Motel Bellevue

Well, if you went here on your honeymoon, your marriage would last about 35 minutes...sorry 35 seconds. I was not expecting the Hyatt Regency in Bas-St.Laurent, but this place was well below expectations. First of all, the lady who checked us in was extremely nice, but utterly clueless. I pointed to my reservation on a card on the desk, but she was unable to figure out what room to assign us. (I booked my reservation at least a month ago.) I just hope she does not run air traffic control. Otherwise, the planes will collide, and we will all be dead. The motel itself is a 1950s style efficiency deal-and it does not look like it has been updated since then. Everything was tiny. The overhead light was dull. The lamp on the end table did not work. The WIFI was barely operative. Most dangerous was the shower, where the water temperature when from freezing to scalding when the room next door turned on the tap. This was camping with a roof over our heads. Book someplace else.
