboard below which didn't seem to work and was supposed to be stocked, it wasn't, it was empty, walls were scuffed and could have done with a lick of paint. The bathroom was small and had an over bath shower with usual facilities, the bath needed the sealant replaced around the whole bath, the shower blind was a bit dated and grim the underside of it was not clean. I'm afraid it wasn't inviting, quite the opposite, needed updating. The door to the balcony was new and worked well, when you get outside you see this hotels appeal being 600m Above Sea Level the views are breath-taking. Bed was hard as stone like sleeping on a mortuary slab, not that I've ever done that and i actually slept quite well. my wife however wasn't as pleased, we enquired about a topper at reception, the language barrier did get in the way but we thought we'd got through, alas we didn't get the topper. we had one meal in the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was served on level -1 a large soulless room, normal continental fair ham, cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs some limp lettuce, no cereal to speak of, yogurt tea and American Coffee. Not exactly well presented but ok. my wife is a coeliac(gluten free) and the staff provided gluten free products, on the Wednesday morning and i can only assume that as there were only 5 people in the hotel breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant, which was better, and had great views, breakfast was served at the table. There was a bar but it was not well stocked or manned. 2x G&T's £8 parking was ok a bit tight but ok. The hotel is in the hamlet of Agerola which has limited restaurants and bars we had drinks at Madame in the square and at the bar across the road when the aforementioned was shut, we had a meal in the next village along, which was also small and only had one or two restaurants that we could find. Not exactly buzzing but very pretty and it was October, also bear in mind the temperature is 3-4 degs lower than the coast, Also it takes about an hour to get to the coast, round some tight bendy mountain roads, if your a nervous driver might not be the place for you. We left a day early and moved to Pompeii as he weather was not good, and we wanted to get nearer to Naples, paid the bill which included a local tax! I'm sure was included on the original booking but i may be wrong, worth watching out for. This hotel is very pretty and traditional the staff are friendly and helpful, it has the potential, to be a good hotel, public rooms are modern and clean but they need a bit of fine tuning, Room/s need modernizing. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
