Apartamentos Corona Mar

This was the first time we have stayed at Corona Mar, what a great place to stay ,the most chilled out place ever , such an enjoyable holiday. The Place is spotless , the maids do a fantastic job cleaning and they always look happy ! Rooms are spacious and have everything you need . The Reception staff are all friendly and helpful . Previous reviews mentioned the steps , yes there are a lot of steps, to get to the apartments , but they are not that steep , I can assure you it is worth the climb . We can't wait to return in Jan 2025

Always a fabulous stay at the Corona Mar, I think this was our 10th stay with Nieves and her team and we look forward to our 11th visit at Christmas. We usually only go at Christmas so it was nice to see the pool area much busier than it is at Christmas. Plenty of sunbeds to go around and no sunbed wars here.

What an amazing stay me and my bestfriend had. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who couldn’t be more helpful, even offered to help with our cases! Our room was amazing, so so clean! Beautiful balcony with the sun on it all day. The cleaners were fantastic very well mannered and constantly aiming to please. As a young woman I have never felt more safe. Thank you for making our holiday, we will be returning in March!

Clean apartment and well equipped, with the exception that all tv channels were everything but in English. (Sometimes on a night it is a preference to watch tv). Please note there is NO air conditioning. I would imagine the Summer would be horrendous with just one fan. Ok. Steps. Lots of steps. 59 to be precise. You can enjoy the Rocky Balboa experience everyday! They do say there is a back gate, but you end up walking at least a mile downhill to get to the main street. And if you walk down the hill.....on the way back, you walk up the hill, or brave the steps. Not for anyone will mobility problems. There are always sunbeds available and the big pool was ok, but cold. The children's pool had debris and dirty in it on at least 2 of the days. Not once during the week did we see the area hosed down. It's OK for a quick getaway, and it is an excellent location when you leave the summit of Corona Mountain. Eurospar is next door and after the steps just 10 mins to the front. In the end we were glad to get home, appreciate the stay but not the place if you do have mobility issues.

Brilliant as always,lovely clean spacious apartments.Cleaning ladies pleasant and hardworking and the reception staff too.Home from home,the complex seems to get returning guests year after year, that tells you everthing,we met previous guests we have met before and feel relaxed and love returning, Thank you

Just home from a fantastic 10 day stay at Corona Mar Apartments. These bright spacious apartments are in an excellent location, a few steps from large Spar supermarket, lots of bars, restaurants nearby. The whole complex is spotlessly clean. Apartments are large, well equipped - everything you could possibly need for self catering holiday. Beds are really comfortable, excellent shower, lots of hot water day and night. Great WiFi, lots channels on the TV, we even had RTE. Very quiet at night. The pool area is very well maintained, plenty of sunbeds, quiet and peaceful. Lastly the staff are hardworking and very efficient, they made us feel welcome, always had a friendly word and a smile. We have already booked our return visit to Corona Mar. Thank you all for a memorable holiday.

This is the second time we stayed at Corona Mar and it is a great, chilled out place to enjoy your holiday! Place is spotless and the maids do a fantastic job! Rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a self catering holiday including a proper Oven! A few things would make it a bit better which I will list but they are far from anything that would stop me going back (already booked for next year!) Beds are Comfortable but Pillows could do with a change, they are very cheap and lumpy! The reception is only open 9-4 so if you arrive outside of these hours then your key is taped to a wall which Is fine, but the room numbering system is crazy and most people arriving can't seem to find their apartment! We helped a few people but they could do with a layout plan or to change the room numbers to something better. Also, there is a tiny courtesy room which has no space for more than about 2 cases, so if you have a late flight (check out is 11 am) you find somewhere to store your luggage, also the room has a toilet and shower but sadly the shower is not the cleanest and very tiny. A dedicated luggage room and better facilities to have a wash would be a massive improvement! The above are not criticisms just things that would make the place even better! The only other point to note is that there is a lot of stairs to get up to the apartments, not an issue for us but people with reduced mobility would struggle! All in all a fantastic budget friendly place to stay and we can't wait to go back next year!

A lovely apartment very friendly staff located close to everything spotless clean and quiet supermarket right beside it 5 minutes to beach and shops and restaurants lovely pool and comfortable sun loungers first time staying but will definitely be there again x

On arrival at the apartments, they were clean and well equipped. The stairs up were a challenge with a large case, maybe the plan is to take less! The apartments and the pool area were well kept all week. Nice and quiet but close enough to the main strip. Will definitely return!
