Beautiful hotel in a wonderful area right on the beach. PROS: Hotel staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, courteous and an all-around pleasure. In particular, the front desk staff, all of the bar staff inside who handle the evening reception and particularly, Abraham, the pool manager. He always checked in us, was constantly working and keeping the area updated and clean, gave us awesome recommendations on local restaurants. What a gem! The rooms were disappointing for the cost per night and/or points needed. Our room in particular experienced clanking in the ceiling or walls every time the air conditioning started and stopped, which made it hard to sleep. It was considered a ”King Studio” and nothing we're used to at Embassy Suites. They could also use dressers. There was nowhere to really store any clothing for a longer stay. All in all, if we came back to St. Augustine, we would stay again.

We spent 4 lovely and relaxing nights in the lower room of the beach house. We enjoyed the privacy and roominess of the room, with access to the main living area upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms were charming. The glasses in sunroom had a lovely sea view. Andrea, Cindy, and Lily made us delicious and filling a breakfast every morning. They had wonderful suggestions for things to do & see and restaurants. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. The boardwalk was a quick walk to the beach. One word of advice, if you’re going to walk in the beach at night, be sure to mark, or otherwise keep up with the beach entrance to the boardwalk. The Beachfront B&B was definitely a romantic stay. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.

Der Service war ok. Ersuchte einen Weinöffner vom Vorderbüro. Es wurde gesagt, einen von dem Bistro zu bekommen. Zu dem Bistro wurde gesagt, ich musste in mein Zimmer auf dem vierten Stock zurückgehen und die Flasche Wein herunterbringen, so dass sie es öffnen würden. Ich konnte mir keinen Weinöffner während meines Aufenthalts zu verwenden geben. Großer Markt für gestohlene Weinöffner, denke ich. Außer dem Duschekopf in der Molle bedeckt. Keine andere Probleme. Sicherlich ein drei-Sterne-Hotel ohne Aspiration, auf das nächste Niveau zu bewegen.

when we arrived, there was water dripping from the ceiling onto the desk. We were told it was from humidity. There was also water dripping on the floor. The first room we were in was a very last room at the end of the hall. even tho We reserved our rooms several weeks earlier. We are seniors with a walker so we requested a room close to the elevator. We arrived to get the very last room at the end of the hall even though there were empty rooms in between. After requesting another room we were moved the next day. The next room, we were in felt really damp, even the bed, carpet and counters felt damp. it got So bad the tile floors had pools of water. We requested maintenance who came and did some adjusting to the air conditioner and thermostat.. it Was so bad the next day, my nephew, put towels on the floor for us to walk on to keep from falling,We again called maintenance this guy didn’t see a problem. Finally we ask for the manager who moved us to another room. I want to say Vanassa at the front desk,the young lady in the dining room and the manager are wonderful but Hampton hotels are getting old they do a few cosmetic things but there are major issues. also, if you want to pay for an ocean view request the fourth floor if you’re down, you’re gonna have to try to look through the trees and you can barely see the ocean that is not worth paying the extra money for. This is the worst Hampton we have stayed in and we will be looking for other brands for upcoming trips. to be fair, they did give us one free night.
