Hervorragendes Guest House in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Ideal als Übernachtung vor Flügen, aber auch wunderschön wenn man länger in Port Elizabeth bleiben möchte. David und sein Team bieten einen top Service und sind super hilfsbereit bei allen Themen und fragen. Auch ein früher Flughafentransfer wurde unkompliziert und günstig realisiert.

Ich liebe es einfach, saubere Zimmer, alles ist sauber und das Personal ist super freundlich. Ich komme immer wieder, es war mein dritter Aufenthalt bislang, schöne Lage. Ich würde dieses Hotel völlig an Menschen empfehlen, die hier Unterkunft in Hafen Elizabeth brauchen.😌🙏

Die Atmosphäre im Paxton Hotel war erstaunlich - das gesamte Personal war mir so freundlich und immer lächelnd. Meine Abendessen war auch ziemlich gut, nichts außergewöhnliches, aber es war warm und frisch und schnell. Die Meerblicke sind wirklich wunderschön und die Zimmer waren sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Die schöne Konsole hat mich sogar am Pool nach meinem checkout lassen :)

Nur gute Dinge zu sagen! Wir lieben das oberste Zimmer mit schönem Bett, sauberem Bad und sogar einem Balkon, der den Pool überblickt. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend, mit einem vielfältigen Inhalt und einem schönen Touch eines Hausrezepts. Die Straße scheint sicher, und es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz. Es ist nahe am Strand, aber immer noch sehr ruhig. Wir genossen uns sehr danke!!!

Deteriorated since my previous stay in 2019 LOCATION: Excellent. Across the road from the beach. Linked to the Boardwalk Mall. APPEARANCE: Attractive. Victorian Style. Well maintained. ROOM (Stayed in a junior suite): Decor: Great. Blends in with hotel style. Size: Very spacious. Amenities: No extra blanket available during a cold spell. Cleanliness: Excellent. Quality of sleep: Very comfortable bedding. Cold. SERVICE: Appalling. Marked deterioration since my last visit. Needs a serious shake-up. I stayed just 1 night and yet 2 incidents of note: 1. Phoned housekeeping to request an extra blanket during a cold spell. I am still waiting for the blanket... 2. We were a group that booked 3 rooms. 2 people requested a 1-hour later checkout at adjacent receptionists at the EXACT same time. 1 receptionist happily met the request, the other bluntly refused without even asking a room number or even pretending to look at the computer screen! Lazy? Arrogant? Bad attitude? Poorly trained? Service at the Spa was excellent (But this is privately run by Camelot and not Sun International which probably explains the better service than the hotel) DINING: Breakfast was average. Clean spacious dining hall. Limited selection. lacking variety (Not 5-Star). Good quality and presentation. ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES: Great heated indoor pool - probably the hotel's biggest drawcard (Temperature should be turned up a notch though). Outdoor pool as well. Gym. Great spa. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Didn't have much time to explore. Ocean at the doorstep. MY BOOKING AGENT: Hotel website as an MVG member. Will I recommend/stay there again? Maybe. Not much competition in the area unfortunately. However with this service, they are trying hard to deter repeat visitors.

We have stayed here many time because it is a beautiful building in an excellent location. The general staff are outstanding and the food and rooms are amazing. Unfortunately the front desk is just not the same as the rest of the experience. When I wrote in to ask for an early check in I got no reply- on my arrival I asked about this and was told because I got no reply that means it’s fine. I find this odd as I explained that we were arriving after a three part flight over 18 hours. We have stayed here at least 3 other times and my comment for each time would be pretty much the same - I feel the front desk could do better to Mach their rest of the experience.

We had an absolutely great Cape Trip with no terrible rooms, all 5star in their own way. But No. 5 and Swartberg Manor were our two best. No. 5 was an awesome! value. It was easily our best room physically in are whole trip. Spacious!, clean, quiet and peaceful. We were put up in the 3 room annex across the street, room number 10, it was huge and well appointment. Crossing the street for breakfast was no big deal, in return we had a house with only 3 quests, total peace and quiet and pool virtually to ourselves. The food was outstanding for dinner, and the breakfast superb! They made hot breakfast 20 min early for us (06:40) to facilitate our daytrip/safari at Addo Elephant. Unbelievable service. Art work is a great touch making this a unique place. Great service all around, but Nick the desk manager who we interacted with the most was superb. Attached some pics of the Annex.

WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say. What a pleasant experience. Since we arrived Frans was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and modern. The bed was comfortable. It was super clean in the room, and they just thought of everything. We requested breakfast earlier than the normal breakfast time and again Frans bended backwards to assist us. We met Christine the next morning at breakfast, and she is such a warm and friendly person. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing. I would stay there again and recommend it to all friends, family and collegues.
