My fault that I booked this room in a hotel without air con. Still I was lucky it was not too hot outside. The hotel provided a fan which when put near the window cooled the room down nicely. Unfortunately though you can not close the curtains if the fan is in the window. This was not a problem for me though because I normally wear a mask and the earplugs when I travel.  All in all it was very good stay the bed was comfortable and clean. I didn’t hear any trains during the night and the Location is very good to be very close to the station. I would stay there again.

The room was very clean with a full of amenities. There were plenty of outlets for charging phones and other devices, and the room and entire building seemed very clean. This hotel is next to a small town centre and train station. Due to the train station cross the road, train/rail noises keeps coming in the room all night which was very uncomfortable. In the end I would like to thanks all the staff who were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay they went beyond our expectations.

For the price, the hotel was better than expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped. On-street parking outside was full when we arrived but it is close to the station so ideal for train travel. There was nobody at reception when we checked out, which is why I marked it down for Service.

This hotel was perfect for my trip to see family in Rochester. Very clean, comfortable, and close to strood train station. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Will definitely stay again!
