We wanted to stay close to the airport, a short drive to town, with easy access to the highway towards Te Anau/Milford Sound. This hotel ticked all the boxes. At first arrival, we entered the parking lot and noticed how tight and small the parking spots were. After an elevator ride up to the lobby, we met with staff who were very professional and kind. We went to our room which was nice and updated, had a great view, and a spacious floor plan. We did have an issue with the sink, where it was clogged when we got to the room. While we went to visit Queenstown, a staff member unclogged the sink but didn’t clean it so when we arrived back, the residue from the clogging was still in the sink. A disappointment, and ironically a perk, was the small balcony. Most of the small balcony was used up by an air conditioner. The positive is you had a nice view of the mountains and Queenstown. The bed was large and comfortable. The couch, living area, and kitchen were really nice. We really enjoyed the shower and took advantage of the hot water while we had it. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The DoubleTree cookies are always a plus too.

Das Front Desk-Personal ist hervorragend .Sehr hilfreich und freundlich . Die Zimmer sind wunderschön .. der im Zimmer Feuerplatz ist ein großer Touch ! Der Spa ist großartig - sehr professionell! Die Nahrungsmittel und Getränke müssen verbessert werden .Stacks sind ok.. Aber als ich ging, 1 Stunde vor dem Schließen sie waren mehr daran interessiert, zu schließen, als sie in meiner Bestellung richtig zu bekommen. Die Bar-Snacks am Pinot-Pit brauchen mehr Vielfalt und gesunde weniger teure Optionen.

Booked a 6 bdrm apartment, in one room we found a pair of disgusting slippers under the bed, a pair of socks left inside the wardrobe, and a bath towel hanging behind the door. Window latches gone off 2 windows and tv in second lounge didn't work. To their credit they did fix one window and taped the other shut - note, sellotape does not keep a window shut for long... There are also no plugs to any of the bathroom sinks - it's pretty disgusting brushing your teeth and looking down the sinkhole at previous guests hair :( We went for the 6 bdrm apartment so we could all be together (& also booked a 2 bdrm for extra family), I certainly paid a premium for this as we could have got a couple of 3 bdrm places for a lot less. I did expect it would be overall cleaner and nicer than what it actually was so was pretty disappointed. The bathroom items provided are basic and no facecloths provided. Only 2 dishwash cleans could be done with what was provided in kitchen. No coffee sachets except decaf, and while there was a hot choc tin, it was almost empty and I’m not using something that many others have stuck their hands in. The dining chairs fabric is disintegrating and bits of the white material end up all over the floor (we would have like to have vacuumed halfway thru our stay because of this but there was no vacuum cleaner or broom). Nowhere on their website (that I found) did it say the apartment was over 3 levels – something my 75 year old mother did struggle with a bit, again this would have been a flag for us. So overall, it was handy being together but the apartment seemed old and tired and really not worth the price we paid. I did email the place to relay all my concerns, they have chosen not to reply to me. I also see on their website they only have reviews that they have sourced from elsewhere (I can't leave this there direct) so they choose the good ones...

Die Aussicht über den See auf The Remarkables war erstaunlich. Einfacher Parkplatz - wichtig in Qtown, aber unser Zimmer wäre nicht für jemanden geeignet gewesen, der Treppen ein Problem findet. Das eingerichtete Zimmer war ausgezeichnet und wir genossen, ein Gasbrand. Das Personal war freundlich. Wir hatten eine Suite und genossen separate Lounge/ Schlafzimmer. Ein kleiner Schaufel/Dusch bedeutete, dass ein Bad von einem gehabt werden könnte. Eine Brisk 15min zu Fuß zum CBD. 6th Reise nach Qtown in 2 Jahren und ich würde zurück nach Pounamu kommen.

Ich blieb in einem King Mountain View Zimmer, und während das Zimmer fühlte sich klein, war es für die Tatsache, dass es neu, modern, gut konzipiert und komfortabel war. Der offene Plan-Eingang und Lobbybereich fühlte sich willkommen. Das im Zimmerpreis enthaltene Frühstücksbuffet war wesentlich und super bequem, um vor dem Aufstieg auf den Berg jeden Morgen früh zu fahren. Und glückliche Stunde in der Lobby in den Abenden 5-7pm. Es ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Stadtbeginn und 9 Minuten zu Fuß zum NZ Skibus. Auf der Rückfahrt zum Hotel gibt es einen Block von Steep Hill zu Fuß, aber es ist nur eine zweiminütige Sektion. Obwohl es nur einen kurzen Spaziergang in die Stadt war, nach einem ganzen Tag auf dem Schnee, reisen zurück und vierte zum Berg, war es schwer, die Energie zu bekommen, um in die Stadt zu Abend zu gehen, zu kalt und müde. Ich habe den Bus vom Flughafen zum Hotel gefangen, das super einfach und eine schnelle 20-minütige Fahrt war. Der Flughafenbushalte ist direkt außerhalb des Terminals. Ich habe eine Bee-Karte auf dem Bus für $5 gekauft und die Reise war nur $1 für Erwachsene und 0.75c für Kinder. Der Bus stand direkt auf Blue Peaks über die Straße vom Hotel. Und die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen war genauso einfach. Insgesamt ein großer Aufenthalt, mit neuen modernen Einrichtungen, eine ziemlich zentrale Lage und freundliches Personal.

Friendly front of house and house keeping staff. Although there are staffing shortages everywhere, the staff here were always available and helpful. Our house keeping team although on a 3 day turn around service, did not get to service our room while we were there, offered towels and extra tea, coffee without hesitation when requested. Thank you so much! The decor is quite out dated and while at first it was off putting, (cream/green interior hallway and furniture, corridor stained carpets, seeing the size of our room and how clean it was made up for it. The bed was a king/possible super king, very comfortable and extra pillows provided. The continental breakfast is more than sufficient. Again the waiting staff I approached where happy to top up, add more (the pastries). Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location was the best part for us. It was very central in Queenstown and surrounded with many good restaurants, bars and shops. If you are planning on skiing or doing an excursion there are many pick up spots and tour operators near the hostel as well. The room was a good spot to sleep. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and they provided a nice small space heater to keep the room warm if needed. We didn't have any body wash on our first night in the shower, we reported to the front desk and they gave us a couple of bars and we were told that they would replace in the morning but when we came back it was unfortunately not replaced but we did get another small bar of soap. The remote in the room was disgusting and covered in what I imagine was at one point part of some good fried chicken or possibly pizza but everything else seemed to be fine. Check in was a little tricky because there is self check in/check out tablets at the entrance. We couldn't figure out the right combination of booking reference number and name because we had received Jucy's confirmation code in a separate email. The attendant did offer to help us out but we got the right combo at that very moment. You can pick your cards to activate them and we had no issues with this part but later that evening my card deactivated and I went to the front desk a second time to get it working on our first night. The hotel has some very good signage and arrows to tell you where your rooms are and the amenities (rooftop bar/restaurant, laundry room and kitchen area). The hotel seems to be more of a party hotel and when we arrived there was lots of drinking and people having a good time. This went well into the night and the noise seemed to travel well down the hallway from the rooms that were hosting. We could also hear our neighbour coming and going throughout the first night but it was relatively quiet between 12-6. We picked this hostel for the location and to save a little bit of money for excursions. It did get very busy in our area the first night we were there but after that we had no issues with the traffic. It was a 15 minute ride to the airport in the Uber and the bus stops at the nearby Stanley St bus hub and only takes about 25 minutes to go to/from the airport with limited traffic.

We are a family of three and we spent nine nights at the Crowne Plaza in Queenstown. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location but these are the only positives. We had complimentary breakfast for nine days but didn't eat it once during our stay. We attempted breakfast but it was well below average. I can recommend the orange juice but we much preferred to go elsewhere for our morning coffee and a bite to eat. We also ate at the restaurant on the first night but that was enough for us. This was also below average and we never returned during the remaining eight nights. The hotel is very much a three star hotel standard. It's an ageing property with small rooms and very limited hotel amenities. The hotel isn't cheap and I would say that it doesn't represent good value for money. This is one of the worst IHG hotels that we have visited. We were actually looking forward to leave, which was a shame as Queenstown itself is stunning. We are now spending a few nights in the Hilton Hotel in Auckland before returning to Australia. In all honesty we all had a huge smile when we checked in to the Hilton and felt so relived to be back in the type of hotel that we are used to.

Ich kann nicht glauben, wie gut dieser Ort war! ... Wir haben für 6 von uns ein privates 8-Bett-Dorm bekommen, das Zimmer selbst war etwas heiß, aber das Personal brachte uns schnell einen Fan, der massiv half. Die Toiletten und Duschen waren so gut gepflegt und der Lounge, Waschmaschine und Trocknungsräume machten den gesamten Prozess so einfach. Küche ist absolut riesig und perfekt, wenn Sie planen, dort zu essen. Aber das Personal war etwas anderes, unglaublich freundlich und eine Dame hat mir sogar 50c aus ihrer eigenen Tasche für die Lockers geleistet, hat es nicht getan, aber wollte mir helfen! ... Ein absolutes Gemt! Ich werde definitiv hier in Zukunft wieder bleiben.

Großes Autohotel, der Hotelgarten ist ein großer Park. Es gibt einen großen Gras und einen Ballplatz. Sehr ruhig. Es gibt eine separate Region, das Zimmer ist nicht groß, kann man 2-3 Menschen leben, es gibt eine öffentliche Küche, sehr groß, es gibt kein Problem mit der Kochen. Spezial-öffentliches Badezimmer und Badezimmer, es gibt auch Gäste im Geschäft, die eine Minute von dem Zimmer gehen. Es gibt einen 5-minütigen Spaziergang. Es gibt einen 10-minütigen Spaziergang vom Zentrum der Stadt, weniger als 20 Kilometer von der Königin Stadt, 20 Minuten Fahren. Der Preis für die gleiche Wohneinheit in der Königin Stadt ist halb so billig.
