Il mio sesto senso mi ha portata qua e non ha sbagliato! Sono solita a fare giri e viaggi in solitaria per ricaricarmi e ritrovare la mia dimensione soprattutto subito dopo la sessione d'esame all'università. E in questo hotel sono riuscita a rgenerarmi e a staccare un po'. Ho soggiornato 4 notti e ho visto un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Carinissima la receptionist Angelica (di nome e di fatto) ma anche tutto il resto del personale siccome da parte di tutto lo staff ho visto cordialità e disponibilità. La colazione ottima e abbondante. C'è un angolo per il salato e una varia scelta di dolci e udite udite cari amanti del pistacchio: ci sono i cornetti al pistacchio che sono buonissimi e che in altre strutture ricettive non ho visto. Tra la scelta di dolci c'erano vari tipi di cornetti: con pistacchio, vuoti, con marmellata, con crema, con cioccolato. Ma c'erano anche i cornetti salati. Sempre tra la scelta di dolci ho visto piccoli bomboloni con crema, ciambelline, crostate, piccoli saccottini al cioccolato e un tipo di torta diverso al giorno. C'è anche un angolo per intolleranti al lattosio e al glutine. La stanza singola era piccola, essenziale ma andava bene lo stesso dato che il letto era abbastanza comodo. Anche la pulizia in camera era impeccabile. Ho poi apprezzato il fatto di aver trovato nell'armadio una sporta che può essere usata per gli abiti sporchi, ne ho avuto bisogno dato che la mia si è rotta. La bellissima terrazza dell'hotel sul mare è un pezzo forte. Sulla terrazza c'è una piscina in cui si può accedere in orari prestabiliti e sulla destra c'è l'accesso alla spiaggetta privata e con l'aggiunta di un supplemento potete sfruttare anche l'ombrellone e un lettino. Per il pranzo e la cena ci sono tanti ristoranti nei dintorni di cui alcuni con un piccolo sconto dato che sono convenzionati con l'hotel. Per il pranzo però potete anche approfittare del servizio bar dell'hotel che offre pietanze ad un prezzo non troppo alto. Spero di ritornare

We booked 2 nights in Life Hotel, expecting a 4 star experience reflected in the cost - €150 per night including breakfast. It fell well below our expectations, worst of all being dinner in the restaurant on the night of our arrival. The real positive of our stay was the breakfast and the staff working at that time - they were wonderful. Our room was comfortable but lacked anything that could be considered 'deluxe' - apart from the fancy lighting system perhaps and a really good shower. The bed was comfortable. A large balcony in our room had 2 upright chairs and a coffee table with an ashtray - more relaxing furniture would have made it a place where you could chill out, watching the sea. There was no such zone to be found anywhere in the hotel. The lowest point was dinner - don't order the hummus as it's a tiny portion and not hummus at all but puree chickpeas with not even a hint of tahini. I ordered fish - branzino gratinato - it was terrible, could have been frozen but was definitely over-cooked. My husband had ravioli most of which was uneaten as it was like cardboard. The side of vegetables was also a sorry affair and went back almost untouched. All of which drew no comment from the waiter - service was perfunctory at best. When we complained to the reception staff they smiled and nodded, nothing more. And then on check out, I was informed that there was an extra charge for parking in the hotel garage - it was the first time I'd heard of the charge and in a hotel asking €150 per night I would have expected it to be included. The spa is also extra, by the way. So, if you're looking for 4-star standards look elsewhere. (we had a fabulous meal in hotel Bianchi Nicola on our second day).
