Das ist ein gutes Resort, wenn Sie einen angemessenen Preis erhalten können, wie wir es getan haben. Wenn Sie direkt durch das Resort buchen, scheinen die Preise für den Wert hoch. Einer der Jacuzzis funktionierte nicht und der andere war während unseres Aufenthalts ziemlich belastet. Die Lage war gut und das Einlaufen in alle Gebiete der Insel war einfach und komfortabel. Die Lounge hatte guten Service, Getränke, Lebensmittel und Unterhaltung nachts, was ein gutes Plus war. Wir fanden das Personal sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Ich denke, dieses Resort wäre gut für Familien. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig datiert, aber es scheint, dass die Upgrades werden gemacht. Die Zimmer brauchen wirklich ein scharfes Gürtel auf der Schiebetür zum Lanai. Wir fanden die großen Holzanpflanzungstüren, die Sie in der Nähe schleifen, um beunruhigend und klumzig zu sein. Wir würden aufgrund der großen Mitarbeiter und des weltbewohnenden Services hier wieder bleiben.

My wife and I came to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa for a family wedding. Let me say first off, the facility is beautiful. Stunning views are found around every turn. When you first enter the main lobby, there is an open view of the ocean, which is just breathtaking. If you are looking for gorgeous scenery, the Grand Hyatt Kauai will not disappoint. The staff here are incredible. We spent a great deal of time at the pool. Servers speed back and forth between guest taking drink and food orders. I was amazed at how hard and efficiently these people worked. Just spectacular. I mean, what can be easier than sitting on a chaise lounge, placing an order and having food and drink delivered? There are several pools on property. On the top level nearest the hotel is the adult pool. You have to be 14 or older to use the pool. Below this pool is the main pool, which is huge. There are lots of little hidden nooks and a waterfall where you can steal some alone time with your loved ones or friends. A saltwater lagoon/pool is located nearer the ocean. There is also a lazy river if you just want to float peacefully along on the water. The one area that was disappointing was the food. It’s Hawaii, so you have to go in knowing everything is expensive. My wife and I routinely dropped one-hundred dollars on what can best be described as mediocre food. If you eat on property, you are paying a premium for the experience, and receiving less than premium dinning. This is no reflection on the staff, who again are wonderful, it is just the food is meh. We did not eat at the Tide Pools steak house, so they are not included in this review. The overall experience at the Gran Hyatt Kauai is fabulous. Stunning views, attentive staff, top notch service, but the food at the various eateries we ate at was underwhelming and disappointing for the amount of money paid to stay at this lovely resort.

We stayed at Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club, a Marriott Vacation Club property, on our way off the island. We booked an Ocean Front Parlor using hold points and got exactly what we wanted - a clean room with a true ocean view. The card named Carrie as the housekeeper, and she did an amazing job - the room was fully stocked and immaculate. Her hard work & that of other housekeepers earned the 4th star for this rating! We were less than impressed with the other employees we encountered. No one seemed happy to be working there. The bell staff seemed disenchanted, and yes, you have to use bell staff at this location. Front desk staff were not welcoming. In fact, we wanted in line for 20 minutes to check in & were improperly charged occupancy tax for a night that we did not actually occupy the room. We were incorrectly told that we had to check out by 10 am to avoid paying occupancy tax, which we knew to be wrong thanks to being educated in great detail about the occupancy tax law the previous year by the staff at Ko Olina Beach Club. This front desk employee had a real attitude— we chose not to argue with him. His behavior was indicative of the vibe we got from everyone else we encountered there. If not for the outstanding condition of our room, this would be a 2-3 star rating. We don’t plan to return to Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club unless it is the only location available on Kauai when we can travel. There are plenty of other lodging options available in Lihue. They don’t have the excellent beach front location of this resort, though, and the proximity to great restaurants. We might try the Royal Sonesta, though. It’s collocated & actually maintains the pool & grounds. The Royal Sonesta employees we encountered gave off the same type of vibe (disinterested, unhelpful, unwelcoming) as the Marriott Vacation Club staff, though. Just don’t expect a warm welcome at either location.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auf unseren etwas früheren CheckIn wurde Rücksicht genommen, genauso wie auf einen späteren CheckOut. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mahalo! Die Anlage selbst ist toll gelegen, auf einem kleinen Hügel, Blick aufs Meer, viele Essensmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Apartment selbst: überraschend großzügig und sehr sauber! Ich finde es amüsant, das manche sich in Bewertungen über die Zweistöckigkeit „beschweren“. Für 2-3 Personen sind die Wohnungen vergleichsweise riesig für ein Ferienapartment.

Schönes Personal und sehr hilfreich. Vintage-Motel zu einem guten Preis... plus keine Resortgebühr.

Dieses Mal, als ich blieb, gab es nicht das beste Zimmer. Dies ist mein vierter Aufenthalt dort und die letzte Reise, die ich in den renovierten Zimmern, die groß waren, zu bleiben. Diese letzte Reise. Ich blieb im alten und das Zimmer war ziemlich duftend wie Milch, aber es war nur für eine Nacht 

Der Service ist tadellos, die Umgebung ist wunderschön und die Einrichtungen sind komplett. Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Flughafen und kommt erst nach dem Golfplatz im Hotel an. Der Hotelrasen wird täglich gepflegt, es gibt einen Grill zur Selbstbedienung, die Terrasse ist groß und die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist bezaubernd. Ort, die Aussicht ist sehr charmant, wie ein wunderschönes Landschaftsgemälde, es lohnt sich, wieder zu bleiben?

Die Lage ist super und ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Die Auswahl an Speisen rund um das Hotel ist großartig. Das Hotelzimmer, das wir bekamen (Ebene 1), liegt zum Strand und es ist großartig, außer dass es nicht das sauberste ist, da wir 1 Eidechse und mindestens 10 Kakerlaken gesehen haben. Das kann daran liegen, dass sich das Zimmer auf Ebene 1 befindet. Wir haben uns nicht die Mühe gemacht, uns umzuziehen, da wir nur kurze Zeit dort waren und alle unsere Sachen ausgepackt hatten, als wir die Anwesenheit all der gruseligen Krabbeltiere bemerkten. Die Annehmlichkeiten sind gut, mit Wäscherei, Eismaschine und Mikrowelle. Das Frühstücksbuffet kann man vergessen, aber die Servicekräfte sind alle nett.
