A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful team of staff. Can’t recommend their names but everyone was attentive to our needs and requests.
The rooms are in three or four, detached houses located next to each other, giving it a cosy, private resort-like place. There s small pools with lounges which is perfect for those who want to laze around.
Location is away from the centre, but it works if you like it this way. Bolt rides are cheap, so this wasn’t a problem to go and return from the centre.

Fine værelser, men sengene var ret hårde. Venlig personale. Nogle steder virkede hotellet lidt slidt, men overordnet et positivt ophold og kunne godt finde på at holde ferie der igen.

Das Hotel Solar de Mos ist zu Fuß etwas weit vom Zentrum entfernt, verfügt aber dennoch über attraktive Pluspunkte, den freundlichen Empfang, Parkplätze und kostenloses WLAN. Das Hotel selbst hat eine etwas veraltete Einrichtung und könnte eine kleine Modernisierung vertragen. Den Zimmern fehlt es jedoch an nichts und sie sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir waren außerhalb der Saison dort, aber ich denke, dass es in diesem Lokal mitten im Sommer viel lauter sein muss. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich, aber ohne viel Originalität, es wird in einem recht dunklen Raum im Erdgeschoss serviert. Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Swimmingpool, was ihm einen erheblichen Vorteil verschafft!

Ich war in diesem Hotel und liebte die Erfahrung. Super aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Komfortable Unterkünfte. Leckeres Frühstück. Am Ende ist alles perfekt. 👏👏👏Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder👏👏👏👏Sehr schön, in einem Hotel so viel Positives zu finden.

Originally booked for 2 nights, we stayed 6. We were in the main building, 103 with a view of the pool. Room was comfortable and included a fridge. Shower only, no tub. Bed was nice and firm. Small balcony with table and 3 chairs. Breakfast buffet was fine. 5 minute walk to good grocery store, 6 minutes to a dive bar and 10 minutes to an excelkent Indian restaurant. But the key to this hotel's warm and welcoming feeling is the staff. Rita, Carla, the granola lady, George (and his twin brother George) were phenomenal. They are genuinely interested in ensuring you have a great time during your trip. Can't say enough about this place as you can see. I will remember this place and the people for a long time.

It was quiet due to the distance from city center. Nice casual dining area within 5 min. walk but limited choices. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with good selection.

This is our third stay at Solar de Mos, although due to Covid and my partner’s ill health we haven’t been back for a while. We missed it. Why is that…well it offers a friendly, relaxing environment, not too far, but far enough away, from the bustle of the town centre. The new wings offer excellent quality rooms which are well kept and very clean. And parking is easy outside in the side street. There is a small bar if one wants a night-cap after a dinner down town and the breakfast offers a selection including some hot items, which is fine in the climate. All of that is good but it wouldn’t make for a happy holiday if the staff weren’t friendly. And that is where Solar de Mos excels. From check-in to check-out everyone was kind and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble, and it’s the main reason we will continue to come here when next in Lagos. Thanks for making it a happy holiday. Obrigado.
