Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Die Lage ist fantastisch, abgesehen vom Strand. Der Strand, an dem sich das Resort befand, hatte eine Menge Algen, sodass wir nicht wirklich am Strand schwimmen konnten, aber keine große Sache, denn die Pools und Whirlpools hier sind fabelhaft! Sie werden nicht einmal den Strand verpassen! Das Essen war unglaublich, es gibt eine Vielzahl von Restaurants im Resort. Alle Arten von Vielfalt. Der Zimmerservice war etwas langsam, aber es ist auch ein großes Resort, also können Sie es ihnen wirklich verdenken? Insgesamt 10/10 würde empfehlen

I love these properties; this was my second stay. Only have a few complaints (1) They changed the room service tray policy. We used to just set it outside, now they want you to call to have it picked up and you have to wait for pickup. This would not have been an issue except not once did they actually come to pick it up when we called so we waited around several times just for no one to show up, we always had to just end up leaving the tray outside after waiting over an hour each time. (2) There is nothing close by these resorts, so it is convenient that they have a couple stores on site with some emergency items. Issue is the stores are often just closed with a will reopen in 30 minute sign but didn't reopen in 30 minutes, the sign just stayed up all day. (3) I got super bad food poisoning this trip, ruined the last couple days. =( (4) We paid for an (expensive) upgrade to a room with a jetted tub in it but it was never cleaned, not once. We did ask for our room to be cleaned but the tub was never touched. Terrible for an "upgrade". (5) They need to do something about people locking down every chair by the adult pools but then never using them. It ruins it for those who would use a chair. Out of 8 days, we were only able to get lounge chairs by the adult pool once. Other than those minor things, still a GREAT place to stay.

We stayed for 6 nights and were able to enjoy the resort fully. Our room was very clean on arrival and was cleaned every day for us. The staff also does a turn down service without being asked, which was a nice surprise each evening. The dining options are nice, concierge was very helpful getting us reservations to most of their restaurants for dinner. El Mercado buffet, was very convenient for lunch and has a wide range of options so nothing becomes boring. They have a cafe, that opens at 7am and we thoroughly enjoyed their coffee and pastries every morning since we are early risers but don’t get super hungry that early. Breakfast places are all over the 3 properties and are also very good. The pools and bars are also great! The staff is very friendly and respectful. We stayed at Ventus, and did not feel the need to venture to the other pools, but it was very nice to know we could if we wanted to. Now for the down sides; if you are looking for a long spacious beach, that is not found here. The beach is nice, the water is clear, BUT because of the coral reef that this area is known for (the second largest on the world) the beach is rocky and not as beautiful as further north in Cancun or south in Tulum. However, it is there for your limited enjoyment. We ventured off property for a beach day. The only other thing is the WiFi, if you are constantly on your phone, signal at the resort is not great. Overall, we loved this resort and would go back.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, my requests were always accommodated, the Food was a mix, some mediocre, some good, some great, the Ceviche was just excellent, KOBO was out of this world, the pools were good, and the temperature-controlled pools were just fantastic, the gyms were good, looking at the ocean while doing cardio was terrific, I have stayed at better all-inclusive resorts but with a different budget, so I will not compare apples to oranges; the money spent for the Holiday season was well spent. The beach is probably the only thing I did not like, but I knew that from the pictures and reviews. Recommended.

Property had everything that a tourist needs in terms of food and drinks. Beach was not tht great.

Spent christmas and new years The place was awsome live music great food great people meet some new friends we will be back for sure thank u to the great staff and awsome people

It was my first time at this resort and it was absolutely beautiful. The service from the staff throughout the resort from the bell boys, receptionists, waiters, servers at the pools and beach, bartenders and butlers were all amazing and my butlers Ivan and Cali went above and beyond to make sure my visit was exceptional. I will definately return as this resort is clean,fun, festive and welcoming.

Our vacation was amazing!!! Our Butlers, Cali and Ivan were amazing!!! They made sure all of our dinner reservations were set up, stocked our refrigerator and checked in with us to ensure we were having a great time. We will be back soon!

Property seemed nice and we had an upgraded ocean view room. After we discovered the room had tons of cockroaches we changed rooms late at night but lost our upgraded room and was not offered anything further. They would not give us any money back. Lots of repairs were also being done during the stay.
