Leisure Hotel Pinyao

Absolute gem of a place right in the centre of the ancient town of Pingyao. Owners were incredibly accommodating of our travel needs, making us a takeaway breakfast and getting to the station for 7am. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. You’ll not be disappointed!

The stay was just perfect 😍 it started with a pre-message on WeChat to organize the smooth pickup from the railway station. After that we had a very warm and friendly welcome at the hotel. The environment and the yard are so cozy, quiet and beautiful. The room itself was very lovely and super clean. All important things were available. A perfect mix of modern luxury and ancient architecture. The WeChat service was available all the time and responded very quickly, staff was amazingly friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and tasty, didn’t except such a delicious breakfast in a “small” city. Better than many 5 star hotels. Checkout was smooth and transfer back to the train station well organized in advanced. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended! Thanks to all the stuff for this great experience.

Booked two rooms for our family holiday. Our son returned from the United States, and Pingyao was our first stop as well as our first visit to this historic town. The experience exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hotel welcomed us warmly, even preparing a thoughtful fruit platter upon check-in, which set a positive tone for our stay. The hotel is newly opened, and it shows. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with floor heating, ensuring a cozy and comfortable retreat from the freezing winter weather outside. The service was truly outstanding. The staff’s hospitality stood out as they went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. They arranged convenient shuttle services to and from Pingyao Ancient City Railway Station, and a staff member even helped carry our luggage up the stairs to the station entrance upon arrival. Such thoughtful acts and care left a lasting impression on us. Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfect. The combination of excellent service, warm hospitality, and a clean, cozy environment made our visit to Pingyao unforgettable. What an amazing stay we had. They even upgraded us to another luxury room because there was a slight problem with the living room light. The place is really well kept and beautiful. Very peaceful and central location . The people at the reception were very helpful and kept us in touch with we chat all the time.they even came for us and took us back to the station. Breakfast was devine ::)) . Highly recommend to stay if you plan to come to beautiful pingyao. Thanks guys for your great service. Keep it up.

Very clean room, perfect location and great staff. It was very quiet at night I got a very good sleep. We got a pickup from the train station to the hotel and back, that was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is incredible and cared very much about us. The hotel is beautiful and well furnished. Breakfast is very good and generous. Perfect location. Peaceful location in a buoyant city.
