Man kann sich über nichts in diesem Hotel beschweren. Alles war perfekt für eine kleine Reise.

Die Dekoration ist sehr neu, die Einrichtungen und Geräte sind voll funktionsfähig und die Hygiene ist großartig. Typischer HolidayInn-Stil, geeignet für Geschäftsreisen. Wenn Sie ständig bleiben, müssen Sie das Schild vor zehn Uhr anbringen, sonst werden wir nicht die Initiative ergreifen, um zu reinigen. Um die Kosten zu kontrollieren. Das Frühstück ist sehr gesund und im westlichen Stil, voller Aufrichtigkeit. Es gibt viele kleine Restaurants in der Umgebung, die eine gute Auswahl bieten. Zwei Minuten entfernt befindet sich die größte Fußgängerzone am Citizen Square, fünf Minuten entfernt befindet sich das größte Einkaufszentrum der Gegend, zehn Minuten entfernt befindet sich der Bahnhof und zehn Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt befindet sich die Schnellstraße.

Very good CBD location and walking distance to nearby restaurants ! I was happy to have a walk in this old CBD.

Wir kommen mehrmals im Jahr in dieses Hotel. Hier kann nur die volle Punktzahl gegeben werden. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück- nebst Personal- ist wirklich hervorragend. Überhaupt ist das gesamte Personal super freundlich und sehr kompetent. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen. Dankeschön!

Das Hotel war ziemlich neu, sauber und im Zentrum der Stadt. Ich blieb fast zwei Wochen. Leider steht kein Fitnessstudio zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, nichts zu beanstanden. Das Parken in der Hotelgarage ist sehr teuer. Ich empfehle das Parken im Einkaufszentrum, 5 Minuten zu Fuß (4 Euro pro Tag). Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Basic hotel that does the job but the rooms are very small and the entire hotel is dated. Paid parking is available underneath the hotel which we made use of, but there was a policy in place where you could not come and go in the car as you pleased, and you had to wait in line at reception every time (a slow process of sometimes 20-30 minutes) where they wanted you to pay for the time spent in the car park, to then pay again the next time you wanted to pop out. The nature of our trip meant that we needed to come and go quite often throughout our stay as we needed to make journeys in the car. Every other hotel we used on our trip operated a simpler flat daily fee and you could then come and go as you pleased. We did manage to sort it out in the end thanks to one of the staff members but it was quite frustrating.

We have stayed at hundreds of hotels, big and small, 2 star to 5 star. This hotel does many things well but falls down in other areas. The positives: friendly and accommodating staff, clean room and property, secure bicycle storage, walking distance to restaurants, quiet room, comfortable bed, quick elevators, good room lighting, good water pressure in sink and shower, kettle in room. The negatives: what they call air conditioning doesn’t even begin to cool down the room. The air conditioning is great in then lobby for the staff but the “air conditioning in your room is pathetic. What is worse is that they can’t even give you a fan to use to cool down. How about at least installing some ceiling fans? Also the window tilts but does not open so you can’t relieve the stifling air in your room Also the breakfast is minimal at best. You will enjoy your stay if you don’t mind sweating in your bed at night. We wouldn’t stay here again.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Holiday Inn Express Recklinghausen. The management was extremely unhelpful and unresponsive to my request for a waiver due to an issue I encountered as a guest. Despite explaining my situation in detail, I received no support or consideration from the staff. This lack of customer service and empathy was very frustrating and unlike any experience I’ve had at other Holiday Inn properties. I would not recommend staying here due to the poor management and their unwillingness to assist guests with legitimate concerns.
