"A perfect hotel for a family holiday with 3 teenagers. Lovely, modern, stylish and clean with excellent meals. The all inclusive food and drink was of a high quality with plenty of variety. Very convenient for all the resort’s amenities and with a bus stop right outside, we managed to explore the area. Gandia old town was well worth a visit as was Valencia (where we visited by train). The two pools, range of games, gym and gaming room kept everyone entertained. Service was second to none and Sebi at the pool bar was exceptional. As well as making the best cocktails he was helpful and gave us tips on where to go (such as a visit to the Sumday evening market). Thank you Sebi and all the staff."

"We visited as a family of three from the UK. We had high expectations of this hotel as it was not cheap and was rated highly on trip advisor and on the beach (which we booked via). Firstly, I would highly recommend not booking via o the beach. There is no customer service and upgrades to different hotels are extortionate. Customer service is AI only. The hotel itself is ok. It could do with being tidied up on the outside. It is quite scruffy. The rooms are large and cool with good air con. There are no kettles in the rooms (we have a 1 year old so made it impossible to make formula). There is a coffee machine which has two pods - espresso. There are no usb ports. They only restock mini bar with fizzy drinks and not the cava. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was also fine. We had a balcony which was good as we enjoyed sitting out in the evenings. If you have a residence room you will be put in the area near the swimming pool which is a pain to get to reception from, two lifts. We found that for an all inclusive hotel offered on a website like onthebeach, that apparently catered to English people, the service was very poor. There were no fluent English speakers, and there was lots of confusion. Staff did not seem to want to help us, and it made it hard to ask the most basic questions. We asked for car hire, and they said there is nothing they can do. We asked for a kettle, they do not supply kettles. The meal times (as brits) were far too late for us. Dinner was at 8pm, this made it very difficult to give our daughter food. There is one snack bar in which served food only between 4pm-6pm. It just served burger and hot dogs. The kids club area that is advertised is only open for 3 hours per day - again, not the right times for us 4-6 and 22:00-23:00. All activity programmes were in Spanish, nothing in English. Food was ok. Lunches would be the same as dinners most days. Drinks again were fine, nothing to celebrate. There are two small pools, again outside could do with a tidy. Lots of astroturf and pools look tired. Gandia itself is a very small town. The beach is lovely and has huge stretches of sand. We got access to the magic club as we had ultra all inclusive. It was a nice touch to have included drinks on the pool. I think the hotel should consider sticking to its usual clientele of Spanish tourists. Brits stay away. I would definitely recommend doing your research (I will be in future), as this just didn’t work for us as a family/ brits."

"Zimmer, Service, Preisleistung alles prima, teils auch Richtung fünf Sterne, sehr guter Fitnessraum, sehr gutes Buffet Angebot insbesondere exzellentes Schweinefleisch, aber auch viele Salate und Veggie Angebote. Sehr freundlicher Service mit gutem Englisch, schöne Zimmer, sehr schönes Bad, gute Matratze - alles wie es sein soll. Auch das Drumherum passt: schöner Pool mit vielen Liegen Gut sortierte Poolbar außerhalb vom Hotel in 5 Minuten in den Dünen und am Wasser wenige 100 m in beide Richtungen verschiedene Strandbars teils mit Campingplätzen kombiniert auch mit sehr ordentlichem Angebot. Kleine Mängel: - manche Cocktails abweichend vom Original Rezept mit Zuckersirup - etwas undurchsichtige Preisstruktur mit 60 € Kredit/Nacht für Zimmer im Haupthaus"

"Das Hotel ist klein, aber eigenartig. Wir hatten ein Superior-Zimmer mit einer Dachterrasse mit 2 Sofas, die teilweise überdacht war. Es gab Rollläden sowie einen Teddo und eine supereffiziente Klimaanlage. Leider war die beworbene Kaffeemaschine nicht vorhanden und wir haben sie während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts auch nie bekommen. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, aber einen kleinen im Rezeptionsbereich, den jeder benutzen kann. Wir waren ein wenig enttäuscht, dass neben dem Sessel kein kleiner Tisch dabei war. Das wäre nützlich gewesen. Außerdem gab es keine Regale im Kleiderschrank. Ein Doppelschrank mit 4 Kleiderbügeln, aber ohne Regale oder Schubladen ist ein bisschen mickrig. Der Zugang zur Eingangstür und zu Ihrem Zimmer erfolgt über einen Code, was eine ausgezeichnete Idee ist. Das Hotel war sehr ruhig, obwohl Hunde erlaubt waren. Die Lage ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Hafen und dem Beginn der Promenade entfernt und es gibt eine Reihe von Restaurants und Cafés, Panerderias und ein Más y Más in der Nähe. Alles in allem ein schönes Budgethotel. Wenn Sie in Restaurants in der Nähe gehen, beachten Sie, dass diese ziemlich spät am Abend öffnen (frühestens 19:30 Uhr) und fragen Sie vorher nach den Preisen. Wir bestellten eine Flasche Hauswein zu einem bestimmten Preis, nur um nach einer Weile zu erfahren, dass nur der teurere verfügbar sei. Das passierte in 2 verschiedenen Restaurants. Das Café an der Ecke macht wunderbare Tostadas zum Frühstück, es liegt direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Mehrere Restaurants in einer Seitenstraße, die zu einem Platz führt, der ebenfalls mehr oder weniger auf der anderen Straßenseite des Hotels liegt. Das Superior-Zimmer im obersten (4.) Stock mit hoher Decke (der Aufzug hält im 3. Stock) ist geräumig und hat eine schöne Terrasse. Wenn Sie Ihren Hund mitbringen, zahlen Sie zu Beginn Ihres Aufenthalts eine Kaution von 30 €, die zurückerstattet wird, sofern Ihr Hund keinen Schaden angerichtet hat"

"Overall, we liked it. But if I look at certain things individually, there's room for improvement. The menu inside the restaurant is good in terms of price, but on one occasion they ran out of one of the ingredients (York ham). They didn't tell us, and we paid the price listed on the menu for the whole thing. When we noticed, we told the staff, and the response was neither efficient nor reasonable. "I don't make the menus." First, not making a menu doesn't mean the kitchen doesn't follow the ingredients list. Second, the mistake should be acknowledged immediately, and excuses about not having ham should not be made when it's listed on the menu. Third, a solution should be sought; the customer shouldn't be expected to provide one. And fourth, if a solution isn't offered, and the customer's suggestion is reasonable and makes perfect sense, there shouldn't be any murmuring from the kitchen. If an ingredient is missing, a better one is arranged. If that's not possible, an apology is offered, and a similar ingredient is added, but no inappropriate comments are ever made… it's important to emphasize that the customer wasn't at fault. On the other hand, there aren't enough sun loungers at the small pools. The pools aren't very clean. The morning café staff is professional and friendly. Some of the women have light hair, and another has dreadlocks. But the evening staff leaves something to be desired. There's a very nice cleaning lady who's always ready to help; she has very short hair. The reception staff are friendly, pleasant, and professional."

"Die Apartments sind sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Es fehlt eigentlich an Nichts. Der Pool ist groß, sauber und hat auch für kleine Kinder einen niedrigen Plantsch-Bereich. Poolliegen sind bequem, Strand ist toll! Einzig die 2 Liegen pro Apartment sind ein bisschen zu wenig bemessen. Leider ist die Lage eine einzige Katastrophe. Es gibt nicht einmal einen kleinen Supermarkt fussläufig. Auch nur 1,2 Restaurants…Man muss immer mit dem Auto fahren, kein gemütliches Bummeln am Abend möglich wie zb in Gandia. Deshalb würden wir leider nicht mehr dort buchen. Schade, denn die Apartments sind wirklich toll!"
