We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our Morocco trip. This Riad has about 8 or so rooms/suites and is located at the northern end of the medina (old city) of Rabat in a quiet, narrow street. It’s tucked away but straightforward to find with Google maps and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. This Riad combines the beauty of a historic building, Moorish in style, with the conveniences of a modern boutique hotel. It’s very stylish and clean. Our room had a fridge, safe, TV with some English channels, a kettle etc. Bed was good, linen, pillows and towels all high quality. WiFi worked very well and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. It’s quite ‘gadgety’, with electric blinds and buttons for lights and an iPad for something, it took me a day or so to get to grips with it all. The hotel serves a delicious traditional breakfast. There is a rooftop pool with a view across the medina which is lovely, but unheated so a bit nippy for me. There are some sun loungers and a shaded seating area. Some people may consider that this Riad has been over restored and does not offer a ‘real’ Riad experience. But this Riad has several advantages. It is much quieter than the more traditional type (which usually have no sound proofing) , is more accessible because it has a lift and doesn’t have steep narrow stairs or low doorways, and has sliding glass windows which keep biting insects out. The staff here are very kind and helpful and made a real effort to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 days here, the weather was beautiful and Rabat is a lovely clean green city. The Rabat medina is nice to walk around, much calmer than Marrakesh and comparatively easy to navigate as it’s on more of a grid pattern. The tram is a 10 minute walk away and is handy for getting around town, it’s cheap (about 50p a trip) clean, safe and reliable. Most of the local restaurants do not serve alcohol, however we found a few places that did, we can particularly recommend BazArt. A transfer to the airport cost 250 dhs and takes about 20 minutes. We would stay here again if we returned to Rabat.

This was our first Riad in Morocco and it was our favorite! The Riad is beautiful, the staff were very friendly, and our room was a relaxing escape after our tours during the hot July days. The room had its own router, so WiFi service was excellent and the room also had A/C which was needed in July. Being in the medina, it was surprisingly quiet, but yet still close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are wanting to stay in a Riad in Rabat. It is near the edge of the medina, so you have easy access inside and outside the medina.

Sie ist die Seele des Hauses. Ihr liegt am Herzen, dass es Ihnen gut geht. Eine Ruhe strahlt sie aus mit gleichzeitiger Souveränität. Ich verreise oft, eine Dame wie Frau IBTISSAM habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Einfach toll! So freundlich und stets hilfsbereit bei allen Angelegenheiten rum um den Aufenthalt in Rabat. Ich möchte DANKE sagen.

Hôtel remarquable. Bien situé avec du personnel attentif et prévenant. Belle chambre. Nous avons eu une place de parking devant l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner excellent sous forme de buffet. Nous avons pu bénéficier également du restaurant où nous avons très bien dîner. On peut également y prendre un verre, avec une ambiance jazzi et très sympa.

Dieses Hotel hat eine großartige Lage, in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufszentren. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel, mit kompletter Ausstattung und freundlichem und aufmerksamem Servicepersonal. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der Zimmerpreis etwas höher ist. Alles in allem ist es ein Hotel mit tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und es lohnt sich, es anderen zu empfehlen.

We stayed here as part of a group tour to Morocco, and unfortunately, this hotel was the worst hotel that we stayed at on our trip. It seems that in Morocco there is no standardization as to what a star-rating is in hotels. Knowing that this was a 4-star hotel and having stayed at a lovely 4-star hotel in Casablanca on the previous day, we were looking forward to our stay at Belere and expecting the standards to be consistent. To our dismay, this was not the case. Our room at least was clean enough, although it was small. But our bathroom was filled with mold and didn't feel clean, and we had a weird mold-riddled tub that was difficult to get into and out of. There was no safe in our room at all. The meals there, frankly, were disappointing. Compared to the spread at the previous hotel in Casablanca, there was not a good selection of food, and the food that was served was not tasty at all. Staff in the restaurant appeared indifferent, and at times surly. The common areas adjacent to the restaurant, including the common bathroom areas were horribly dirty. The hygeine was definitely not up to any standard, and it left one wondering whether we would get sick eating the food at this hotel. And in fact, shortly after our stay here, my husband and I did come down with a case of traveller's diarrhea which only recently cleared up. The few good aspects to this hotel: The location is immediately adjacent to the Royal Palace, so is convenient from a touring perspective. The front desk staff were polite, sweet and helpful. The last positive is that when our tour arrived to the hotel after a long day of travel, we were greeted in the lobby with mint tea and yummy cookies. Unfortunately, all in all, everyone on our tour was thankful that we only had to stay one night in this hotel. We certainly would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Ich verbrachte eine Woche in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war im vierten Stock mit Balkon, hyper sauber und komfortabel! Das Personal hat einen wahren Sinn für den Kundenservice, sie sind empfänglich, lachend, effizient, nichts zu sagen !! Die Hausfrau verbringt jeden Tag, es reicht, um zu fragen an die Gaststätte. Die Küche ist funktional, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine, ein Mini-Ofen. Es ist super gut gelegen, Sie sind 7mn zu Fuß von Ariba Center. Super Aufenthalt, ich würde nicht zögern, zurückzukommen!!

It would of been a much better review except for the staff, the receptionist told us upon check in that our room would be ready in a few minutes, 40 minutes later I had to approach them, than all of a sudden our room was ready, the staff that work here are not friendly at all, especially in the breakfast room they were very rude and abrupt, one staff member was so upset that we did not use a tray, we didn't see them, but he over reacted, location was horrible we were far from everything, could not figure out the transportation, taxis are not very honest, so if you want to walk everywhere not a good choice, now for the good, there is a bar on site, rooms were very nice and clean, lobby area was very nice and bright, the bartender was very friendly, close to the train station if you are taking trains, we only stayed for 2 nights, staff need to improve their people skills, your in hospitality and need a good personality

Wir waren mit unserem Baby für zwei Nächte im neu eröffneten Conrad Rabat Arzana und hatten einen traumhaften Kurzurlaub, in dem wir uns sehr gut erholen konnten. Alle Mitarbeiter sind ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, begrüßen einen herzlich mit einem Lächeln und auch unsere Tochter wurde nicht nur wahrgenommen sondern auch willkommen geheißen. Rezeption und Guest Relation standen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, man konnte sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Obwohl es unser erster Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war, fühlte es sich an, wie nach Hause kommen. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit einem unvergesslichen Ausblick auf den Atlantik. Die luxuriöse Ausstattung wie auch die Liebe zum Detail im Zimmer und auf der gesamten Anlage sind einzigartig. Wir waren im Restaurant La Brise zum Frühstück und Abendessen und zum Tee trinken in der Feuillage Tea Lounge. Der Service war überragend. Es gibt sowohl marokkanische als auch internationale Speisen und Getränke. Uns hat es ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und auch das Auge isst hier definitiv mit. Sehr zu empfehlen sind auf jeden Fall der marokkanische Tee und der Salat Brise, unbedingt probieren! Wir waren mit unserer Tochter nur kurz im Kids Club, da sie noch recht klein ist. Dort wurde sie herzlich begrüßt und es wurde liebevoll mit ihr gespielt. Es gibt einen Bereich drinnen und draußen und jede Menge Spielsachen, welche jedes Kinderherz höher schlagen lassen. Wir konnten aufgrund des Wetters nur kurz den Poolbereich nutzen, freuen uns aber schon bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt hier entspannen zu können, denn dafür lädt er definitiv ein. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und danken dem gesamten Team für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, welcher uns immer in freudiger Erinnerung bleiben wird.
