Motel 6-Rapid City, SD

The rudest staff i've ever dealt with! I had to change rooms 5 times because there was no fridge (need it for life-saving meds) the windows were cracked, no curtains, blood stains on the sheets, no towels, no TV remote, the floor was absolutely disgusting (my socks were black after 1 hour of walking on the floor), there were about 50 flies in the room I had to go buy a fly swatter, I had to get my room key reset 4 times because the lady at the front desk didn't know how to program it. Extremely rude staff, told me we learn how to wait in kindergarten! Awful hotel, rubbish bins were over flowing, I cannot recommend you STAY AWAY from this hotel enough!

This was not only the most disgusting Motel 6 I've ever been in but the most filthy health hazard out of any hotel/motel I've ever seen in my life. Given room 123 by some kid who looked like he didn't want to be there, and he didn't, dressed like he just came from the beach. First, the TV had no remote so he lifted one from another room, then the desk had no chair so I had to use a lawn chair, the door had no latch on it, busted off, the walls had holes in them, around the toilet was stained, as if overflowed many times. The worst was the mold coming through the walls in the bathroom (see pics). The last straw was the door itself didn't lock. He said he would have someone look at it but after 10 minutes I went outside and he he was too busy with his buddies, shirtless by the way, hanging out. I went into the office and the young girl gave me room 134. A little less disgusting but disgusting all the same, same filthy lines mold in the shower cracked walls broken furniture (see Pics)

Horrible. Dirty. Traumatizing. Awful customer service, arrogant and super unprofessional. We couldn't stay. We left, in the middle of the night after 14 hours driving, tired and disgusted. One good thing - they returned our money. Never try it!

Shweta had stains on them. Floors were dirty. Shower wasn't even cleaned had previous guests Bobby pins in the shower. Looked like the room was never cleaned from the previous guest. Waste of money even staying here. No wonder they made u prepay cause that way u can't get a refund once u found out terrible the room is. Stay away from this place it is a junk heap

I’m not sure I’ve ever given any thing a bad review, however I would advise this property to shut down until it lives up to the pictures that are shown online. We felt they falsely represented their property. Our accommodations were not clean. I did not feel safe on property, was concerned that my vehicle would be broken into overnight. The TV didn’t work. I had two rooms and one didn’t have a shower curtain. Like at all. The bedding was either dirty or stained, either way, gross. Seriously contemplated trying to get a room in a different motel.

This is the worst hotel ever. We had two rooms that were filthy, disgusting, smelly with no water. Manager wouldn’t give me a refund. Walked into our room. It’s horrible. Don’t waste your money. Go down the road much better. The manager here won’t give refunds. Not a good place.
