Very comfortable and suitable for our students to live

Das Hotel war ein wenig überrascht und würde definitiv empfehlen. Erstaunlich gut (in der Zimmerpreise enthalten) Frühstück und sehr nahe am Meer. Wir reservierten ein Familienzimmer, das ein großes Doppelbett plus ein Sofabett war, das ausgezogen wurde, alles sehr sauber. Unsere beiden Kinder teilten das. Es war sehr ruhig. Es gab auch ein kleines Kettle und Tee/Kaffee/uht Milch im Zimmer. Das Badezimmer war geräumig, es gab viele Handtücher und es gab Duschegel und Shampoo sowie flüssige Handsaft. Parkplatz ist inbegriffen, auch wenn es auf der Straße sein kann (das Hotel gibt Ihnen eine Genehmigung). Das Frühstück war Tischservice mit einer guten Auswahl an vollen Englisch, Eier König, etc. Unsere Kinder genossen wirklich die Pancakes mit Sirup/Frucht. Es gibt einige Outdoor-Sitze für Frühstück (wenn Sie sich außerhalb sitzen möchten) was sehr schön war. Wir hatten jeden Morgen einen ungefähren Frühstückszeitraum zu geben. Wir haben am Abend nicht im Restaurant gegessen, nur weil wir nicht zu verpflichten, um zu einer bestimmten Zeit zurück zu sein, aber das Menü sah gut aus. Rezeption empfahl die Buchung zum Essen im Voraus und letztes Essenslot war ziemlich früh, ich denke vielleicht 1915. Das Hotel ist gut für die Seefront und nur einen 5-10 Min. Spaziergang zum Pier und kleine Spaziergang und alte Artarcha mit 2p-Druckmaschinen usw. Wir hatten Fische und Chips im Restaurant auf dem Pier eine Nacht und es war alles gut. Wir essen auch im Southsea Beach Café, das auch gut war und nur wenige Minuten vor dem Pier. Weitere Dinge, die in der Nähe zu überprüfen sind: der Canoe Lake und Park (gute Kinderspielplatz), D Day Museum, Südsee Schloss (frei, hat ein wenig Kaffee am Boden), die Felsengarten. Wir haben den Bus Nr. 3 oder 23 gefangen, um die historischen Dockyards zu erreichen, der Bushaltepunkt ist auf der Clarendon Road und es dauert nur etwa 10 Minuten. Abfahrt zum Hard Interchange/Busstation. Dies ist auch der Stopp für Gun Wharf Quays. Viele Kinderfreundliche Orte zu essen in Gun Wharf Quay auch

Parking was excellent close to shopping breakfast was available but we ate out

We stayed here for two nights to visit the historic dockyard before moving onto the Isle if Wight, we booked it through Booking dot com. We had a luxury room on the ground floor which had just been finished. First I'd like to mention the staff and service; from checking in to checking out the staff we interacted with were polite, very helpful and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast service was good with a wide selection to choose form, hot food is cooked to order so not particularly quick when busy but still far superior to a buffet style. Our room, Gracious, is on the ground floor at the front of the property, our initial concerns about road noise and being next to the hotel entrance were happily unfounded. The ensuite bathroom is huge, with a spa bath at one end and a double shower enclosure at the other. The bed is large, probably super king-size?, and comfortable, there is a small dressing table and wardrobe and a soft chair. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had no complaints at all but there a few things that management may want to consider going forward; there is a large flat screen smart tv mounted on the wall above the dressing table which makes it difficult to watch from the bed being at 90° to the wall. There was an issue getting a reliable service on the TV which staff tried to resolve during our stay; there was also an intermittent issue with the WiFi dropping in and out. We found the shower water pressure on the low side but forgot to mention this before we left. Location is good, 5 minute walk to the nearest restaraunts on Albert Road or a 10 minute bus ride into Portsmouths Gunwharf Quay, the bus stops right outside the hotel. We would definitely stay again

Wir hatten einen wirklich guten Aufenthalt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Rezeptionspersonal arbeitete insbesondere ständig an der Rezeption, in der Bar und hilfte nach den Mahlzeiten und Frühstücken gereinigt und gereinigt. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das einzige Problem ist die separate Parkgebühr. Das Hotel muss für eine Maschine bezahlen, ist ungewöhnlich und unnötig.

Very conveniently positioned, a short walk away from the beach and the esplanade, but better value than the hotels on the seafront. Checking in was a quick and simple process, and the room was pleasant and clean, however, the decoration does require some TLC, including a paper sign that was torn and half off the wall where it was originally attached. A minor issue, but replacing it would take minutes, and it would immediately give a better first impression. The sink was in the room (not in the bathroom) but it was making the best use of the space available, Breakfast was fresh and served quickly, with unlimited self-service cereal, juice, and tea/coffee available. I would not hesitate in staying here again.

We stayed here for a few days on our first visit to the isle of wight with our two dogs. The hotel was just what we wanted in a great location in Newport. The staff were excellent particularly Chrissy, Doreen, kerry Lily and Sophie. They made us very welcome and even allowed to dogs into the restaurant. We had breakfast every day and dinner most days and all was very good. Would happily stay there again.
