"Overall, a good hotel with clean, modern rooms. Before arrival, we received a call offering a free upgrade to a river view room, which was a nice touch. The hotel is not close to the highway (around 12 km away), but easy to reach by car and offers convenient underground parking. A shopping mall is also within walking distance. Check-in as foreigners was smooth. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the bathroom layout was a bit unusual, it’s not fully separated from the main room and the toilet door is partially transparent at the bottom, which might be awkward when sharing the room. One odd incident in the morning: a staff member knocked extremely hard on our neighbour’s door, but it sounded as if he was knocking on ours. We repeatedly asked (in Chinese) what he wanted, but he didn’t respond or clarify the situation. Only after we demanded he stop and explain why he was knocking did he finally tell us the knocking was meant for the neighbouring room. A simple explanation or apology earlier would have avoided the confusion. A positive highlight came after check-out: We had forgotten something in the room, and the hotel proactively called us to arrange delivery. Breakfast was good, with excellent coffee and freshly prepared local noodles, although Western options were limited. In summary: a modern, well-located hotel with thoughtful service, though small improvements in communication and guest interaction would help."
