Typical of the Portuguese Hotels we have had on our Bunnik tour on the Portuguese leg. Stairs and no ramp to get suitcases into the hotel and a bit if a shortage of staff to help. No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel,shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.

Komfortable Zimmer und Lage einfach genug, um in alle Teile der Stadt mit Uber zu kommen, die sehr vernünftig sind und kosten ca. 3 Euro bis zum längsten Punkt am Fluss. Sie könnten gehen, aber mein Vater hat einige Mobilitätsprobleme und der Uber war viel schneller, so dass wir Poroto ausstellen, ohne müde vom Walk in die Stadt zu müde. Das Hotel ist gut gepflegt, ist gemütlich und einmal in der Innenstadt einladen, nicht von der Außenseite aus. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut für den Preisblock konzipiert. Achtung für die Details der Dinge im Badezimmer müssen jedoch behandelt werden. Seifentafel war auf der Wand los, wie die Fässer auf dem Bad Tauch. Kleine Details, die sonst ein sehr schönes Zimmer unter seinem Potenzial bringen. Obwohl ein kleines Unternehmen für mich, habe ich noch sehr gut auf dem Bett geschlafen. Kein externes Lärm gehört und ruhige und wirksame Klimaanlage. Die Sicherheit war für mich ein Problem. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer und der Safe wurde nicht in den Schrank gebohrt, Sie konnten den Safe entfernen, wenn Sie wollten. Das macht den Safe redundant und beunruhigt mich. Das Front Desk hat auch nicht ihre eigene Safe für Gästewerten. Wir hatten jedoch keine Ausgabe und unsere Anlagen blieben unberührt. Die Hotels haben unsere Anlagen am letzten Tag in ein Lagerraum verriegelt. Ich würde hier sicher noch einmal bleiben und ich denke, dieses Hotel bietet beides ein Element von Luxus, während es eine mittelpreisliche Option bleibt. Das Personal war auch sehr hilfreich und aufmerksam.

Excelente servicio calidad / precio. Se trata de apartamentos turísticos, no es un hotel. No obstante, todo nuevo y lo más importante, limpio y céntrico. Lo que menos me gustó fue que la hora de entrada es a las 16 horas. Se hace todo a través de email, el dia de llegada por la mañana mandan todas las claves para entrar tanto al edificio como a la habitación. La respuesta e interacción es inmediata por lo que el servicio, a pesar de no tener recepción, es correcto. En mi caso, reservé estudio y viene con todo lo básico. También hay algunos canales de TV internacionales, wifi, aire caliente funciona. Si siguen así repetiremos sin duda.

기차역에서 돌바닥 비탈길을 조금 걸어 올라가긴 하지만 10~12분 거리로 가까워요. 캐리어가 무거우면 조금은 힘든 정도. 주요 핫플레이스와 거의 5~10분 거리이며 아담하고 깨끗해요. 객실의 나무바닥과 화장실의 타일 바닥이 깨끗하고 촉감이 좋아서 맨발로 걸어 다녔어요. 여행 끝자락이라 피로가 심했는데 금방 콸콸 쏟아지는 따뜻한 샤워 세번으로 몸이 가뿐해졌어요. 웰컴드링크와 조식에 직접 만들어 먹은 크레페도 재미있었어요. 친절한 여자 직원분이 요리법도 살짝 알려주시고 아들에게 전문 셰프같다며 엄지척도 해 주시고. 카운터나 식당 직원들의 밝은 미소와 인사도 인상적이네요. 더블룸이었는데 입구쪽에 소파 비슷한 엑스트라 베드가 하나 더 있어 침대 겸 소파로 사용했어요. 소리에 민감하지 않은 편이라 밤새 돌바닥을 구르는 차바퀴 소리와 빗소리도 운치있게 들었던 것 같아요. 여행 중 급하게 구한 곳인데 조식포함 가격도 가장 저렴해서 13일 동안의 숙소 중 가장 만족스럽네요. 리뷰 한번 쓰지 않았던 제가 이렇게 리뷰를 쓸 정도로~

Sehr zentral gelegenes komfortables Hotel mit angenehm ausgestattetem Zimmer und freundlichem Service. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jederzeit wieder. Alle zentral gelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen.

Sehr schönes und noch recht neues Hotel in Laufnähe zu den Portweinkellereien und der Promenade. Auch die Ribeira auf der anderen Flussseite ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Gutes Frühstücksbüffet, hier findet man immer was. Sehr schöner Wellnessbereich. Nutzung nur mit Badekleidung. Sehr netter Service am Empfang und im Restaurant. Tolle Aussicht aus der Bar oben auf die Brücke und die Stadt. Alles in allem top Hotel und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Bereits das zweite Mal war ich in diesem Hotel. Es gab im Vorfeld ein Upgrade auf ein Club-Zimmer im 11. OG. Normalerweise beinhaltet dies wie auch mein Status den Zugang zur Lounge. Diese war aber nicht nur geschlossen, sondern total ausgeräumt (s. Foto), so dass ich gar nicht weiß, ob man vorhat, sie überhaupt wieder zu öffnen. Leider gab es als Kompensation nicht den hier bereits erwähnten Wagen mit Leckereien. Man bekam aber das Frühstück im Hauptrestaurant dafür kostenlos. Die im 12. OG gelegene Lounge wird sonst für das Frühstück der Statusgäste genutzt. Die Zimmer im 12. OG scheinen z. T. gerade renoviert zu werden, weshalb wohl auch keine Suiten verfügbar sind. Das Frühstück war gut, die Bedienung hier wie auch das Personal am Check-In freundlich. Als Titanium-Gast hätte ich mich über einen Willkommensgruß des Managements gefreut, wie sonst eigentlich üblich. Die Lage außerhalb des Zentrums ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Metra Francks 10 Minuten, Bus 5 Minuten fußläufig) gut zu überbrücken.

Ficamos num excelente apartamento de 2 quartos no Gaia Residence que é conjugado ao hotel Hollyday Inn. O apartamento é completo com camas para 4, uma pequena cozinha, sala de estar e uma pequena mesa para refeições. Tudo é perfeito até a hora do excelente café da manhã, bastante completo, porém servido no mesmo ambiente para os dois hotéis. Aí ocorrem os problemas de superlotação. Uma guerra!!!

Stayed four night as a base for Porto centre. Would give it 3.5 if possible to use halfs. Rooms were clean although showing signs of wear. Bed made up daily and fresh towels. Lack of shelf space in cupboard. Used for breakfast once but also tried the Mitica Inspiracao out of the back door twice for a more relaxed setting and no temptation to overfill v the buffet. Shower has good temperature and flow. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nearby supermarket for anything you need. The bus from the airport took 50 mins during the morning midweek, and initially goes away from the hotel before heading back towards it. If I was doing it again I would take the Metro to Ramalde the nearest stop and then get an Uber to the hotel. The airport Metro is just behind the road at arrivals. Bus 304 seemed the quicker bus than the 300 or 301 into town. Had issues with bus reliability getting back from town after 8pm using information from route planner on Google maps .. chasing round various bus stops near the Town Hall Square to no avail. Ended up prefering to get the Metro back to Ramalde and then €3 for an Uber. Opted to use luggage lockers at Trindade Metro, €6 small for upto 12 hours rather than detour back to the hotel on the last day. Other sizes available but limited availability.
