Our son attends Sac State, so this hotel is our home away from home. We stay 5 or so times per year. When you visit, you MUST say "hello" to Alfredo who is the friendliest breakfast buffet attendant you will ever meet. The food is also awesome. The rooms are roomy and the beds are very comfortable.

Nice new hotel with easy access to freeway and light rail. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Nice to see a hotel in this part of Sacramento

My husband & I recently stayed overnight to see KISS at the Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park. We were very pleased. The Hotel is clean, modern & bright. Hotel is next to the Freeway but we hardly noticed any noise. The complimentary breakfast was good, something for everyone, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, make your own waffle station, juice & coffee. We felt very safe as it is near an industrial area and we noticed a few unhoused individuals nearby. The property is fenced & gated. You must scan your room key at the front door to enter the Hotel at night. They also have a security guard from 6pm-6am. There was a nice looking pool but we didn't get a chance to use it. The only downside was there's no food/restaurants nearby and they do charge for parking, $8.50/night, but that's not bad. They do offer snacks & beverages for purchase in the Lobby and there's always UberEats. Another Hotel is being built nextdoor, so maybe a few food places will be built in the future. We will definitely stay again. Farrah & Lorena at the front desk were awesome. The were very welcoming, friendly and answered all our questions regarding ordering an Uber, parking & breakfast hours.

We were at king suite in first floor and it was amazing. Very clean and spacious. Roof was so high with big windows and lots of day light. We really enjoyed our stay.

酒店硬件設施都很好，就是位置一般，一面是高架橋，一面是鐵路，噪音挺大，位置偏僻，衞生條件很好，早餐也可以。

Looking out of window was a view of unfortunate homeless encampment. Did not feel safe walking around at night. The actual hotel itself was excellent. Large and clean rooms however I was not a fan of the barn style rolling doors for the bathroom....did not give enough privacy! ! The gentleman who ran the morning breakfast was a joy to see each morning....friendly and accommodating. One thing that I was not aware of when we booked our room was that a large number of college athletes would be staying there. Each morning and evening it was difficult to find any seating in the lobby to have breakfast or just to lounge. Would I stay here again???.....well the actual facility is excellent along with the morning breakfast, but the location and the large number of student athletes at the Hampton and the adjacent Home 2 made it difficult. I would probably not stay at this Hampton.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was good. Details with security were excellent. There is a homeless camp across the street but there were no issues and the hotel parking lot has security measures. The hotel is updated and clean inside.

It was a last minute reservation requiring 5 rooms for our extended family due to an emergency at UC Davis medical center. We also needed a pet friendly hotel. Hampton checked all the boxes. Thank you for accommodating us with all our needs - placing us on the same floor within close proximity to each other. And for including breakfast. Staff was friendly and understanding to our family situation. Well worth staying if you need to be close to the hospital.

We love staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites at CSUS when we come to Sacramento to visit our daughter at Sacramento State. The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and seem to be happy to work there. This positive culture carries over to the guests and always makes for a pleasant stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and I love the eco-friendly toiletries in the shower and bathroom. Would highly recommend.

This property was not safe. Another patron was issued a key to my room. Very scary when they show up to your room with a key number to your room. The air conditioner was not working. We had to move to another room. Definitely would not stay there again.
