The first moment we saw the hotel, that it looked quit new. Also it, is we figured out. We missed a lot a warm feeling and warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly but beside everything felt really cold and quiet. No music, no nice little talks etc. The room was fine, except the pillows, duvet and mattress. Pillows were really hard, mattress was really hard and the duvet was just a blanket and a thin plaid. For in October that’s pretty cold during the night, but for summer is will be enough is guess. I guess the hotel is fine just for one night, if you just need one night. Or maybe a good place for business people. They had loads of space for meetings etc. If you are looking for a warm place when you are traveling with family or as couples, I’m not recommend this place. I wont come back by myself to this place, cos i prefer a warm and lovely place. The breakfast was fine and enough choice.

Ich und mein Freund blieben hier 5 Tage und wir liebten jede Minute ! Es war erstaunlich ! Die Leute waren wunderschön und was wir brauchen Hilfe mit wie der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel oder bestellen ein Taxi, sie waren froh, zu helfen. Wir reservierten auch Frühstück, das es sicherlich wert war, da das Frühstück eine Vielzahl von Optionen hatte und es war lecker. Die Lage des Hotels war nicht im Zentrum von Pisa, aber noch ein toller Ort, um es zu haben und ein Busstopp ist direkt außerhalb des Hotels, so dass nachdem wir das Bussystem herausgefunden hatte, es war super nützlich. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel und tolle Kundenservice.

This was my first holiday this year and I decided to stay at Bagni di Pisa for 5 nights to celebrate my birthday and for a relaxing holiday in a very quiet and tranquil area. And quiet it is as I had very good night sleep all throughout my stay. Bed was comfortable and the Comfort double room I had was quite spacious and lovely decorated. Please bear in mind that this hotel is a typical Italian palazzo with antique furniture but this was a plus for me as it gives the hotel its unique character. I was on half board basis. The food was always good and the food menu and wine list were quite varied also offering typical stuff from the region. WiFi was so and so. The spa area was very good with heated indoor pools. Even the outdoor pool which was my favorite is heated. They offer also sauna and massages and I recommend their massage therapists highly especially a certain Alexandra and Caterina (if I’m not mistaken) - I felt rejuvenated, so thank you ! Housekeeping was done twice a day and toiletries offered were of very good quality. However even though I enjoyed my stay I have some reservations as follows: 1) This hotel is not adults only; 2)Even though the location is lovely and the hotel is situated overlooking the hills it’s quite detached from anything else albeit the train station which is situated just 8mins walk away; 3) At dinner they literally force you to take wine so you feel compelled to take wine - for a person like me who is a bit alcohol intolerant this is quite irritating; 4) Check the final bill when you checkout as you might have differences here and there- in my case there was a huge mistake but it was rectified immediately. I also noticed that prices shown here and there do not include tax- so watch out! 5) There’s no security anywhere inside or outside the building which for a huge place like this, which also caters for weddings etc, is quite unacceptable if not strange!! All in all I enjoyed it very much and I really appreciated the lovely gift the management gave me for my birthday but somehow I felt that there was something lacking. Even though all staff were cordial and friendly I didn’t feel at home…

Allgemein: Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und heute keine 4-Sterne mehr wert. Zwar sind gewisse Bereiche gepflegt (Rezeption, Eingang, Garten) jedoch sind die meisten Bereiche verstaubt, mit Spinnengewebe und Abnutzung allgemein sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Garten: Gepflügt, sauber aber nichts besonderes. Pool: Ziemlich viel Chlor im Wasser (Badehosen werden gelb/grün), Asphalt Boden. Leider nichts spezielles und lieblos gehalten. Aber grundlegend sauber. An der Pool-Bar sind diverse gängige Drinks nicht bekannt (Caipirinha, Pina Colada), und wenig Auswahl. Frühstück: Allgemein im normalen Bereich. Dennoch hätte ich mit für Italien etwas mehr erwartet. Man fühlt sich etwas wie im „Massen-Tourismus“. Das Ganze wird auch in Massen abgefertigt. Von daher sollte man keine grossen Ansprüche haben. Meer/Strand: Etwas sehr speziell! Man darf nur vordefinierte Liegen benutzen und darf am Strand nichts essen, sich kaum bewegen. Alles sehr voll. Massen-Tourismus !!! Für den Schweizer Standard eher nicht zu empfehlen. Wir waren zum Glück nur auf der Durchreise. Umgebung: Allgemein eher vergleichbar wie am Ballermann auf Mallorca. Ab 21 Uhr ist draussen die Hölle los. Für Familien ungeeignet. Ohne Reservation in einem Restaurant bekommt man quasi keinen Platz mehr. WLAN: Nicht der Rede wert. max. 1 Mbit. Personal: Trotz aller negativen Punkte, war das Personal immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier gibt es keinen Kritikpunkte. Fazit: !!! MASSEN-TOURISMUS !!! Einmal und nie wieder. Viel zu viel Menschen (trotz Corona Zeiten), zu wenig für 4 Sterne, Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Vielleicht haben wir zu hohe Ansprüche, aber man sollte grundsätzlich ehrliche Werbung für ein Hotel machen. Hätten wir dies vorher gewusst, wäre wir nicht gekommen.

Wir sind auf der Durchreise nach Sardinien den Platz angefahren, wurden gleich freundlich begrüßt. Dann ist unser Dieselfilter vom Auto gefallen und hat eine Riesensauerei auf dem Campingplatz angerichtet. Sie haben uns sofort geholfen, Werkstatt angerufen, Dieselfkecken beseitigt und beruhigt, daß bekommen wir schon hin usw. echt megalieb. Zum Glück konnten wir es zügig reparieren und ein Paar aus Uhldingen hat uns noch zur Sicherheit Kabelbinder geschenkt. Einfach toll solche Menschen hier zu treffen. Ein Hoch auf die Menschlichkeit auf diesem Campingplatz. Können diesen Platz nur empfehlen.
