Hotels in der Nähe von Lake Rotomahana Boat Cruise (Jetty 5), Rotorua

Waren schon oft dort, sehr schönes Hotel mit Pool, Kinder lieben es sehr. Abendessen im Hotel, sehr zufrieden, leckeres Essen und guter Service. Obwohl die Einrichtungen nicht neu sind, sind sie sauber und unbeschädigt. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und komfortabel.

Expectations were pretty high for this place as it has ‘Resort’ in the name. The pictures made it look lovely online, that is where it ended. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. I already knew the hotel was not in town so the location did not bother me. But if you are not wanting to travel much stay closer to town, as this place is 15mins away from the main drag. The view outside is stunning, unfortunately with all the rain there was mud everywhere which made it hard to walk outside of the hotel for a nice picture. You would think being a resort this would be a priority to fix up as soon as possible, even put gravel down instead of grass. The rooms were nice and big and the heat pump was lovely. Cleanliness is a big problem. Taps were still marked with water stains and dust, I wiped it and it came off straight away. Bathroom wasn’t mopped and the floor was not vacuumed. Toilet had marks in it that I could clean away, toilet brush was old and dirty (you know what I mean :() The ‘Spa’ area wasn’t the best either. 2 lonely spa pools sit out the back, with a grotty looking cold pool. The main pool looked lovely, but it was cold so wasn’t being used by anyone. The bar here is great, has a great UK British pub style, however someone is not always there to serve, we had to cancel drinks as they took the girl 30mins… The bed was comfortable and the overall area was nice and peaceful, couldn’t hear other rooms or anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. However, for us there were too many downs and we will not be returning.

Wir kamen auf kurzem Urlaub und wurden dieses Hotel von der Familie empfohlen. Wir waren nicht enttäuscht! Der Service war großartig, der Spa war wunderbar und die Betten waren super komfortable. Die Variante am kontinentalen Frühstück war ziemlich gut und das Personal war wunderschön. Absolut empfehlen!

Ich werde mit den Dingen beginnen, die ich gefallen habe. Das Frühstücksbuffet. Es war schön, einen schnellen Weg zu einem guten Frühstück im Hotel zu haben. Die Dekoration im Lobby war sehr nett. Nun die nicht zu netten Teilen: Das Zimmer wurde mit 2 Queen-size-Betten gekrampft. (Obwohl es einen Kühlschrank und Kessel hatte.) Ich habe die Gärten geöffnet, um von geschroteten Scheren überrascht zu werden. Das Wi-Fi war sehr schlecht. Der Zugang ist nicht behinderbar. Die Vorderstetten hatten keinen Railing. Die Rampe war groß für Gepäck, aber hätte nicht einen Rollstuhl gebucht. (Ich habe schlechte Knie und benutze einen Kaninchen.) Sie scheinen unterbesetzt. Ein gemeinsames Problem während unserer Reise. Aber das Personal war hilfreich. Sie haben die gedrehten Scheren anerkannt und planen, sie alle zu ersetzen.

Ich war 2 Nächte hier mit meiner Familie, einschließlich eines Babys. Das Zimmer war ziemlich geräumig. Das Personal war freundlich. Leider scheint es auf dem Fußbodendeck Bettbogen oder Staubmühlen zu sein, da ich um meinen Hals viele Bitze bekam. Gehen Sie voran, um das Front Desk zu informieren, aber ich wurde gesagt, es gab absolut keine Bettbogen im Hotel. Das Zimmer ist insgesamt ok, außer für die Reinigung.

Rein moderne geräumige gute Leute Freundlich und hilfsbereit Personal Küchen sind eine große Größe viel Raum zu bewegen rund um dieses Gebäude verbreitet über mehrere Gebäude jedes mit eigener Einrichtungen. d.h. TV-Zimmer Küche viele Aktivitäten in jedem hat eine Waschbecken. Loungezimmer sind unglaublich komfortable mit Büffeltüchern und großen Stühlen. Das Hostel befindet sich 3 Minuten zu Fuß von CBD so ist sehr nahe zu allen Aktivitäten Es gibt mehrere Supermärkte innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hostel befindet sich direkt gegenüber dem Kurau Park einen Spaziergang wert. Kann nicht genug über den Wert dieses Hostels sagen. The positives first: The hotel is not terrible. It was not our first choice, but we ended up booking here, as well as booking our friends we were meeting here and another couple joined us for one night and paid for a room. We alerted the manager and he put us all on the the same floor, with a lake view. The room was clean. A little tight on space, but this is not a negative. Staff were friendly. The negatives: NO HOT WATER!! We stayed for 4 nights. One person out of 6 had a hot shower, as he showered just after we arrived. That was the last hot shower. The water was progressively colder, each day. And it was the whole hotel. This was the topic of conversation with every other hotel guest we happened to meet in the lift. We complained, every day. At each stage, we were told they were... waiting for someone to turn up...the problem was fixed but because everyone kept using the water it could not warm up...the problem was not fixed, they were waiting for someone from somewhere else. I think they had no idea and I did feel sorry for the staff, but a hot shower is absolutely a basic requirement. At no stage was there a note slipped under the door to apologise and ask us to bear with them. It was incredibly frustrating. It seems petty after this to mention the bathrooms also need a bit of care and smell very mildewy, but if it were not for the hot water issue, this would have been my main complaint. The last thing to mention, it rained the whole time we were there and the Ibis has no lounge area. We ended up sitting in one of the rooms, as a group, having a natter, like high schoolers. This is more of a Rotorua problem, though, as Rotorua seemed to shut down early and there was no where to just chat, in the evenings. Ibis Rotorua is not somewhere we will stay again.

Was one if the cheaper options for our dates, we were pleasantly surprised. It looked and smelt new, had elevators to our floor. Room was small but practical, had fridge and jug. Bed was a double and quite small and for some reason seemed short but we slept OK. Very clean and well kept. Had small full length widow that looked into small atrium of the other rooms. Only negative was when the toilet was flushed, a sewerage smell came up through the drain. Easy parking, bottle store and restaurant on site but didnt use. Situated almost opposite luge. Had a car so location to town was not an issue, however, there were fast food outlets within walking distance that we noticed anyway. Overall, was good for our needs and would stay again.

Erstaunlicher Ort zum Aufenthalt, so wunderschöner Kundenservice und saubere und gemütliche Zimmer. Es war wirklich schön hier zu bleiben für 2 Nächte, nur nahe genug, um Rotorua zu erkunden. Es ist in der Mitte der Höllentür und Rotorua Stadt/waiOtapu.

Wir kamen in diesem wunderbaren Ort durch Unfallbuchung letzte Minute während unserer Reisen in NZ, so glücklich! und entschied, eine Nacht zu buchen, weil wir es so sehr liebten! Danny und Mable sind die schönsten Gastgeber, die uns bei unseren Planungsaktivitäten geholfen und uns vernichtet haben. Das Frühstück ist absolut erstaunlich: Mabel macht schöne Schöpfungen mit Früchten und leckeren Gerichten mit lokalen Produkten, Avocado und Blumen aus ihrem eigenen Garten. Ihr persönlicher Kontakt macht dieses B&B absolute Höhepunkt und wir empfehlen sicher, wenn Sie die Chance erhalten bleiben. Vielen Dank!!
