Location is weird, doesn't feel like there's too much local. I was here for only the 2 days. Cannot fault the cleanliness or the facilities. The service was a little frustrating, having to pay extra to get access to my room earlier, then of course knowing that the room is already ready for me. The same could be found on check out.

I spent a very pleasant week at Oonas Dive Club from 8 to 15 October 2023. I have been there many times before. Three dives a day are available from the splendid Club boat, which glories in the name of OBI WAN. The boat's captain and crew are superb; the dive guides highly professional and unfailingly helpful. One leaves the very well managed Dive Centre by minibus at about 8am, returning around 5pm. Luncheon is available on the boat, and very good it is too! Oonas provides accommodation, food and drink of a good standard at the Club, with the staff being friendly and efficient. One's fellow divers are an eclectic bunch who make for interesting company. While most are from the United Kingdom, other nationalities add flavour to the mix. Age and experience range widely and everyone gets on commendably well. My only slightly negative comment concerns the noise of outdoor entertainment from about 9pm to midnight, provided by an entirely separate establishment about 200 metres away. But I am an ancient diver who is a light sleeper and goes to bed early. Younger folk may well enjoy such excitements and, of course, item three of the dive/eat/sleep routine on the boat can compensate for any deficit. In short, if you want shore-based day-boat diving in Egypt, you cannot get better than wonderful Oonas!

Zum Strand 2km und zur Altstadt 3km können Sie zu Fuß gehen. Keine Animationen! Der Tag der Fliege, durch den Abend kleine böse Moskitos, das Gebiet nicht verarbeitet. Das Hotel ist nicht groß und die Menschen sind klein, so gab es keinen Druck und es gab keine Warteschlange im Essensraum, eine Menge freier Tische. Food 4: nicht sehr vielfältiges Essen, zumindest ”Fleisch” oder Fisch, aber alles ist sehr lecker, Obst sind grüne Duck und sehr lecker Orange. Bar 4: Alkohol stark ohne Grenzen, Wein ist nicht verfügbar, Bier 1 Flasche pro Person) Meer 5: ausgezeichnet, Es gibt viele interessante Dinge zu sehen, schwimmen und schwimmen.
