Sehr schlecht! Wollte abreissen aber haben uns die Bezahlung nicht returniert! Frechheit! Hier mein Brief der Leitung:Buenas noches Maria Elena! Por favor, páselo al gerente del hotel, veo que no tiene voluntad de solucionar los problemas de su hotel. No nos interesa el traslado que usted ofrece, ¡estamos de vacaciones en un hotel *****! Al parecer, no parece haber nadie en este hotel que entienda lo sucedido. Estamos completamente insatisfechos con las siguientes cosas en su ***** hotel Grand Residences. ¡Su hotel no tiene derecho a utilizar 5 estrellas! 1. ¡Recibimos un correo electrónico con una reserva que no se puede responder! ¡En ninguna parte de esta reserva hay una dirección de correo electrónico a la que sea posible responder! ¡Intenté escribir varias veces que no estamos de acuerdo con el sistema de todo incluido! 2. Cuando llegamos, volví a desear un sistema sin todo incluido. Venimos de la guerra en Europa y lo único que necesitábamos era dormir en el calor y junto al mar. No fue posible cancelar todo incluido. ¡Pagamos el 100% del importe del alojamiento en su hotel por adelantado! ¡Es completamente inaceptable en un hotel *****! Nunca nos ha pasado en ningún lado. 3. En el chiringuito de la playa, mi mujer comió unas patatas fritas que la enfermaron durante dos días. 4. Al día siguiente cambiamos de habitación. Acordamos en la recepción que iríamos a nuestra habitación, empacaríamos y esperaríamos allí a que alguien viniera a trasladarnos. Esperamos más de una hora con todas las cosas en el pasillo a pesar de que llamé 3 veces a recepción! 5. En la nueva habitación I-301 el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y, lo peor, no había agua caliente (9.2.). Le dije al personal que encontré en el pasillo y escribí a la recepción. nadie vino a arreglar las cosas! La cena frutti di mare no estuvo al nivel de un hotel de primera, lo peor fue la falta de repostería salada.Incluso por la noche no había agua caliente y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba. ¡A eso de las 2:00 am el aire acondicionado se encendió a 15 grados centígrados! ¡Ella no lo apagó! Al día siguiente volví a informar de todo a recepción, la reparación no llegó. Así que fui a conserjería y allí volví a informar de todo. 6.Pedí nuevamente cancelar el todo incluido porque recibimos comida no comestible (costillas) en el restaurante. Señora, le he dictado 8 puntos con los que no estamos satisfechos. De nuevo no pasó nada. Por la noche fui a ver a la jefa de recepción y le pregunté si conocía todas las quejas. Ella no sabía nada porque nadie le transmitió nuestras quejas. La criada, Cecile Dzib, llamó al encargado de mantenimiento, quien abrió el agua caliente en el pasillo. Luego arregló el aire acondicionado, era sábado por la noche. Se lo repetí todo a María Elena y me prometió cita el lunes a las 12:00. Ella no vino a esta reunión!Lo consideré y pedí 1. Unsere Wahl fiel auf dieses Hotel, weil es direkt am Meer und doch nicht abseits eines Ortes liegt: Die Lage am Ortsrand macht es möglich, das Zentrum von Puerto Morelos zu Fuss in einer knappen Viertelstunde zu erreichen (zudem gibt es regelmässig Colectivos und natürlich Taxis). Der Strandabschnitt vor dem Hotel wird täglich gepflegt, und sowohl im Meer als auch in den beiden Pools war das Schwimmen herrlich. Das Zimmer war gross und komfortabel, die Aussicht trotz fehlender Meersicht ansprechend. Wir haben für unseren Aufenthalt einen guten Preis bezahlt, und insofern waren wir mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut zufrieden. Dieses würde für mich jedoch nicht stimmen, wenn ich den vom Hotel publizierten Preis bezahlt hätte. Da hätte ich z.B. mehr Umschwung und mehr allgemein verfügbaren Raum im und rund ums Hotel erwartet. Auch hätte ich den regelmässig wiederkehrenden Lärm morgens und abends - vermutlich durch Umherrücken von Mobiliar auf der Dachterrasse (2 Stockwerke über unserem Zimmer) - weniger akzeptabel gefunden. Und auch wenn das Hotel nicht für das Benehmen der Gäste verantwortlich gemacht werden kann, so wäre aus meiner Sicht angezeigt, dass das Personal Gästen untersagt, Füsse in der Hotelhalle auf den Tisch zu legen. Generell ist die Preisgestaltung nicht so transparent und mitunter absurd - zumindest für Gäste, die nicht 'all inclusive' gebucht haben: Unklar z.B., ob bzw. welche Preise für Liegen oder 'Körbe' am Strand erhoben werden. So hätten wir an einem Tag für eine Art Liegekorb 150 USD (!) pro Tag bezahlen müssen - am Vortag wurde nichts verlangt. Übrigens ist das Hotel auf Buchungsplattformen auch unter den Namen 'RoMarley Beach House' sowie 'Epic Oceanfront' zu finden - mit ganz unterschiedlichen Preisen für vergleichbare Angebote. Was zu einer allfälligen Verwirrung mit beitragen kann: Der Standort des Hotels wird teilweise falsch angezeigt.

We just got home from a week at Desire Pearl and we were sorry to leave this wonderful resort. We had a relaxing week of doing nothing but walking the beach, lying in our poolside bed and over-indulging at the swim up bar. We loved all three restaurants and our junior suite with a plunge pool (right on the beach) was amazing. But the real reason we enjoyed our stay so immensely was the outstanding staff. Whoever heads the HR department for this resort has a remarkable ability to hire the kindest, most energetic and most sincere men and women. We've stayed at Pearl over 20 times and keep returning due to the care and service we receive - from the moment we arrive until we depart (sadly) for the airport. During this stay when we arrived we were greeted by ALEXIS with a huge hug and a helping hand (as always). FRANK at the front desk made our check-in process seamless and was able to upgrade us to our favorite room (Starfish building room 76). Once unpacked, we were given a poolside bed by MIGUEL and for the following week he and VICTOR, HORATIO and ANTONIO ensured we had our place by the pool. The four of them work non-stop to keep everyone in beds and chairs. And you can't walk by their station without receiving a hug or a high five. We ate at all three restaurants and are torn between Pearl and Suki as to which we liked best. At Pearl we were always greeted by one of the resorts most talented and dedicated employees, CECI. She is an amazing women who can answer any question about the resort and who we've watched develop as one of the resort's most valuable assets. She works non-stop but always makes time to visit with us and make us feel like we're part of the Desire family. At Pearl ISAAC provided us with amazing service, Spanish lessons, and many laughs as well - he is a true gentleman and represents their resort extremely well. The food was amazing and is rotated every three days, between Mediterranian, Italian and French. We also greatly enjoyed our meals at Suki, where SANTIAGO and BELEN provided us with excellent service - our drinks were never empty and they happily accomodated a special request that made our meal healthier and more to our liking. The breakfast and lunch buffets are excellent as well, with many healthy choices, always a huge selection of fresh fruit and made to order dishes like omelets, tacos and pizzas. Our morning always started with espresso from the coffee bar, made with a smile and energetic ”good morning” by either YOLANDA or SERVANDO, followed by breakfast where the very sweet hostess ESMERALDA always greeted us with her big smile and warm hello. ESTEFANY and WILBERT provided us excellent service during our breakfast and lunches, they were both so kind and helpful. During the day we hung in our poolside bed or at the swim up bar and our drinks were never empty thanks to SERVANDO, GABI and YOLANDA. The three of them must walk ten miles a day. But they do it with an amazing attitude and always seem to enjoy

Das Essen war zum Abendessen überdurchschnittlich gut. Die Kellner sind alle sehr aufmerksam und haben unserer Gruppe sehr gute Empfehlungen gegeben. Frühstück und Mittagessen nicht sehr gut. Empfehlen Sie die Bestellung von der Speisekarte, nicht vom Buffet. Das Fitnessstudio ist das Beste, was ich auf meinen Reisen gesehen habe. Das Personal muss die Leute davon abhalten, bestimmte stark nachgefragte Geräte in Beschlag zu nehmen. Das zweite Fitnessstudio im Grand war auch gut für Zeiten mit hoher Nachfrage. Strand ist nur ok, aber die Pools sind wunderschön und der Getränkeservice ist unschlagbar. Alle erstklassigen Spirituosen, einige kleinere Beschwerden von anderen Reisenden über die Bierauswahl. Hotel in tollem Zustand, Parken war nicht gut organisiert und Unterhaltung war durchschnittlich.
