Was für ein schönes und nostalgisches Hotel...Unser Zimmer hatte unser eigenes Laufbad komplett mit geputzten Lounge-Stühlen...glückliche Stunde war ein 2 für 1 Deal und das Personal konnte nicht mehr untergebracht und freundlich gewesen...Wir schwammen und loungeten im Hauptpool...so entspannend! Ein kostenloses Frühstück wurde mit unserem Zimmer (andere Frühstücksartikel zusätzlich zur Verfügung gestellt).. nur genug, um unsere Morgenfrau zu beginnen, bevor wir den Tag ausgehen! Pre COVID Ich bin sicher, dass die Außenpoolbar offen sein würde, was immer ein Plus ist, wenn wir am Pool aushängen! Sicherlich auf unserer Liste, wenn wir nächstes Jahr nach Costa Rica zurückkehren!

The terrific reviews are all accurate. Staff are always helpful (special shout out to Maria who was there basically around the clock), food is great, rooms clean, AC Cold, location is great, grounds are beautiful and alive with nature. Bank is next door for currency exchange. Bus stop is just a few steps away. If birds are your thing the Hostel next door (Selina) has a rooftop deck that overlooks the jungle for excellent birding. There simply isn't enough room here to tell you just how great this place is.

Great activities included in Stay, me and my partner participated in the HIIT, the painting and the yoga session or the fitness hut is also great for doing own stretching routine. Location is central with nice places to eat around and the restaurant at Selina also has great options, the place is amazing for spotting wildlife such as toucans and sloths. We saw more wildlife here than at the national park. Easy bus ride to the beach. Amenities are ok, wifi not the best from the room but I had an eSIM for a few days so not an issue. Only thing was I wished we had a mini fridge for room to keep items such as water and milk. Really appreciated the daily housekeeping and upkeep of cleanliness. Overall really enjoyed stay.

This is a great hotel that is small enough to feel intimate but has most of the amenities of a large resort. Of course, the initial highlight is that the hotel is built into the forest and treats the land as a preserve. On top of that, many of the rooms have gorgeous views, and ours had a view of the ocean over the hills. The staff is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Even though they have some routines that make things easy to follow and access, the staff is more than willing to help or adjust if you need it. We drove in, and once there they reserved a parking spot for us near the cart / shuttle service for the entire stay! From the entrance / parking, a shuttle takes you to the main building (rain or shine…we never had to wait in the rain and it was pouring when we arrived). The facilities were outstanding and well-appointed. Don’t get me wrong, there are some features that are aged, but most things are very nice and everything is always super-clean. The pools are really nice. Small, but several levels allow for multiple infinity pool experiences, along with floating chairs if you prefer to hold your drink while floating. There is a “swim up” bar that I think is usually open from 12-5 but don’t quote me on that. The food was pretty good. IMO, stick with traditional dishes. Ceviche and traditional Costa Rican breakfast were our favorites, but everything we tried was pretty good. The drink menu is a little light. They offer enough choices, but there are not any high end liquors, and the wine is good but I do not believe I also any vintages that you might expect from a hotel of this caliber. Finally, the rooms were very very nice. Our son had his own “standard” room and it looked as nice as ours did, even though he did not have as much space. Our room was a suite with a bedroom, full bath with walk in shower, a private patio, and a living space complete with leather sofa (and pull out bed), dining table with chairs, and club style chairs to complete the seating area. All very comfortable. Our room also came with access to a private terrace on the top floor. This space also included seating and tables, umbrella, and curtained Chaises. Great views from there and the private patio! In short, we did not have enough time to enjoy all of the amenities even within our own room, but we were beyond comfortable and the views and vibe were amazing. One more thing: the owner has started a macaw restoration project, so you can see Scarlett macaws on the premise. We also saw many other bird species (this is an eBird hotspot for those who use it), heard monkeys, and enjoyed seeing sloths and iguanas on the premise (but not in or near the room 😊).

Wir blieben hier eine Woche zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr und dieser Ort war fantastisch. Die Villa war geräumig, die Betten sehr komfortabel, die AC funktionierte außergewöhnlich gut, und die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Der Pool war groß für einen Tauch nach einem langen Wandertag, und wir sahen sogar Spider und weißgesichts-Affen, während wir ausser sitzen! Eine hat sogar versucht, etwas Essen zu stehlen! Die Frühstücksbuffets waren lecker, beginnend mit einem Fruchtplatte, und dann haben Sie eine Auswahl von 5 verschiedenen Frühstücksarten. Wir alle liebten das Frühstück Tico (Eier, Reis & Bohnen, Pflanzen, Sauce und Tortillas. Delicioso!) Aber der beste Teil von Villas Mymosa ist das Personal. Alle von der Küche, den Reinigungsdamen, Kathy der Abendbart, Karen der Morgenserver, der Deutsche der Nachtwache und Amy und Kathia die Büromanager waren so freundlich und auf jeden Fall zu unserem Bedarf. Ich habe alle unsere Ausflüge durch Kathia reserviert und endlich einen neuen Freund gemacht! Die Villas befinden sich direkt in der Nähe des Bushaltepunktes, von dem Sie für weniger als 1 Dollar nach Quepos oder Manuel Antonio erreichen können. Ich empfehle Villas Mymosa.

Wir haben hier 6 Nächte für den letzten Teil unseres Hochzeits geblieben. Die Lage war für zu sterben, 5 Minuten zum MA National Park, 3 Minuten zum Strand und Minimarkt und zahlreiche Restaurants zu wählen. Das Bett war komfortabel, wir hatten AC im Zimmer sowie TV. Das kostenlose Frühstück am Morgen war ein riesiges Perk. Es gibt ein Buffet von Obst und Brot und Sie können aus einer Vielzahl von heißen Frühstücksartikeln auch wählen. Wir liebten die Pandecken! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell, hilfsbereit, um Touren zu buchen und uns mit Wein und einer Blumenarrangement überraschen, als sie es herausgefunden haben, war unser Hochzeitsmonat. Der Pool war auch großartig, um sich an einem langsamen Tag zu entspannen. Es gab auch viele Wildlife direkt auf der Sicht, was immer lustig ist!
