3-Sterne-Hotels in Piräus

Not my first time and it won’t be my last …….I was in town for business and needed to do Athens on a budget …. And was so pleasantly surprised again …I used the hotel some years ago and had a good stay ….. this time I was not expecting much don’t know why. So I stayed for 4 nights ….. The rooms were clean well appointed and the bed was perfect, breakfasts were a standard continental offering with a couple of Greek additions, service was consistently friendly and efficient. So on the last day of my stay I reflected on how I was enjoying my stay it was like meeting an old friend again …. That I had forgotten about. The hotel just hummed, it was a full house and I could not fault my stay and I got that at what I thought was a very reasonable price ……and the bonus for me this time was the new metro connecting me to the city centre and the airport … thanks Hotel Savoy see you next year

Der Zimmertyp des Duplex-Apartments ist KEIN Duplex. Es gibt diesen Zimmertyp im Hotel nicht!! Wir haben Stunden gebraucht, um die Sache mit Trip.com zu klären, aber das Hotel ist ausgebucht. Da kann man nichts machen, außer ich ziehe in ein anderes Hotel. Am Ende bekam ich eine Suite mit einem Schlafzimmer und nur einem kleinen Doppelbett. Kein Zustellbett oder Schlafsofa. Pro: - Die Lage ist nur 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. - Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist in gutem Zustand. Kontra: - Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist überhaupt NICHT ausreichend!! Es ist über 29 Grad, egal welche Temperatur wir einstellen. Das kleine Schlafzimmer hat keine Klimaanlage und ich konnte wegen der Hitze überhaupt nicht schlafen. Es ist die ganze Zeit über über 30 Grad im Schlafzimmer ohne Klimaanlage... wenn ich das Fenster öffne, ist die Klimaanlage komplett ausgeschaltet... - Die Temperatur der Dusche ist entweder sehr heiß oder sehr kalt... - Es gibt überhaupt keinen Ventilator oder keine Klimaanlage im Badezimmer. - es gibt keine Haken oder Kleiderbügel im Badezimmer, um Handtücher oder Kleidung aufzuhängen... - Kein Frühstücksrestaurant, sondern eine Kiste mit verschiedenen Sachen. Insgesamt werde ich nicht wieder hier übernachten!!

Stayed here midweek for four nights (Monday to Thursday) for work in July. I really don't recognise this hotel from the bad reviews on here so can only assume it's under new ownership/management. I had a superior single booked but was given a twin so it was a decent size for one but might have been a little cramped for two people. The room had a balcony but was so high on the 7th floor that I didn't use it as I'm not great with heights. The room also had great air con and thankfully a small fridge. I had four great nights' sleep so the hotel was obviously quiet (although I believe from the students who I was supervising and stayed for a fortnight it can be noisy at weekends). It's not perfect: the tea at breakfast is (like most hotels in Europe) awful, there is not a massive choice of food at breakfast and the rooms don't have a kettle (I would take a travel kettle if you want a tea/coffee as it was an absolute godsend) but overall I was pleasantly surprised as there was little choice of hotels as we booked late. There seemed to be a smell of smoke in my room one night which I can only assume came from the room next door and the advertised roof top terrace was not available as it looked like it was being refurbished. It's not in a great area for tourists but there are plenty of restaurants, takeaways and bakeries within walking distance and the nearby curry house is very good value. The hotel is 10-15 minute walk from the Piraeus metro station and then a further 30 minutes or so to Athens' main attractions so I would allow 45-60 mins to get from the hotel to the touristy bits (I think there are buses that go some/all the way but I never worked this out as the metro seemed easy enough) A special thanks to Mario who got me some fresh milk from the kitchen on the night I arrived late. Also the cleaner was friendly and did a great job and we we were allowed to leave our luggage at reception on the day we left (we had a late flight back) Overall a great stay for what we charged. I would thoroughly recommend and with a couple of minor improvements this could be a great budget option. I might be a bit more critical if it was my own money I had been spending but still I had a really comfortable and peaceful stay.

Die Lage ist gut, ein paar hundert Meter vom Hafen von Piräus entfernt und das Frühstück ist gut. Das Zimmer sieht auch ziemlich sauber aus, aber es sieht anders aus als echte sanitäre Einrichtungen! Das Bettzeug war sehr weiß, aber einige Käfer haben zwei Kaulquappen auf meinen Arm gebissen und sind immer noch da.

Upon late arrival we were greeted with complementary drinks. The rooms are clean and beds were made everyday. The staff were very helpful and did everything to ensure our stay was great. The food was amazing at the hotel. The hotels location is close to the port and close to the metro. It only cost 1.40 euro to get into Athens. It is walk able distance to the marina and some great restaurants on the shore coast

The location is very close to the Piraeus port, Will only cost around 5.00 euro for a urber ride. if you choice to walk, it is define within the walking distance of the Piraeus port. The room is very comfortable, with a lot spaces, got everything you will need for a quick stay, since mostly likely that is the reasons you pick this place. Is to catch the Ferry early next day. If you need a lot of services from the hotel, that is probably not for you, It is a more a self service hotels within a very quite neighborhood. It got quite a few restaurants around it, getting something to eat before your ferry would not be an issue. We missed our original scheduled ferry (7:00AM) , so my wife and I were at port without any place to go before we can check in around 12:00PM. After talking to the hotel owner, he made a deal for us to use another room until our regular checking in time for a very reasonable price. We will need that since we were bit deflated after missing our ferry by about 5 minutes. That is very nice for the hotel owner. Just for that, the hotel get a extra star.

Obwohl dieses Hotel an manchen Stellen etwas Pflege vertragen könnte, hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter gehörten zu den freundlichsten und hilfsbereitesten, die wir je erlebt haben. Es gibt Frühstück, das sehr gut ist. Perfekt sauber und funktional, und wir würden gerne wieder hier übernachten.

Der Platz ist schön und subtil. Sehr ruhige Straße mit wenigen Bars. Es ist nahe der Fähren, so dass Sie planen, einen zu nehmen und hier zuerst Ruhe zu wollen.
